Hi all, I am new to this board as you can see. I have enjoyed reading youe many stories. I would also like to add that I am a Monterrery resident, like Carlos I would be glad to help you out. I am a Professional in engineering, so I am not offering to take your money just to make your stay here a good one. Again thanks for such a nice board to share our experiences.

After having posted about my recent poor experience in Monterrey, I feel compelled to also post regarding the good times. On this most recent trip, the first night in town, I went over to Infinito, and within 30 seconds of walking in the door, one of my girlfriends, a girl I had bar fined once before, saw me from across the room, came to me, and threw her arms open, and hugged and kissed me to death.

The first thing out of her mouth was, Vamous? When I said ok, she smiled, acted surprised, had a really big smile and said, Yes?, in way that could only be interpreted as her being genuinely happy. I said ok again, paid the bar fine while she was getting dressed, and away we went to Hotel Plaza Del Arco.

I had bar fined this girl once on the trip prior to my last trip, which would have been sometime in July. I remember I had asked her age at that time, and she told me she was 18 years old, and she just casually mentioned her birth date, not with the intent to receive regalos, but just in passing. I remembered her birth date because it was very close to my own, but with one very important distinction. She was born about 30 years after I was…hahahaha!!! Ain’t Life a Grand Mystery

Anyway, we had a nice GFE session, and when I returned home to the USA, it occurred to me that a particular morning was her birthday. She had given me her cell number, and as I was driving to work, I decided I would call her, and wish her a Happy Birthday. So, I called her number, but got her voice mail. She was probably already sleeping, or rolling around in bed with another client. But, I thought, what the hell, so I left a message in Spanish wishing her a Happy Birthday.

Big Deal, right…just a simple kind gesture, but I liked this girl’s attitude, so I figured I would show her that I liked her by remembering her birthday, and calling to tell her I hoped she would have a nice day. I did not realize the postive long term effects of that simple and easy gesture.

So, when I returned to Monterrey the next trip, I saw the girl again in Infinito. But, unfortunately, I was sitting with another girl, also a favorita of mine, and was only able to say hello, and tell her I was happy to see her. During that trip to Monterrey, I was preoccupied by being previously committed with other girls, or committed to bar hopping with my trip buddies, and I was never able to see her again. But, she made it known that she wanted to see me again, indicating that she liked me a lot, and that somehow I was special to her.

Now, before you laugh, and think I am totally naïve and foolish at believing the claims of a bar girl, you must understand that I do not take what they say as literally true. I DO NOT believe them when they say such things. But, I generally believe that some of the girls like us more than others, and that there is an element of genuine affection for certain clients they may have. I believe I fit into this category with some of my best girlfriends, and it always makes for a really nice GFE. So, I enjoy the illusion, and run with it.

Anyway, since I was not able to see her on that trip, when I was waiting for my plane to board at the airport, I just decided to give her a call to say goodbye. I told her I was sorry we could not meet this time, and that I just wanted to say goodbye. I wanted to know I had missed seeing her, and I wanted her to know that I was interested in seeing her again.

Anyway, when I came back to Monterrey, on this most recent trip the end of October, she brought up the fact that I had called her to say goodbye last time, and how nice that was of me to think of her. I think these little gestures have a very definite catalystic effect on the overall GFE quality, more so with some girls than others, but in this case, apparently exceptionally so.

Anyway, on this most recent trip, the most interesting thing to me was the amount of time she spent with me. Most of the time, when you bar fine a girl, it is for only 1-1/2 hours, and occasionally I am able to get them to stay up to 3 hours if things really go well, and they have the permission of their managers. But generally, girls do not linger all night, not usually more than 4 hours at the most. In fact, I have only had girls spend all night on very limited occasions, maybe only 3 or 4 times over the last three years. So, for a girl to stay all night is very telling about what that girl is really feeling for you. Because, literally, there is no monetary necessity for her to stay todo la noche. All-nighters are simply not very common in Mexico.

This girl stayed with me from 10:30pm to 7am. She has a little one year old girl at home, and had to return to pick-up her daughter. If it were not for her parental responsibilities, she would have stayed even longer. So, when she left I gave her a 200 peso tip, and I know she was going to spend at least half of that on cab far to her home, which was over a half hour away from downtown Monterrey.

