Don't go with the SW/BBS girls unless your Chinese is good and you know what you are doing. If you are with a bunch of freinds go to the KTV and tell the mommy what kind of girl you want. Have a good time then you can take the girl back to your room. You can basically can trust them. Just don't leave money or anythihing too tempting around.

If you are alone or with one freind then go to the sauna. Tell the manager what you want. Have a massage and more.

Some Chinese girls prefer foreigners and some don't. Of course it's the money!

Have a good time at CP, DG. Lion Hotel is relatively safe. It is difficult to define the "best". Generally speaking, KTV gals charge 2,5,8 or 2,6, 10 in DG, plus cost of drinks at KTV. Sauna costs 300 to 400, plus a room fee of 150 - 200. SW/BBS is the cheapest, from 150 to 300 ST or 500 over night. Quality wise, SW/BBS girls are of the lowest, but occasionally, you can find real gems, like those fresh from the countryside. Sauna offers escellent service, if you like a 360 tongue bath. KTV provides more fun, if you have a big group. Enjoy

Should it be from the hotel's sauna, the hotel's KTV or from SW/BBS?

Girls from KTV, are they trust worthy? I mean do they drug you and empty you flat, I mean your money not your didi's liquid.

From most of the posting I referred here, china gals like foreigners cause they are big and strong or they have plenty of $$$? I'm an asian chinese and I would not know whether I will get playful chicks like what I've read here.

I'm posting this on the GZ board too. I know the train goes RT from GZ-DG(changping?) but from the train schedule the last train leaves GZ at 8:20PM, then I'd have to take a taxi back, which is OK. I won't be free from my business commitments until after 9PM. Is there another way to get to DG other than taxi / private car or earlier train? Is there a bus I could take, perhaps? I was planning on going down at night, hitting a couple saunas, then coming back early in the morning, in time to sleep a couple hours then go back to the fair. Does that seem reasonable?

Hello All -- I visited to Dongguan recently. We went to a KTV that had a distinctly Roman or Greek theme -sorry don't know the name, but sure someone here does. Anyways, attached a couple pix. I was a bit surpirsed at the wall paper theme which included an animal of some sorts attempting copulation with a human of some sorts. Luckily to say, the KTV hostesses were far more attractive yet retained their animal personality in (and out) of the KTV.

Take out was arranged for a very nominal (sub 1000) tip. Lots of girls from Sichuan here

I am coming for the Canton Fair and has been debating to stay in Dongguan or Guangdong.

For the convenience of actions and price, which area is better to stay? A little bit comparison is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You could consider Shilong. That is exactly 1 train stop away from the GZ-SZ train line. A train to GZ takes about 20 minutes and costs rmb 35.00

I stayed last time in the Royal Garden Hotel > http://www.geocities.com/rghotelcn/ for rmb200 or so. The hotel is a bit dull, but the massage service was always FS for rmb 250 or so.

But you could consider any place along the train line. Zhangmuktou and Zhangping have also great night life. Zhangping is probably THE brothel city in GD.

Hi All,

Been a while since I last posted. Busy with work, but I managed to take time out to sneak away for quickies. But sad to say, the last 2 occasions were not exactly satisfactory. Tried 2 BBS shops, different from the shops that I usually go to and to my absolute horror, both shops have upstairs rooms which were real crappy, with wooden floorboards, a curtain in place of a door, no toilet, the whole works if you know what I mean.

And that is only the rooms; the girls (1 from Hunan & 1 from Hubei) on both occasions gave a dead-fish experience. One even had a stinky fish smell down below. Put new definition to the meaning of "dead-fish". It almost put me off the whole thing. Had to force myself to do it commando-style - (fast insertions, strike fast & hard, fast extractions). I should have just opted for HJ at the BBS near the office instead. At least the girls there are accomodating and prettier, even if I don't get FS.

I think I am going to stick to my regular BBS haunts from now on. At least I know I can get satisfactory rooms and better service from the girls and the mamasan.

Gotta rush and head back home before GF starts to suspect anything. Ciao, fellas!

I am going to the fair as well, and agree that Dongguan is much more of a bargain...

..but with that said, the nice five star hotels are also jacking up their prices as well. The more "well known" ones at least. No where near what the prices are in GZ, but be prepared to pay a little bit of a premium. (ie 25 percent or so). I have booked all my hotels through locals and even large companies with good ties to five star hotels are feeling a little heat, because the rooms are that full.

Also, depending on how much "work" you going to do in GZ. The ride to the fair aint cheap, and expect TONS of GZ traffic. Will probably cost you around 20 bucks US for a ride into GZ, IF you can find a taxi

But for mongering Dongguan can't be beat. Decision, decisions..

Stay in Dongguan. Thats what I am doing for the fair.

1. 5* hotels are 400+rmb and in Guangzhou your looking at 200usd. Shuttle ride to the show are available at some of the hotels or just take a taxi. (if you catch a guangzhou taxi it might cost you 50-100rmb ow).

2. Never party in Guangzhou but I am sure the action in Dongguan is much better (quality, quantity & pricing). I personally feel safer in Dongguan.
