Bayan Baru / Bayan Lepas have very few cheonging spots cause these areas are predominantly malay. Most of whom are not so sporting as to allow our fav hobby being carried on in their backyard.

I would appreciate any and all info about the best hotels in Penang, I really mean best deal close to the action to be specific. I'll be coming in 2 weeks from Vietnam. I have looked on this thread but can't seem to find anyone recommending anything.

Would probably suggest either Cititel or CityBayview along Penang road. You can check online for reservations.

Penang Road is right smack in the middle of the action, most within walking distance. Cititel has it's own hanky panky spa.I am assuming that you won't have your own transportation. Most of the taxi drivers and trishaw pullers will be more than happy to be your xxx guide. But please refer to past reports and you'll probably be able to find lots of the places on your own.Save $$$.

Beach hotels here don't have much to offer in terms of cheonging.

Check out Soho to the left of Cititel. If you are xxx savy you'll easily pick up a freelancer or at least a contact number for one. The rest of the xxx establishments in that area are ST fuck shops.

Again please refer to past posts for pricing and service to expect. Don't want you getting ripped off if are a foreigner.

Located behind Hong Leong bank. Search for UTon same row with car accessories shop. It's just the opposite and direction facing towards round about. Green sign board with Chinese character (dun understand). Equipped with CCTV. Hv to press the bell. Environment wise is OK. All Tom Yam masseurs. One chick age 20yo (by the name of Dear) kinda sexy n cute looking. Damage for massage for 40mins = RM25 and 'liak kin' for additional RM20. Watch for add on price; to release after 'liak kin' additional RM30 and 'auto roaming' for additional RM50. Tips additional RM10 before u leave. Anyway never release the explosive item as well as disabled the auto roaming feature due to ridiculous price! Not sure whether they provide full package or not as I never asked.

1. English is widely spoken.
2. Shopping in Penang is more than plentiful.
3. Mongering is reasonably good if you earn in RM and much better if u earn in Pounds. Basically its not the cheapest nor the greatest, but adequate to satisfy most discerning mongers.
4. Tourist Visa is fine, you may need to leave the country and take a short boat trip to medan or bus trip thailand for renewal, usually 3 months at a time but you can get it extended.

5. Apt rental is aprox RM600.00 for an average 700+ sq feet apartment condo, unfurnished and perhaps 900+ for furnished in a sensable area with beach frontage.

6. Beers are cheaper in coffee shops and privates clubs.

7. Life would be better then darn good if u can burn USD900 a month for food , mongering and stay if you don't act like an imported duke.

Being penang, Everyone knows someone who can get it cheaper and better. Careful who you believe and you will be darn fine.

I have just explored Angeles in Philippines as a possible alternative to Pattaya.

So I am wondering if Malaysia could suit my needs.
