Suggest you pre-book a hotel for for the first 1 or 2 days (like Kahama) and make a deal with a cab driver to take you around to all the rental appartments in whichever area you like. There are lots of them all over the place, especially in North Nyali, many of them quite upscale, but you're not going to like the asking prices. However : everything is negotiable.
