The performance of girls for sex are not dependent on the land, or of the person. A stay in Kenya or Thailand. You will be much the same amount of non-need money.

Funny, I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap Mombasa is. Admittedly, when I travel it can be for several months and I live quite frugally. But living reasonably well in Mtwapa, my expenses panned out as follows:

2 bed apartment in Mtwapa. 2000 KES.

Food and drink. 2000.

Transport / taxis to Bamburi etc. 1000.

Female entertainment. 1000-2000 per day.

Totals out at about 6000-7000 KES a day or in sterling (my home currency) about £40-50. I know it is possible to live in Pattaya for a similar amount although one, of course, would have to restrict mongering to perhaps a daily trip to Beach Road to enjoy the dubious delights found there.

i can absolutely gaurantee you, thailand is far cheaper than kenya, mombasa, in all departments. you have misguided yourself. perhaps you enjoy upmarket accomodation in thailand? there is not much accomodation under the $50 a day mark in mombasa, the girls are slightly dearer, again, depending on your preferences. in thailand accomodation can be had for $15 and less per day, minus bangkok. transportation must also be taken into account when in mombasa, getting about in the late hours of darkness can be an issue, do not forget this, perhaps things have improved on this front in the last two years, others can elaborate.

food wise, mombasa is a real let down however.

let me first state for the record that i have never been to non-bangkok thailand.

but i do believe that there are some points to be quibbled with regarding noddy's assessment of costs in mombasa.

if noddy is referring to mombasa the city and not to surrounding environs, he may well be right about lodging.

but if one is willing to spread out north to mtwapa, just 30 minutes north by matatu with heavy traffic and 15 minutes without, clean lodging can be had for between 1000 and 2000 shillings a day. and, in my view, the experience is far less touristy and, therefore, far more desirable. (but that is not the point here).

and i had some wonderful culinary experiences in mtwapa as well as in mombasa: local cuisine and indian food respectively and quite reasonable (500-700 shillings for superb, abundant and straightforward indian food in mombasa town and nyoma choma with spinach and ugali [sic? ] in mtwapa, for example).

when i did pay for a girl in mombasa i never paid more than 1000 shillings. (please, no flaming about stinginess, blah blah blah. also not the point here).

bring a laptop, spend 1000 shillings a week for unlimited usb high-speed wireless access from orange, and your entertainment needs are taken care of.

quite cheap, in my view.

@Hotzo: I can only agree with Noddy. I come to Thailand on a regular basis (stationed not far from there) and no way Kenya is cheaper on a general basis. If you stay in a descend place in Kenya (fridge, fan, clean, comfortable bed.) you pay at least double for it than compared to same standard in Thailand (say Pattaya, Phuket). Food is much cheaper in Thailand (and better IMHO) and the chicks generally cheaper on a longer term basis. In addition, mongering and hunting is sooo much easier since the business is much more obvious. The one and only reason I currently prefer Kenya for my monger destination is the challenge of something new and the fact that I'm getting real bored of mostly skinny and flat sisters. A good wide ass with solid legs and juicy tits is something I dream of. In addition, African women know how to please a man if they want to, Asians still lack that sex drive. But looking at numbers only, Thailand is to prefer.

Thanks to you guys I spent hours of my time within the Nairobi and Mombasa forums and as far as I could oversee, staying in Mombasa will be cheaper than staying in Thailand (if I calculate accomodation and also the girls for 4 weeks in total).

Less popular is better.

More expensive may be much cheaper.

Security is en issue so its better to pay more in order to reduce the risk of loosing your belongings.

Ladies and police is the second risk. If a girl can't show I'd, send her away as fast as you can.

Kilifi court are very often visited by smart mzungus.

Things are chances so we need to adopt accordingly.

I would not profess to be an authority source on the mongering scene in Mombasa, but it is a destination that I very much enjoy. on a more serious note, hebiscus appeared to me to be a bit of a dive when i was poking about in mtwapa. lots of debris rep001tered about the grounds and a plethora of fat, red, loud germans. but in all fairness, i did not stay there.

check out merry villa when you get there. girl-friendly, central, clean, spacious, kitchen. i paid 1800 a night for a ground-level flat. no complaints. fucked the girl across the hall, too.

Also planning a trip to Mombasa this year and staying in the Kahama. As I live in the middle of Europe, I will take a last minute trip to either Thailand or Kenya. Outside of the main season it is possible to get a short notice trip from Frankfurt to Mombasa for less than 400- Euro, same for a trip to Bangkok. Hopefully the last minute agencies offer a trip to Mombasa because I never was there and I'd like to try the dark beauties.

Hi there: Let us know how the Western Union transfer went.

I sent money by Western Union (enough to cover the first few days) because after a long flight from Asia I didn't want to be running around looking for accomodation.

It was no problem at all. I sent the money then I sent them an email asking for confirmation and 4 hours later I received confirmation from the Kahama with an attached receipt. I was a little uncomforatable sending money as you send it to their cashier so I only sent enough for the first few days. I will pay the balance when I get there.
