Thanks tonkazan shakataka and tanduri used to be my places in the south coast but I will be in the north this time.

South cost is a dream specifically Diani, if you can afford the high price hotels. I didn't find any reasonable medium cost accommodation.

Comparing to Diani mtwapa is a slum full of problems. Sure there are girls but you will not feel at vacation. If I had the money I am sure I would go again to Diani but until then I am staying away from north cost.

Things that I can stand in the past I can't stand now. I met one of the forum members years ago in Mombasa he told me that he hate the dirt and sand of mtwapa, I didn't agree then but now I understand and feel the same.

I have a very good memories from Diani beach I am sure I will come back but with plan B just in case that the glory past will gone.

Mombasa is still safe. Yes, there have been a few incidents involving MRC, but nothing to worry you. Their activities have been flatly rejected at the north coast, and a number have been lynched by the locals. In fact. Locals in places like Kilifi have sworn to lynch them whenever they set foot in the area. Their main base is south coast, but even there, their activities are in the local villages, not the towns or tourist areas. If you are travelling to Mombasa island or the north coast, you can monger in peace.

Forget tagged. You can find more willing ladys at daytime in the streets than on tagged.

I've walked at night with no problem from the main road to Luck apts. It seems from this website that the beach at night is not safe.

Use a coma when you want to PAUSE, and continue speaking. Make your sentences longer, write as if speaking to someone, ending with. (full stop)

Yes, just hit the "Backspace key" to fix the text. Always press on "preview report"

Merry Villa and luck apartments are next to the Catholic church. Both are good places to stay. Forget about Nakumatt, forget about website reservation just walk to luck apartment and negotiate. There is NO FIX PRICES in Kenya.

Luck apartment is one of the best places in Mtwapa. If you have money then one of the hotels on the beach will better place. You can mix one week in luck apartment and one week in kahama hotel.