I believe I gave her a relatively small tip for what was a wonderful GFE, and for treatment that could only be described as being very genuinely affectionate on her part. But, it will enable me to see the depth of her true feelings, to determine whether she really likes me, or whether her efforts are purely monetary, hoping to get regalos from the Gringo, or nice tips. So, we shall see.

I will be in Monterrey again in a couple of weeks, and I’ll look her up again to see if her attitude is still caliente, luke warm, or whether my cheapness has cooled her off. It will indeed be interesting. But, either way, it’s nothing a few pesos won’t cure if in fact my being a cheapskate tipper has a detrimental effect on her overall affections.

Thanks for the info. I am sure we have all taken one for the team at some time or another similar to what you experienced, I have for sure.

But you did something about it which I'm sure most of us never do...talk to the management so this 'girl' doesn't try to scam someone else and by posting it on this board. Thanks for looking out for the rest of us my friend.

You are the example we should all try to follow. I have come out of my shell of just reading the board and will try to post my experiences as most of you have done.

I will be staying at the PDA in two weeks, if your around, would enjoy having some beers with you at Matehuela or Infinito.

I just returned home from MTY after spending four nights there. I enjoyed visiting the clubs with my buddies, Carlos and Porker, and my new buddy, RockMntWay.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a real diappointment the last night of my stay in Monterrey. Just wanted to relay the details of this circumstance, not as a criticizm of Monterrey, but as a warning that no matter how much we think we might know a place, or how familiar we might think we are with a particular venue, shit happens. Don't get me wrong, I love MTY, but you have to constantly be aware of the probably thousands of ways things could go astray, and this is just one of them.

I had a terrible experience last night with a new girl I bar fined from Givenchy. Turns out that she was very non-compliant, had never done a salida, didn't have much, if any, sexual experience, wanted to rest rather than work...it was really awful.

So, I told her I was very unsatisfied with her and that I would be going back to Givenchy to get my money back. I had negotiated, and received approval from Jorge, the manager of the bar, prior to barfining her,that she would stay 3 hours. She had only been with me about two hours, and had not done much of anything with me other than talk. She allowed me to perform oral on her, but that was almost it. Then, when we started to do it, she kept insisting I was done after about 3 minutes. So, I told her no and told her I was not going to pay her for doing nothing.

Anyway, I told her to go, and that I would be leaving to meet with the manager. She tried to talk me out of it, and she called on her Nextel to somebody, and it sounded like she was trying to summon some help so I wouldn't report her. So, I made a fake call to security downstairs, and told her they were on the way up. She finally got ready and I escorted her downstairs and out of PDA.

When we were on the street, I just left her standing there, and took a taxi to see the manager right away. I actually arrived there before she did. The manager came out after she arrived and we were both standing there outside the building.

She told him her story in Spanish, and I tried to tell him my side in elementary Spanish. He seemed like he believed me, and told me that he knew I was a good client for many years, and that I never caused any problems after bar fining many girls out of there. This girl is new, and this was, according to her, her one and only salida. I believe it. Her performance was terrible.

It always surprises me how some of these kinds of girls, professional erotic dancers, are sometimes so inept at their own sexual prowess. This girl was like a reluctant junior high school girl, and she seemingly had no idea of how to stimulate a man. Some refer to them as Starfish, and I think you could appropriately characterize her that way. What a frickin' disappointment.

Anyway, the manager, Jorge, told me that he could not touch the bar's money, the bar fine amount of 350 pesos, but that he would refund it too me if he had the authority. He told me that my refund would have to come out of the girl's part of the money. She had agreed to go for 1000 pesos total, and I guess the bar got their cut, 350 pesos. So, she was only going
to get 650 pesos out of the deal. But, he convinced her to refund 350 pesos of her money to me, which she did. The girl's name at the club is Daniella, by the way, so...BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMHO, the bar management has a responsiblity to ensure that their girls provide decent service, to make sure their girls know the depth of their responsiblity when they accept a bar fine, and to ensure that customers are not seen as opportunities for a swindle. I have never had this happen to me before, and so far, I am considering it to be an isolated incident. But, I will be much more vigilant in the future.

