Posts: 1908New Garden and Grand Laguna
New Garden and Europa tend to have good reviews from mongers, and NG is located in the heart of the action, with Europa a 5 minute walk away.
Grand Laguna is a condo/apt resort, and a 15 minute ride out of town, so transportation is required. Chica friendly, as long as you stick to the basics, and use a little discretion and respect for the residents.

I'm hoping to return next month and the last time in was there (2010) I stayed at Hotel New Garden. I really liked it there and was wondering if it is still a good place to stay?
I'm thinking of doing a few days at BB's followed up with a few days in Sosua. If Mr. GoGo is still around I can finally buy him those beers!

What's the best way to get to town from the POP airport? Does Uber now work? It's been years since I flew in there and it used to have an overpriced taxi monopoly. Is there a better option?

Has anybody stay at Coral Blanco. I checked on the map its about 15 min walk to the main bars and restaurants.
I am fine with it, I am planning to rent a car. I want to confirm if the area is quiet and if the internet is good.

Posts: 1325Thanks, I'm back close to a Super Bowl weekend and it's a peak season, most of the spots I stayed in the past have been booked. Looks like Club Residencial has got one visitor at the time and no pool use for the chicas policy. I have sent the inquiries to Hotel Pier Giorgio and they have not responded. I think we need to revisit a list of proven friendly hotels and condos.

They all have some rules in the fine print to prevent their properties from becoming "party central" like New Garden and Europa, which they can invoke if things get out of hand, to the detriment of other residents, so a little discretion is recommended. Noisy pool parties are out!

Has anyone stayed recently or has knowledge if the following two properties were guest friendly (other comments are welcome too).
I have not heard anything to that matter, but things change:
https://clubresidencial.com/cwp/ - Club Residencial.
https://www.hotelpiergiorgio.com/ - Hotel Pier Giorgio (they have reopen recently, maybe for the season only).
