Guys,

Tonight, while on business and away from home, I decided to go out to revisit a Midwestern US strip club. This is something I have not done for at least 3 years...maybe more.

I just wanted to compare what the US has to offer versus what is available in Monterrey. I knew things were bad here, but I just thought I would give it a try for old times sake...just to give our system here another chance. I wanted to see if I was remembering things as being really "all that bad."

I realize after having visited the club here tonight that I have become terribly SPOILED by my experiences in Monterrey. I realize now, more than ever, that lately I have been taking Monterrey for granted. I have become so accustomed to it, and I have visited it so often, that my appreciation for it has started to slip.

Those of us who go to Monterrey, or other venues like Thailand, Rio, Colombia, etc...We all need to spend 15 minutes in one of our US strip clubs just to keep everything in perspective.

I guess for some of the patrons of these clubs, ignorance is bliss. Because, I just can not imagine not being able to take advantage of the clubs in Monterrey,and being sentenced to a life of deprivation like what I saw tonight. It is soooooo unfortunate that many of our fellow countryman are forced to tolerate such non-sense. It is too bad because some of us do not have freedom and can not afford to travel away from home, and/or maybe some of us are tied down by work and family obligations. Whatever the reason...Que Lastima!!!

At this US club, it cost me a $5 cover charge just to get in the door. My Diet Coke was $2.50, and it was in a small glass with a lot of ice. Actually, without thinking, I ordered "Coke Light." Of course, the waitress looked at me real funny until I remembered where I was an corrected myself by quickly ordering Diet Coke instead...

Ordering "Coke Light" has become a force of habit I guess :-)

Anyway, I was totally disgusted with my experience tonight...This club is considered the best in town, and the one with the hottest girls. There were only about 10 girls in the place, and only three of those fit my criteria for being "HOT". In years past, I would have rated all these girls as being very beautiful(at least 8-10's), but now, I realize how spoiled I am. There were NO 9-10's, and only about (2) 8's, and maybe (1) 7.

Of course, all of the girls in the club were gringas. There were no Mexicanas, and certainly no flaca morenas. I didn't realize how attached and fond of the Mexicanas, and more specifically, the flaca morenas, I had become. Girls that would have normally been considered good looking gringas to me in the past, just do not appeal to me much any more. I am totally ruined...It just seems like even the medium level girls in Monterrey have more sex appeal than these girls I saw tonight.

I know the guys in there tonight would probably passionately argue that the girls were all 10's. These girls were all occupied by guys buying them drinks, and there was absolutely no touching, no kissing, no fondling, no nada...but all the male patrons were spending their money on drinks for the girls, and tucking dollar bills in their g-strings as they danced on stage. What a waste!!!! Such a pitty!!!

However, this was a nice high-end club, with plush decor. So, that was nice. But, even with the nice plush surroundings, I remember sitting there in my chair with my Diet Coke and thinking how really disgusted I was with the whole arrangment. I was beyond frustrated...I was almost depressed.

No chica sitting on my lap, no chica running her fingers through my hair and telling me how guapo I am, no chica rubbing in all the right places, no privados (unless you want to spend a fortune, and then you don't get anything for your money)...no sex, no salidas, no nothing...not even blue balls.

So, if you start to take your time in Monterrey for granted, just take a trip back to your old familiar US strip club, the one you used to visit in the old days, before you went to Monterrey. It is a great way to rejuvenate your appreciation for what is available in Monterrey, and it will be a pointed reminder of what we were missing when we were all less enlightened. It will also make you appreciate and pitty the way the "other half" is forced to live.

Sorry you didn't go to the Matehuala, sorry they told you all that crap, cause the Infinito, the Givenchy on the corner of the block where the Infiito is and the Matehuala are from the same owner.
So the setup is exactly the same at the Matehuala and the Infinito. Same prices, same 4 minutes 50 pesos privados, same for extras... et al.
(by the way, normal salida prices are 120 dlls, including bar fine... sorry about that)
And the Matehuala is as safe as the other clubs... that club is just a big urban legend.
Well, the girls have to make a living promoting their own stuff and working place.

Thanks Carlos for the advice. I made it to Monterrey and was impressed by the city. I took two years of Spanish in college and I can understand most of what anyone says in Spanish and can communicate my thoughts… although I am far from fluent.

Here are some points:

At the airport I got a Tourist Card good for 10 days (although I only stayed one day). It was no charge.

It took about 30 minutes from the Airport to my hotel … Plaza del Arco. I got a double room with TV .. comfortable, clean … $52. I made the reservation on Travelocity.com .. which was really convenient. There is an ATM machine in the bank next to Plaza del Arco. There is a cambio to change money a few blocks away.