This girl claimed to have formerly worked at a very expensive club in Monterrey called Amnesia. But, I don't think I believe her. She was good looking, but she really didn't look that good. Girls working at Amnesia are generally pretty exceptional talent or they don't survive there...well, maybe she did work there...for a couple of days.

She kept telling me how much she used to earn over at Amnesia for doing nothing, and that I should be happy she went with me to the hotel for such a small amount of money. She kept telling me that she would get 3000 pesos for just a covered blow job, and 15 minutes of sex, at Amnesia. I got no blow job, and only about 3 minutes of sex, and was not even close to completion.

She tried to convince me I was getting a real bargain. I told her that no self respecting Mexican local would pay 1000 pesos for three minutes of screwing, and that if that was how it was going to be, I was going to see her manager immediately.

I gave her every opportunity to make it right before I kicked her out and went back to Givenchy to speak to Jorge, the manager. I was hoping she would see the error of her ways, and decide that she owed a decent level of service. I really tried reasoning with her for probably a half hour before I just gave up, and decided to kick her out and go see the manager.

Also, something I discovered after I went with her to the hotel was that she had been in a car accident the prior week and was all banged up from it. She actually told me she had a lot of pain, and I could tell she was actually feeling pretty rotten, which probably explains part of her attitude problems. She had a large bruise on her right cheek, and several bruises on her legs, things that were not visable to me in the privados because they must have been covered with makeup. When I saw her in the privados there was no hint of such a condition.

Don't get me wrong, I have compassion for someone who is feeling muscle pain and bruising from a car accident, and not wanting to work because she is feeling like shit. I wouldn't want sex under those circumstances either. I am not a heartless guy. Quite the contrary. But, I told her that even though I have compassion for her circumstances, that does not mean that I want to spend $100 FOR NOTHING!!!!!! IT IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY to pay for her automobile damage and medical bills without receiving something of reasonably equal value in return.

Perhaps if her physical condition were up to par, then things might have been different. But who knows, she may have this same attitude all the time regardless of any pain she might have been in...maybe that's why she couldn't make it at Amnesia, if in fact she ever actually worked there. Besides, moving from Amnesia to Givenchy is quite a sizeable demotion, IMHO.

Anyway, she told me she only did the salida because she totaled her car, and she needed the money, and that she had never done a salida before. So, obviously, she saw my 1000 pesos as a quick means to an end, and
probably had no intention of providing decent service to begin with.

In the end, I felt that I had been taken by the bar management and their girl, and I was not happy with their settlement. But, I was actually quite pleased with my ability to negotiate with the manager for a partial refund anyway.

However, I have to be honest, I did have some help from a couple of young gringos who just happened along as I was negotiating with the manager. They helped clarify the communication between myself and the manager, which was already on the right track anyway, but their help was very timely.

These guys were down from Laredo, and they were gringo young guys who spoke fluent Spanish. They just saw me standing with the manager waiting while the girl was telling him her side of the story, and they wanted to know which of the clubs were the best ones to visit in town.

When they first approached me, they didn't really know I was involved in a negotiation to get my money back. But, they could obviously see I was one of them, "a gringo," and so they decided to inquire about my best recommendations in town. They were very supportive, and after hearing both sides of the story, they were telling the manager that the girl was full of crap, and that I was being swindled.

One thing we she all attempt to do is to pre-qualify, with the management, what is expected of the girls when we bar fine them, and to insist that they take some degree of responsibility for service levels. If they choose not to, then only bar fine your favoritas, girls you know you can depend on. Due to this circumstance, in the future, unless I personally know the girl, I may turn to Givenchy as a last resort over Infinito and Matehuela.

It's too bad the effect something like this has to have on the future business of an otherwise good establishment. Until that night, Givenchy was tied with Infinito as my number one, economical source of "bar-fineable" girls. But now, after having seen the commitment of management to customer service, I will be much more careful in the future about spending my money there.

I have been avoiding the practice of buying drinks for girls because of the expense, and I've been trying to confine my activities to testing them out in the privados for a couple of songs, and then, if I think they will be good, I bar fine them.

