So it is all kept 'discrete' (in a way)
Spreading around infos (not that I criticize that, otherwise we would not be in here) maybe makes all too public and "the authorities" cannot ignore what's happening.
Look what is happening in Shangai with lots of Sauna being raided to "clean the town" Mainly addresing to those etablishemnts that are caring for foreigners. They raid location that have the huge signs on the streets since "ages". So they cannot have them ignored them so far.
But the signs are in chinese, for their own people.
When saunas become too popular in the foreigners community then word of mouth also starts to depicts what can be read as "city of sin and mongering" and authorities 'have to do something'
There is always a great bunch of people against these establishments.

Not that I have any prejudice against non-asian foreigner but this is what I see in the China forum.

The problem is that members just gave too much details on the board or even sometimes posted full naked with full face photos of the providers. These providers, that might be good ones, will be gone in no time!

Ask oneself these questions:

1) What will happens if these girls see their own naked photos on the net?
2) What will happens if the relatives or worst, their parents see the naked photos of these girls?
3) What will happens if the Authorities sees the Photos?
4) With the details description of where to find these girls and a photo to associate with...what will become of them?

This is by IMHO: Irresponsible! But a lot of these members are not living in Asia and they are just visiting and therefore they don’t even care. However if they keep on going on like these, very soon all the good playthings/playgrounds will be gone!

I had often advised members to keep details to PM systems. And I still do!

And to answer your last question:

Chinese Sauna owner that are smart and stayed in business for a long time, how do they do it?

Simple: Noticed why some very popular sauna closed down for "Renovation" reopens with a new name or moved to somewhere nearby? Same owner!

I went to the exact place ACE posted. I even call their phone number to confirm. After I got to the place, an older mamasan told me there arn't any FS here. As I walked out, a manager approached me, I told him about what I've heard on this board, he says he can't do that any more. He put me in a taxi and told the driver to take me to another place. The other KTV straight up brought in 2 different girls, after I said no, They brought in 4 more much better ones. FS 3hrs for 4000NT, but have to pay 880NT/2hrs for a nearby hotel. The one I had is extremely pretty but very skinny, and won't do BBBJ, everything else is fine.

Afterwards, a taxi driver picked me up and asked what I was doing there. I told him my story, and he says he knows a much better place.

Sorry, it's been a while since I am able to go back to verify this about the President KTV. Here are the facts:

1) They don't offer FS to foreigners that are Non-Asian Chinese.

2) Due to safety reasons: They would advice their customer for takeouts rathers than having the girls inhouse.

3) The best time (with the most girls)

weekdays: 8 ~ 10pm
Weekends (Friday & Sat) 7 ~ 9pm

Taichung is a place I'm really interested in.

My last few trips to Taiwan my co have been sending me to Taichung. Many told me it's sin city or place where gangsters gather. Lots of KTVs and bright lights and all, but from my few trips there, it's been difficult getting p4p.

Last year, my co sent me to Kao Siung and Tai Nan. I've written a few reports on the southern cities, but for TaiChung, it's been a bit frustrating.

I'm imagining 80% of the fun is in KTVs since there are so many of them. I've just haven't had the balls to go into one.

I think the main problems may be that:

1) You need a bunch of people to actually enjoy KTV. The fun we get from playing dice and trying to get each other drunk... that's Taiwanese style.

2) You need the locals to tell you which KTVs are great fun. Or to bring you there. Base on what I knew.... some of the good KTVs do not even serve non-Chinese looking foreigners.

3) you need to speak the language.

Fortunately I am an ABC and had been hosted everytime I went to Taichung. Perhaps you can seek some locals help or let us know when you be back there. We'll see if we can party together? I am no expert of Taiwan but I am sure my host do not mind my friend/s joining our party.

As for President's, I would imagine you get offered the special service after going in and settled down. If you ask the outside bouncers, you'd get the "official" answer of "we don't do that".

In my that trip; everything was arranged by the mamasan from the KTV. If you asked the bouncers they wil turn you away because they aren't getting any commission from you.

Strange, I've just checked by calling my friend in Taichung and he confirms that they still offers such services. I'd asked my friend to check with them whether are they rejecting customers whom they are not familiar with?

Just a question: Do you look like you are a cop? If you are local looking and dress like a cop, I bet you that's the reason why?

on my last trip to taiwan i hit taichung via the high speed train. upon arrival, i was brought to president barber shop & ktv via taxi ride (200+nt) by my host. my host seems to be a regular there and we were immediately brought to the 4 floor where we were escorted to our individual rooms where a girl showed up after a knock on the door.

After leaving the President Barber Shop, my host and I when to a local eating place and had some late night supper. During supper we were comparing notes on services from the girls (both KTV and the massage). After which I was brought to a Motel where I was told that the night is not over. I was thinking; "What? night it is not over? What they meant?"

My host, left me behind the lock room door and told me meet up the following day at noon for lunch. I heard a splash of water coming from inside the room.... Without suspecting anything, (I thought the housekeeping left the tap on)... On the second night in Taichung, I was taken to have drinks in what I was told as the one of the best KTV in Taichung.

We were in the room by 9pm, there was 5 of us (guys). When told to bring in the line up, mama disappeared for at least 10 mins before appearing with just 3 girls. We started complaining that there must be something wrong with the mama as there were 5 of us and she only brought in 3 girls! All the 3 girls were not good looking and therefore we rejected all of them. Mama disappeared again and appeared after 2 mins with only one girl. She try to convience us that this is one of the better looking ones and we should take her as she would be quickly taken if we don't. One of my host asked her to sit down. We waited another 15 mins before the third line up appeared. There were 6 girls. We took 5 of them and told mama that we wanted more. By now, we were a bit pissed because of the lousy service. 5 mins later mama came in with 2 girls and we took both.

1 hour was spent on waiting and chosing our girls which we reckon is totally a waste of our time, but this is not the worst part of the deal! After another 10 mins and 2 bottles of Whisky later, we decided to leave and take one girl out each, but to our surprise 6 out of the 8 girls we had chosen said that they do not want to go out! My host was very angry and called in the mama. He scolded the mama as he told her specifically that all of us wanted to take the girls outs so bring in those girls that are willing. The mama was apologizing to us and told us to wait further so that she can bring more girls to us. However we were pissed.

I happened to be one of the "luckier" ones because I had two girls and one of them agreed to go out with me while the other was having her period (Not sure if that is true??) BUT because all of us were pissed, we also "dump" our girls and did not take out any.

We walked out of the KTV paying 12,000NT for the Whisky and sitting fees for the girls, and vouch that we will never come back here again!
