Exactly. I have everything within a mile radius. Plus endless entertainment 24/7. Wazungu being murdered, ripped off, lied to, jailed, drugged. Drama every day. They should make an epic TV documentary. Mtwapa the city which never sleeps. Everybody is living there. From destitute scots, drunkards of various nations on minimum pension, millionaires, tax evaders, retired mafia dons (no kidding), fugitives of all kinds, child molesters, retired somali pirates, child support evaders. How I know it. I know them all. I listen. But I never speak. You name it Mtwapa has it. The highlight is everyday the expat coffee meeting where unbelievable stories are swapped. (All true of course). Just read the Daily Nation. Its Africa. On the way up posta road (now paved) you pick up pussy at random for a quick relaxation. At nightfall you head up to chew fresh miraa or smoke natural herbs then head to legends for sweet Congolese life Soukouss or Rhumba. After that to Naiz for a couple of ice cold tuskers looking at some red hot dressed chicas. Later to AR Casuarina enjoying the show and listen to sweet bongo tunes from Tanzania.

    Neddy.

    Who misses Mtwapa dearly.

    Postal Road

When I was in Mwtapa, I was hanging around Postal Road cafes and bars all the time. So seemed to be many other musungus. So better take hotel somewhere there if somebody goes to Mwtapa. Then you can just walk around, no need for motobike taxis.

    Prestige Leisure Mtwapa

Unfortunately a new mosque has started operating just next door, with even louder speakers.

Besides the already extremely noisy hallelujah churches around.

    Prestige Leisure Mtwapa

My Recommendation is Prestige Leisure in Mtwapa.

When you contact the Owner directly (you can contact me through PM for his Number) you get a big Apartment for 2500 Ksh.

Smaller and cheaper Rooms are also available.

The Location is good. But the standard is a bit lower, some would say run down, but I liked it. But the Rooms are big, the people are nice, the service is good. You have Internet, warm water.

You have two pools and Restaurant on the possession. What else do you want?

Girlfriendly 100% as long as they have ID.

Everything close and BodaBodas are always waiting for you outside.

I've decided not to stay in Mtwapa dust since I'm spending some weeks in rural Africa before Mombasa. Also, I'm heading to Diani after north coast so that's not an option.

    My criterion:

    - relatively safe area to walk around daytime.

    - pharmacies, money exchanges, other basic services nearby.

    - relatively easy access to restaurants, beach bars, lounges, etc.

    - 30-100 USD per night (price-quality ratio matters more than the price itself).

According to local news Jomo Kenyatta beach is still closed to public. Does it make beach area completely dead? Would it make sense to stay near Nyali malls or further north the coast around Bamburi? I've got an impression that some normally lively places can be deserted because of covid. Which area is the place to be right now? Any help is highly appreciated!

By the way if anyone is around in Nov-Dec let me know.
I used always stay in Big Tree in Bamburi beach, I did that also in January-February this year. Then I got tired of travelling from Mwtapa at last minute before curfew started, with crazy motobike taxi, scaring for my life. Usually with a girl who was just browsing her phone, not scared at all, although we went so far that we passed all the cars.

So I moved to Mwtapa and I was happy there. In Mwtapa there are some places which are open still when other bars close, illegally.

You could go Nyali also, but where to walk there? In shopping center and in beach? There are places also in Nyali that are open whole night, but not as good for mongering. In Nyali there are Moonshine and Hypnotica, if you are looking for girl friend (and some working girls also).

If you are looking for bad girls (which I thing as good girls), go to Mwtapa, it is more simple there.

By the way, what I have understood, afternoon places are still Big Tree and Cheers (close to each others), that is where some Mwtapa girls went when I asked them. And for Bamburi girls those places are near.

    My criterion:

Relatively safe area to walk around daytime = all areas are safe in daylight hours away from one or two on Mombasa island where you won't be anyways.

Pharmacies, money exchanges, other basic services nearby. = pretty much everywhere.

Relatively easy access to restaurants, beach bars, lounges, etc. = Mtwapa, Bamburi, Nyali all have this. Each one is only a few $ away from each other by uber. I always stay on Bamburi beach as it is central for all of them.

30-100 USD per night (price-quality ratio matters more than the price itself). = Too many options to name.

According to local news Jomo Kenyatta beach is still closed to public = Yes, could well change by Nov as locals have met MPs to get it reopened just yesterday.

Does it make beach area completely dead? = Currently yes it very quiet.

The problem I have with Nyali. You need transport. Everything is spread out.

Mtwapa. There's only one way to find out. Go there. I like convenience. In Mtwapa I can do everything by walking.

Including picking up pussy while I do my shopping. LOL.

This is very welcome news ZimZam. Thank you for posting. I just applied for my eVisa yesterday and am hoping to travel to the coast within a couple of weeks.

    Cheers.

Now the bars etc are allowed to continue until 9 in the evening.

This year most days Big Tree had more staff than guests. There is competition by the Club Tisa 10 minutes away. Soda 150 plus transport is too much for a girl to site there and hope a muzungu comes.

    Excellent news ZimZam.

I hope to return to the area in the next weeks. It is good to hear of signs of renewed life in that dusty, little paradise!!

Maybe Big Tree can become the new 'day time' version of Casuarina's until the bar hours are extended in the evening?

    Cheers.
Good news indeed. I think Big Tree already is day time version of Casarina, and it has been already many years, together with Cheers. When I asked from Mwtapa hard working girls where they had been in daytime, often they told me that they had been in Big Tree and Cheers, also this year. And for Bamburi girls it is near.

    Big Tree Renovation

Also the ramshackle gents change cabin, which only had a few remnants of a curtain left, has been replaced with a mobile toilet, but that doesn't really provide a pleasant place to change your clothing.

    Case study

Go out and visit Casuarina, chat up a Girl and bee as nice as you can. Flirt with her, buy her some drinks and bee the king on the dance floor with her. She sure will love it, appreciate it.

Then screw her in any style you like it. Etc.

Soon after the deed try to send her home with the money for a lollipop for her son.

The doc will eventually study your case.

You got to meet the girls expectations in you and in some Counties in Africa you can mostly easy do so. But some girls just give a shit on you for any money.

Besides they like sex as everywhere.

    Tinte / black ink.
