I am going next week Mtwapa also and will stay prestige apartments double room is 3000 kesh including breakfast. I read somewhere before on this forum this place clean, safe and GF. So just have a look.

There is nothing useless about them.

Honestly just because a few of you seem to write in the board over and over again makes you the owners of the board?

And there is not ONE Report of Distinction for Mombasa that isn't 3 or 4 years old!!

Rather than criticize I am perplexed why those same key strokes can't be used to answer a few of the questions.

And low and behold I am getting PM's with answers. So despite the naysayers on the board I will create a one stop shop Report of Distinction for Mombasa.

Not to sound rude, but you need to tone down and accept that misleading information is not cool. If someone told you that maximum allowed in an ATM per transaction is Kshs 10,000 instead of Kshs 50,000 or Kshs 40,000, I can see how that can affect someone's planning / logistics. Old reports are easy to go back to for those who wish for those. I am not in Mombasa right now but I would really encourage those of us that are there to give us the updates. I liked the one that said something about the in-roads being upgraded in Mtwapa etc. It helps to hear that Bella Vista looked deserted, but Casuarina is still the same pussy galore it ever was. That helps a lot.

There are many pages of advice here in th forum including a reports of distinction. Just RTFF. If you want everything on a silver plate, google for Major Grubert and spend a few bucks.

I've decided to take the plunge and go to Mombasa for some mongering. I have a want to be in a place where DD's, E and maybe even F cup breasts are common. So I figured Africa is the place to go.

I have RTFF and unfortunately there is no one Report of Distinction that will help newbies come to Mombasa and have a good time. So to all the guys that have traveled to Kenya lets pool our resources.

And answer the following questions for us all (including me). I will then put together all the answers and write up a very good Report of Distinction for everyone. I can assure you I will provide a detailed report of my trip with photos as I always do.

1. Can you still buy a Visa on arrival? I am flying into Nairobi and then going to fly to Mombasa. Has anyone noticed it is much cheaper to fly to Nairobi from the USA than to Mombasa?

2. Phone service. Can you buy a SIM card with a data plan at the airport? Can someone give an idea how much phone service is to start?

3. For MONGERING purposes where is best to stay and why? Mtwapa or Mombasa?

4. Name three hotels that are recommended. Security is paramount as well as $50 USD or less per day.

5. How secure are valuables (laptop etc) in these hotels?

6. Beaches-name two worth visiting that have working girls there.

7. I have seen mentions of a shopping mall in Mombasa. Anymore details about this mall?.

Top Villa hotel is lying 150 meters from main road and is very dark, it is in the far end off Mtwapa, just got from Mtwapa and there where no guest there, so go to Creek Villa apartments or new Jumbo.

However, if I look on the map it seems Creek Villa Apartments is also quite far from the main road.

And if the road to Creek V. Is the same as the road to Moorings restaurant it is quite dark and not busy in the nights.

IMHO. note from the past should remain in the past as it no relevant anymore.

ATM allows more then 25000 per transaction now so reposting old stuff is misleading.

Written by me back from my one month stay late June 2013! NOT EDITED.

"! Its raining dogs and cats here in Mombasa!

The locals have told me this rainy season is heavier than normal.

The problem is compounded with the road conditions: lots of water and mud everywhere.

If you also want sun and beach then forget it I recommend you postpone till August. Depressing dark skies. It's been raining everyday and night!

But like I said it's a monger's market.

I haven't donated more than 1000 per full night of companionship.

I had a lovely nubian tall girl came to see me all the way from South cost I gave her a bit more. She was brave enough to bare the horrible rain on the long trip and was just a wonderful human being. A college graduate who can't find employment among the other 16 million young unemloyed.

My pickypicky (moto) driver had a 20 yrs old contact me offering companionship. I told him not interested in Mtwapa girls. The point for you is ask drivers, but make a clear agreement on who gets what. Dictate the donations it's your market.

Had an indian girl on tagged ask me for 3000 right from the beginning. Her foto is nice and her voice on the phone was of a young woman. But I declined. Too pricy and based on my previous experiences: more money usually means starfish.

My driver told me to meet Arab girls go to "Pirates" Can someone share their experience from "Pirates"?

For newbies:

Mtwapa for Kenyans=sin city=working girl town=boys town. Point is if you talk to normal girls outside Mtwapa be prepared for suspicion when they know where you stay.

People: Poor but seem happy, relaxed and at peace with each other. Very approachable and willing to help. Fitting with the attitude of coastal area inhabitants.

Only negative thing for me and it's a huge one: personal hygiene! !!

Even the ladies. I can't stand it most have strong manly BO.

ATM: If you have visa card then you are king and you have your pick from the ATMs. Master Card holders have fewer options. Try to get a visa debit card from your bank.

Most ATM allow maximum of.

10,000 Ksh per transaction.

This guy has been a great source of information for a lot of you guys thinking about going to Mombasa. I like your information because it appeals to my lifestyle when it comes to mongering. Keep it up brother. Even though I'm not going to Mombasa anytime soon since I've made up my mind to go to Ukraine and Madagascar, I find your information so helpful and so spot on that I decided to copy and paste some of your details in my Mombasa notes for the future.

I'm assuming you're not in Kenya anymore I think you said a while back you were in Europe so what is your next destination and have you considered Ukraine and Russian?

Keep up the good work especially when it comes to information for long-term Mongoring.

Thank you mate so much for your reply! I am coming to Kenya for a first time after 10 days and don't know anything, so just try to find a not expensive safe place to stay. I think I will stay at that hotel which you recommend. How about safety of this hotel? How do you protect your belongings in room? Can you give me some more advice which can help at my trip. Where best to find girls to the first time monger at Kenya like me.

Anyone of you gentlemen has ever stayed in the Topville Hotel in Mtwapa & wants to give a review?

At the moment they are offering rooms for 13.5 euro per night.

The hotel seems to be right at the main road.
