I was checking the threads and did not see anything. I there an upscale hotel in sosua that is chick freindly. Like 100 to 130 a night.

I have read back about 30 pages. I could not find any good upscale hotels in sousa. Are there any luxury hotels in the sousa area that are chic friendly.

Great to hear that the former Sosua Bay has now reopened as Topacio Azul. I can't wait to hear from the first people who stay there. I stayed at Sosua Bay twice, in February and August / September 2011, the first time was great there but the second time the place was already in decline. Would like to hear your feedback, especially comparing it to how it was before, has the hotel been updated and modernised? Especially the rooms, is there wifi in the rooms now? Have they sorted out their problems with the electricity company, ie are they back on the grid? What is the service like? What's the breakfast and other meals like? How about hotel cleanliness? Last time I was there I paid $ 60, just for room and breakfast. What is this rate now? Also wondering if the whole complex is now Topacio Azul, including Victorian House, or if that is separate ? Look forward to hearing your reviews, hope they're positive!

What is the price they quoted you? Is there a charge to bring in Chicas? Is it all inclusive?

I talked to them on the phone. I got a promotion price of 2500 all inclusive per person. I told them that I might be getting a girl back to the room in the night. They said it is OK. There is a separate wing for guys who want to bring back girls I was told.

About one big city block away. Sammon they wanted 1500 pesos per person for AI which doesn't make much sense but it was their first day back open.

Stayed there for a 100 a night thru their website. Two bedroom villa with pool. No issues to speak of. Would stay there again.

I know a few mongers that have been shaken down for phones, cash, laptopsatColibri, then security will ask for cash to let in girls. Last place we rented http://www.vrbo.com/386507 Very safe secure, safes in all bedrooms, very private, very nice. 1st class for $75 a night.

Stayed there last feb. Would not stay there again. Low scale hotel, they make it look really nice in the brochure. I would give it a 5 out of 10. Too many nicer hotels for the same price and a lot close to the action and beach.
