Anybody remember what the rate was for the FEC back then? I believe it was way way high. Much higher than these days. I've still got a coulle or so hundred of these old FEC's.

Plus it was very much an "adventure" to get any tail in china in the early 80's. Always deathly afraid of being caught, thrown in jail, and getting thrown out with your passport stamped 'pervert - never, ever to be allowed into china again" or some such thing!

So actually - things are GOOD nowadays!
