Posts: 132Mombasa has a North and south coast, you probably best off on North. Mtwapa is on North coast. What is your budget? I say stay at Sai rock apartments, make sure you stay in apartments and not hotel rooms. It is on Bamburi beach, approx $50 a night, barter the price they may start off $70-80. It is centrally located, Mombasa only has 1 real road and runs parallel to the beach. Getting women in is no probs as long as they have ID. Mtwapa is 5-10 minutes up the road by car. Mtwapa is bustling through the day and has a lot of bars at night but only place worth going is Casarinhas. 5-10 minutes the other direction from Sai roack apartments in the Nakumatt supermarket, 2 good bars here worth a visit too. Cheers bar is right outside Sai rock apartments and you get women here too and at big tree on the beach 100 yards away.
I checked the Sai Rock on Tripadvisor and it said, the guy had problems when checking out with the extras he had to pay for the WG's (mainly breakfast and pool use). So as I'm planning to get 2 or more WG's a night this might be a problem.
My budget is about US200 per night for a decent place with a private pool. With a private pool, I mean only me using it with the WG's and fucking in the pool etc.
I live a normal life, but I like to kick it when I monger.

Posts: 546After RTFF here I have 3 questions:
1) I like to party and dance, I like to get drunk and do 3 and 4 some, I like hard sex and anal. So. The Question is Mombasa or Mtwapa?
2) Which Hotels in Mombasa or Mtwapa are green? Or do you recommend Apartments? If yes, which do you recommend? I prefer Apartments and Junior Suits.

3) I have bad experience with addicted WG's. Do the WG's in Mombasa or Mtwapa take drugs or are addicted to drugs?
Drugs are rare in Mombasa, they can't afford them in general.

Hi,
I am planning to visit Kenya next week for business and stay 2-3 days longer either in Mombassa or Mtwapa. As this is a short time plan, I can't do my homework here, but I read back 10 pages on this forum. Are the reports a little outdated or is this just my impression?
I have mongered worldwide and I am not the scared type, I've been to Brazil and Ethiopia among many other countries in which I have mongered, I love my mongering trips to be adventures but safe.
After RTFF here I have 3 questions:

Thanks for your replies a full detailed report will follow.

Hi,
How is the situation with the (corrupt) police? At the moment I hear storys that there should be a lot of cons of girls working together with the police, especially in Mtwapa. Mainly because there are not so many tourists anymore like in the past and so less tourist-money. Did you experience incidents? I've been to Mombasa north coast many times, with one exception, I didn't have any problems.

The other option for you might be to stay on Bamburi Beach. I don't really know Whitesands, but girls told me that they won't be allowed to enter for the night with hotel guests. On the other hand I was told by a guy staying there that he had no problems bringing in girls when he was bribing the security. I don't really know the truth about it, but I wouldn't risk staying there. Rather check out Pa Pweza and Cowrie Shell. Both are apartments are on Bamburi Beach, they are girl friendly and might suite your taste. The infrastructure around them in terms of supermarkets and restaurants are not as good as in Nyali (IMO), but there for you are right on the beach.
For me, I'm planning to stay in Mtwapa the next time. I'm aware it's a totally different story than Nyali, but I love to be in the middle of the action! I already know the most common places there to stay due to RTFF and other recommendations. However, if anybody has an insider's tip where to stay, then I would be most grateful!? I'm willing to spend up to 5.000 KES a night, a pool would be nice and gym nearby would be favorable.
Many thanks!

The police has already captured the culprits. Involved are staff of the villa complex as they gave tips to the gangsters namely that it was the last night the Italian doctor and her parents were staying in Kenya.
The first day and the last day are the most dangerous, so never give advice when you come or go. The askaris where also inactive which suggest collusion with the gangsters. So it was quite easy for.
The police to make pressure on the staff to release the name of the gangster boss.
This doctor and her followers where real and engaged benefactors to the poors namely orphans. But doing good to the ones you deceive others. There is often a lot of envy and acrimony of people that think.
Also be worth of being beneficiary of charity but are not considered because there are so many people in need. Many low earners in Kenya would make everything to have there young children attending an.
NGO school as they are much better than the government ones. So the motivation of the staff could not be only greed but also envy and hate for the doctor because their families where not taken in the NGO program.
A couple of days before the crime the doctor had bought a milk cow with all her money she had left to feed the children of the orphans school healthily. This may have enraged the staff which wanted also their share.
Of the cake. Often relatives, girlfriends and friends are the enemy and are in collusion with the gangsters to perpetrate robberies.
As Neddy69 says the most important is low profile, for KS 10000 they don't arrange a full scale attack with well armed gangsters in premises.