Well, there may actually be some merit in also spending a little money on additional privados, or a couple of drinks, or merely interviewing them over a couple of different visits before you take the plunge after all. There is really no way of knowing in advance that you might end up with a dudd. But, taking the time, and, yes, even spending the fecha money to get to know your bar fine candidate might be the wiser path in the end.

My problem is, I don't always have the time to scrutinize candidates like I should. But, if you don't, then you run the risk of this very same thing happening to you, and the managers of the bar are not going to back you up if the chica is a dudd.

With all that having been said...I still love Monterrey, and will probably return again on business either the week of October 30th or November 6th. I am truly a glutten for punishment :-)

Can you suggest anyplace to meet somewhat older women in your city - say 35 to 50 y/o? Here I'm NOT talking about pro's, but normal ladies out for fun, drinking and music. Usually there is a restaurant or cantina with music on the weekends that draws a middle age crowd, often with ladies coming in groups of 3-6. Discos usually pull in a very young and loud crowd and I would rather hit the strip clubs for 20-something chicas. I speak Spanish relatively well.

I just would enjoy checking it out and seeing for myself. I have been to Cancun and Cali, Colombia, and have had a great time in the regular nightclubs, in addition to the strip clubs.

My experience has been that the cost of a "decent" massage will probably be from 350-600 pesos, depending on where you go. As Carlos mentioned, they are available for 200 pesos, but I would be very skeptical that a Gringo would receive much satisfaction from a massage costing only 200 pesos. I assume locals might be more successful getting satisfaction at that price, but a Gringo, and especially a Gringo with no prior experience in Monterrey and limited Spanish speaking skills, will undoubtedly have to pay more.

Personally, I find the massage scene to be a bit of a turnoff; just a little to anticeptic and mechanical for my tastes, no offense intended. But, on those occassions that I have visited the MP's, I have always started out around 350 pesos. But, by the time I leave, the final bill is usually between 400 and 500 pesos, simply because I have wanted to spend just a little more time, or I wanted this or that, and I am a Gringo, etc...

I remember the most I ever spent was around 700 pesos, and the girl was gorgeous. I think I spent about 45 minutes with her for that price. It was at Versace Massage, which is one of the more expensive places. But they usually have some pretty hot girls to choose from.

And, no, I don't own stock in the place...just a relatively satisfied customer that experienced mild sticker shock after all was said and done.

To put everything in perspective, I regularly spend 2-3 hours with girls I know from the clubs, back at the hotel. These are girls that are dancers in the clubs, and some of them I have know for a while, and some I have just met, and are unknown to me when I bring them back with me. I have actually had one of my girlfriends who is a dancer in Obsesssion back to my hotel for 3 hours for 800 pesos. But, I have known her for a couple of years. So, IMHO, the MP's are not cost effective compared to what you get if you play in the clubs. However, sometimes the cost of drinks, etc...can get expensive.

Typically, I spend about five or six nights at a time when I'm in Monterrey, and over that period, I will usually spend between $800 to $1200. But, that's bringing a girl back with me to my hotel every night, usually for at least 2 to 4 hours at a time, sometimes longer depending on the circumstances.

It all just depends on what you like, what you can afford, and whether they see you coming; no pun intended :-)

PDA stands for Plaza del Arco, on the crossroads of Madero Ave and Pino Suarez... favorite hotel for mongers since it is walking distance from a ton of clubs and double the amount of MPs...

I'm not sure where [or what] "PDA" is, I usually stayed at the CrownE Plaza. One of my favorites is Status, located in the 800 block of Padre Meir. There are 2 or 3 other spas by the same name at different locations in the city (all part of the same group). Price there last month was 700 pesos servicio completo. Another I enjoyed was Giza, across the canal from the CROWNE PLAZA - you'll need a taxi. That one had a slightly longer lineup but it also cost 1000 pesos - most likely because it was my first visIt, the taxi driver picked it & my naivete showed.

There are 2 or 3 other spas by the same name at different locations in the city (all part of the same group). Price there last month was 700 pesos servicio completo. Another I enjoyed was Giza, across the canal from the CROWNE PLAZA - you'll need a taxi. That one had a slightly longer lineup but it also cost 1000 pesos - most likely because it was my first visIt, the taxi driver picked it & my naivete showed.
