Okay, so the other night I was driving around, felt a little horny decided to just drive down DaYa Road and see what was happening. In my experience, the risk of a scam is high and really not worth it. Usually what happens is the guy on the scooter will direct you to a shady hotel and say he'll bring you a girl from one of the many KTVs on Da Ya Road. You pay 500 at the front desk and go up to wait in a room. Then the girl comes and you pick and choose as usual.

The problem is that the girls take a long time to come, especially the 2nd. 3rd, and so on. Now granted, I've had good experiences where the girl was a solid 8. But I've also had a few experiences where the girl was pretty bad so I requested a change, and the subsequent girls took about 15-20 minutes to come. The pimp also gets impatient because he has to wait downstairs until you're done. In the end, I felt like he was deliberately making me wait so long for the girls so I would hurry up and pick one despite their quality being subpar. A little bit of a scam.
