I ran into the same problem at Maggies last night. Did anyone have any luck at some of the other places mentioned frequently in this forum like Hollywood or were they all vacant?

Maggies was completely deserted last night - no Mongolians at all, only the Chinese bar maids. I guess this is due to tight security in connection with the Sino-African summit.

Any idea, whether the Mongolians can be met at other places this week-end? Would be sad if I had to leave Beijing without meeting the Golden Horde.

Wearing a pin makes it too obvious.

Last evening while having our weekly Shanghai Gang members meeting, I stuck with an ideal! Money Clip! I noticed that a lot of us especial from America are using Money Clip. This is something that the locals do not use. Perhaps an ISG Money Clip would be great especially when it is not too open and we can keep it to the last minute to flash it to the opposite person if we suspect that the other person is an ISG monger?

Money Clip is relatively inexpansive and can be locally made!

Hey, great idea. A small pin, maybe no bigger than a U.S. dime would be pretty cool. I am usually on the hunt alone as my business brings me to China solo most trips. It would be fun to spot another monger in Maggie’s or Hollywood. The problem might be however that everyone will have the pins, they'll become a fashion statement, astute Chinese entrepreneurs will knock them off and our whole plan will soon be useless!

It seems that most countries have little lapel pins with their national flag on it. I propose we standardize on the national lapel pin, worn on a shirt or jacket on the left side.

Well, Grasshopper, my suggestion is do some homework, put up some posts, and earn your Senior status so that you can come and play with the big boys, no pins, no passwords, just good old fashioned privacy.

Regular to LOS but thought I'd comment on this. ISG is a virtual world and for many members, they prefer anonymity and not cross over to the real world. While many do get together, others prefer not to reveal their real life identities...

As far as use of PM, i thought if you are a paid subscriber, you have full access and don't need to wait to become senior. ISG is well worth the small subscription fee that Jackson charges.....

OAH, extremely sorry to miss you during your visit this week. Looks like I missed a good night at Maggie's--would have met not only you but also Bad Boy Billy. Oh well, next time.

Regarding identifying ourselves as ISG members, that would be exceptionally unwise beyond the most obvious reasons. First of all, Sammy and I both know that our screen names and real identities are known to at least one of the Maggie's regulars. I've never had a problem with a girl blowing someone's cover, nor have I heard of one, but never say never.

Also, there are way too many civilians and slummers passing through St. Margaret's, especially on weekends. Maggie's is already the worst-kept, worst-kept secret in Beijing. The last thing we need is having some drunken civilian Whiskey Tango on a girls' night figure out that we belong to some kind of community/cult and we'd be seriously hosed.

I've been in Beijing for a couple of days. I must be in a slump. I've done 4 girls (1 freebie), none of which were better than just average.

First one was a Uzbek (sp?) out of Hollywood. I'd never done one and wanted to try. Same as the Russians really, highly professional, clinical and mechanical. She gave me some bullshit about just taking a shower and didn't need another. 800 RMB standard fare for ST.

Second was a Mongolian out of Maggies. She was very pleasant and sweet in the bar. Got her back to the room and she refused to shower with me. Just washed my back from outside of the tub. She gets in bed and says she wants 900 ST. I told her it was 600 ST / 800 LT and she agreed, but the service was rushed from that point on. It was the first time in over 50 Mongolians that I have to say the service was not exceptional. Too much teeth in the BBBJ and asked if I had enough after less than 5 minutes. To cut a long story short,she jumped up and got dressed nearly immediately after I popped and said she was on the way back to Maggies since my 600 RMB contribution was not adequate for a night's work.

Third was a Harbin girl out of the Pig. I called her for an afternoon session and she showed up in about 45 minutes. We had agreed on 500 ST on the phone, but she asks for 600 RMB just after walking through the door. I reluctantly agreed. Things got off to a good start with a reasonable BBBJ followed by CFS. After about 10 minutes of fucking, she started to get antsy about me not popping yet. Started complaining about the size and that I was lasting too long. I did her another 15-20 minutes and popped. She cleaned me up, took a shower, trashed the bathroom and split. Why do so many girls not know how to use a shower curtain and throw shit all over the place after they use it in the bathroom?

After 3 strikes, I am getting a bit depressed. I've spent 2,000 RMB; am not happy and thinking I could do 10+ girls in S. China for the same money. Is something wrong with me?

I had met another Harbin girl in Starbucks at the New World and taken her for a foot massage nearby the day before. Called and we hooked up. This is always a dilemma for me since she is in her mid thirties and not that attractive when compared with P4P. Anyway, to make another long story short, I spent the whole night trying to get her to come back to my hotel and when I was finally successful, the sex was disappointing. However, she did wake me up in the morning with a BBBJCIM. The downside is she is already clinging after only one night, texting me constantly. I changed hotels today so at least I cannot be found if I don't want to be.

I have not been following the Thailand board, but I can see that someone might try to make trouble for us by pretending they are one of us. Perhaps even law enforcement. I was just looking for a way for us to recgonize each other. Needless to say I am not going to walk up to every random guy I see in a bar (the Pig at 10 pm on a weeknight might have 30 guys in it), and use my code phrase, but I might use it to the guy sitting on the bar stool next to me.

While the PM sysem is a good way for us to hook up, it seems that a lot of the time I go out at the last minute. I am certain there have been times when I have been in the Pig with either Sid or Lao Ma, but I could not pick them out of a line up. The few times I have tried to organize group meetings here in Beijing they never happen. I think many of us just sneak away when we have a chance.

No big deal, but if you do happen to run into a guy in the Pig with a USA/China lapel pin on his jacket introduce yourself. I might just by you a beer

Not sure how many Beijinger's follow the Thailand board, but in light of the recent PDFfile incident, there was at least one newspaper which quoted the conversation between a few members from this site.
All I am saying is whilst it would be nice to meet other brothers, just be aware that there are a certain amount of "do-gooders" out there who make their living from ruining those of others.

The phrase works if you are already chatting with someone, but it does not help to recognize others that may be across the bar.

I like the idea of using a common item (like the Beijing Olympics' pin) worn in a specific location. This can be spotted from across the room, and then we can use the recognition phrase to confirm if the guy is a brother or not. It would be nice if we can find a universal item that all WSG guys could wear. Something that is available worldwide. That way when we travel outside of China we can recognize other brothers too.
