You have confirmed my impression from my first (and probably, last) visit about Aphrodite. As you say Stix is better but I'm not too keen on that either. I've only been a few times with a client whose office is in the block adjacent to Park Lane. Last time I went there were a couple of realy excellent girls (but only 2) but I was with a girl and couldn't do anything about it.

I find it nowhere near as good as 30 bar - anybody been there since it re-openned?

Don't waste a week! Even during Ramadhan you can still find action, though it is somewhat limited, but afterwards: no problem, it's certainly not "severely limited". There are so many opportunities that a marginal reduction along the lines you say, even if you noticed it, would still leave you with more choice than you can cope with.

I`m planning a Nov. trip to Jakarta and was going to arrive the 4th (Ramadan is supposed to end the 3rd I think). I have heard that even though the holiday is over, action is severly limited for aprox. a week after because the girls are at home with their families. Will I OK if I arrive as planned, or should I spend a week in LOS first and arrive later? Thanks for your help.

I visited Emporivm last night. I took 2 pictures yesterday. 8 PRC in transparant white panties and tank tops joined the crowd in the pool at 6.30 p.m. - 7.30 p.m. in 4 to 4 team. I took the first 3 pictures few weeks ago.

I still have a lot picture collection. Maybe I should post them. But I still have to locate them.

By far Jakarta, concerning the girls. Need I say more if, with the Chinese girls, the Indonesian girls are the most wanted in KL? Besides, the police in KL very often raid the mongering places.

I can not compare the prices of the 5-star hotels, but I know, that in Jakarta you can get better hotels for US $ 30.

KL is cleaner and nicer, of course, but hotel costs seemed the same or maybe a bit cheaper in JKT. Girls are a mile apart. Go to Jakarta!

Perhaps predictably, Frankfurter, I have to say JKT wins hands down as far as girls are concerned. You can get everything you mention (and more) more easily and cheaper in Jakarta. Like for like hotels in KL are somewhat cheaper, but its marginal. As for food, well I don't have much time for that, but think Jakarta is similar price/quality. Another point you don't mention, is that there is never a problem getting a girl into your hotel in Jakarta, whereas I've had that problem in KL. In fact I think, technically, you can be arrested in KL if you're not married to her?!

Need advise from all you insiders:

I usually stay for two month in Thailand and Cambodia during late June/July early August. This time I like to explore EITHER KL (because of the modern architecture, really, no kidding!) or Jakarta.

In your opinion, which of the two has:

- the best attitude, most open, "slutty" performers, BBBJ, assfuck
- lowest cost for mongering
- best food
- cheapest hotels

Menteng, sounds like the same one, it's in Jl Rasuna Said, not far from Mulia in Kuningan. As I mentioned, I wouldn't particularly recommend it for picking up girls, I was just lucky with the one I posted I think. In fact that same girl (as is often the case) can also be found in Jalan Jaksa later in the night (unless of course, someone has already picked her up)

One more comment. Although I feel Aphrodite is not a good place to meet girls, I've said before that you can meet girls absolutely anywhere in Jakarta. That girl Bulai posted from Aphrodite is not bad at all. But I would not expect to find girls at Aphrodite on a consistant basis. Most of the time, I walk in, see that there is nothing there, and walk out.

A better place to go would be Park Lane hotel in the bar Styx. It's close to Aphrodite and almost always has at least one decent girl there.

Aphrodite is close to Taman Rasuna. I find it to be one of the worst spots in Jakarta to meet girls. The bules usually outnumber the girls 10 to 1. But people normally don't go there to meet girls anyway. It's mainly a spot for businessmen to hang out after office hours for a few beers.

When I arrived after my usual 30 hour trip a couple of weeks ago I was very irritated to find 30 Bar closed - I always stay at Meridien and on my first night the easy option is to go down there and get something for the night.

It should have re-opened by now - anyone been yet?

So I tried an alternative - Aphrodite, which I'd never been to and which I've never seen anyone write about in here. It was voted No 1 in Jakarta Kini for what it's worth. Anyway I was highly unimpressed, very few decent girls in there who were out numbered by bules and other men from various places. After a few minutes I did spot one girl who was way ahead of the others so I observed for a while thinking she must be with someone. After watching and listing to a few incredibly crass approaches I though "sod it" and just asked back to my hotel and she said "OK".

She was a stunning performer and great looking - I think she hangs out in Aphrodite quite often judging by the number of people she knew in there. Highly recommended and good value!