At the airport they had two booths of people selling prepaid tickets to Monterrey… It cost me 200 pesos.. (although Lonely Planet claims a taxi from the airport to Monterrey should cost $130).

I walked around Zona Rosa enjoying the sights. Morelas avenue is closed off to cars and had thousands of shoppers. I ate at Plaza Mexico. The Zona Rosa has a lot of upscale places, cathedrals, parks, museums, and so forth. At night there was a rock band in the park.

I hooked up with a Taxi driver who took me to a massage place called “estasis” (??)… which was 250 pesos for blowjob and fuck.. but the massage table was really flimsy.. not an appealing environment. First they told me it was for 1 hour… but when I got in the room the chica said ½ hour.

The Taxi driver took me to Casablanca… there was only one chica there average looks… wanted $200 for an hour. I smelled tourist trap and left.

I told the taxi driver I wanted to go to Mataheula or Infinito and he told me I should go to Infinito because Mataheula was “muy peligroso”. So we sent to Infinito

Infinito bar had two big raised dance floors with lots of young chicas wiggling their pompis waiting to be picked up. I choose the chica that turned me on the most .. and took her to the second floor where they have the lap dance cubicles. The price is 50 pesos for 4 minutes. Every 4 minutes the time keeper would call the chicas name and she would have to signal another 4 minutes. She offered me sex for $30 which I happily accepted.

I wanted to take a chica to my room. The Taxi driver spotted the incredible hottie .. with a tight petite body… Indian features. I offered her a ladies drink ($5). She agreed to go out with me for $150 2 ½ hours plus $35 for bar fine. I accepted. The Taxi driver talked to the security man of the hotel who let us in.

I found Monterrey enjoyable and wouldn’t mind seeing more of the city as well as some more bars. The setup at Infinito is an excellent opportunity to sample lots of chicas in a short time… if I go back I think I will do that instead of spending it all on one chica. Also the first chica told me that Matahuela was dangerous and dirty… and she pointed out all the security guys who were walking around Infinito. She said she would go out with more for the entire day for $250. The Taxi driver was with me for about 6 to 7 hours and charged me $60.

The pocket rocket or a similar verson of same can be purchased at almost any adult novelty store. The store on Madero near Zaragosa has them in stock, but the name on it is called the "Private" brand. It is white in color, and cheaper made than the original pocket rocket, which is pink in color and widely distributed in the USA. I think pocket rocket also might possibly make a blue one too, but I am not sure.

I did not see the pocket rocket brand in the store on Madero. The Mexico "Private" brand sells for about 220 pesos. It is about 3.5" to 4" long and a cylindrical shape with three metal buttons on the end of the shaft for stimulation.

I am a terror with my pocket rocket. On my last trip to Monterrey, I had an absolute RIOT running all around town and assaulting the girls in the clubs with it. Actually, it is a really good ice breaker, and it always guarantees a lot of laughs. Of course, I also use it in the privacy of my own hotel room...not on me of course :-) but on my victims.

On my last night in town, after we had all split up and gone our seperate ways, I went over to Givenchy to find a nice bed warmer for the night.

As I was trying to enter Givenchy, I thought I had secured it in my belt, but I either dropped it in the street, or the bouncer actually took it off me without me even realizing he took it. I actually think he probably felt it behind my belt and lifted it because when I went looked around in the street to see if I had dropped it after being frisked, it was nowhere to be found.

Porker, as you stated, It is a good thing I am a professional dildo repairman, so I could repair the spare I had in my inventory for future use. Anyway, I am down to only one pocket rocket, that being the spare that I originally thought was broken. The problem is, the motor has started to wear down. Everybody needs to realize that most of the girls that come back to the room are potential problems after the session and it's sad when you mis-judge 'em because they can be great session partners. It is better to have pesos on hand. (Something you should do at TJ too)
The clubs accept dollars, but they'll give you the easy rate of 11 pesos per dollar or sometimes de quick one of 10 pesos per dollar.
You should exchange your money at a Casa de Cambio. they are open on Saturday, some even 24/7
Take in consideration that TJ is nowhere close to what Monterrey is... a world apart.

You're kidding... right? You are talking about the hotel that houses our President when he comes to Monterrey, rock artists, Mexican celebrities... take a wild guess if they are going to let you in with a perfect stranger that looks like a hooker.
If you want a high class hotel that will not ask questions, pick the Sheraton Ambassador at the downtown area.
Guaranteed... lots of guys have had girls from the clubs, no questions asked. They just want the room registered to 2 people.

Anyone know if the Quinta Real hotel is chica friendly?

I may be visiting MTY soon, staying at the Quinta and would like to know if I could bring a girl back or whether I have to stay at some other, more "accomodating" hotel for this. Although I really like the luxuries of the Quinta when on the company dollar.
