The big tree beach is about the only beach there for all day time action (next to pirate beach).

It is a public beach but the hotel and bar / restaurant bit on the beach is private and belongs to the hotel.

They have tight security and are strict about you buying things like coco nuts crisps on the beach and eating them on there premises.

But there you will find girls on the game.

Night time wise you want casa blanka (in the middle of town).

This is a night club with strip bar down stairs, but you have to pay to enter the club on weekend unless you know them (I know the DJ).

The other one is (I think) mad house (can't remember the name).

Its on the out skirts next to the sea.

There you will see all the boats coming into the dock.

Very up market, casino room and 2 dance floors down stairs, weekends they host dancers.

Both clubs are defo pick up joints.

You want the cheap deal best go late when the one who are left will drop there prices.

If you don't see anything you like in Big Three, you should walk to Cheers bar. That is what girls do, they walk between Cheers and Big Three to see if they find a customer. Cheers you find when you walk from Big Three to the main road, in the same area as gas station.

You also did not mention Casorina, which is main girl pickup place, that is in Mtwapa town. I don't know how much it is declined lately.

Also bars and club in the Nakumat are worth of checking.

Have stayed at Mona Lisa, Big Tree, Kahama etc on earlier trips and always looking for something new, both meat and accommodation.

Have anyone stayed at Giardino be&be? Girlfriendly is the first question that comes to my mind.

Usually only Tourist hotels and Resorts are not girl friendly, every normal Hotel and apartment is like every where in the world open for guests too.

I usually use an apartment in Mtwapa, There is devils in, Kerstinsapartments and Hibiscus in the till 1500 KsH / per day segment. Easy to find at google.

I was in Mtwapa from 23 - 29 Dez 2014 after my trip to Ethiopia. After I got stolen from safe in.

Mtwapa after posta against Kanders arcade I shifted 50 meters to Stepin a nice clean and correct small hotel. I paid 1500 KsH for that height season time had perfect service, my room got cleaned and not searched like in Georgias before. I have had a perfect bed and the house is 100% women friendly!

Here my warnings, even Georgias is friendly the plays in restaurant perfect, I was not the first there who got stolen!

A guard was shot dead by gunmen as they attempted to access the hotel on Sunday night.

Tragedy struck on Sunday night when gunmen shot dead a guard and injured his colleague in a daring raid at Diani's The Sands at Chale Island resort in Kwale County. The motive of the attackers, some clad in police uniform, is not known but reports indicate the tourist resort was 60 per cent booked by Kenyan and mainly Italian tourists. Security agents have not explained how the gunmen arrived, where they melted to after the raid and have not been quick to attribute the raid to any group.

The 31-year-old man celebrated Christmas with his partner in Kenya. When they were walking home, they were fired at. An armed man targeted his girlfriend Nancy to steal her mobile phone and her bag. The man intervened and was able to overpower the assailant. However, an accomplice came at the scene and shot the Belgian man. He was hit by several bullets and died on the way to hospital.

The guy was an ex paracommanda, lived in MBA since 2 years working as a security agent for an international security firm.

He was going out with a girlfriend in the eve when a group of armed men stopped the taxi and started fighting.

Both were shot. The local girlfriend survived and is in hospital.
