    My Mongering Experience in Lima

    Non Pro:

I spent seventeen days in Lima which included three weekends. About two months before I went to Lima, I registered myself with one of the dating sites. I put up my profile and added what I was looking for. I emphasized that I was not looking for any long term relationship, just for some fun outings. I also would like to practise my Spanish with them. I received few replies. I decided to meet four women face to face. I like MILFs, I wanted women between 35 to 45 years of age. All those women were within that age range.

I have only one Saturday day and night during the first week of my visit. So I asked one of those four to come on Saturday at 2pm and would go for a walk and coffee. She arrived at my hotel right on time. I invited her to my room, but she refused. Instead we went for a walk and talked and had coffee. She was very friendly, but I was not sure what she was looking for. Against my better judgement, I asked her if she would be interested to go for supper and clubbing a little. She agreed. To make a long story short, the entire evening cost me about $80 and I got nothing! My initial intuition was right! Finally about 11 pm, I made an excuse that I am tired and would like to go to bed. So we departed there. She sent me another email later, but I never replied.

I met two more following weekend. After two separate lunches with those two, I did not want to waste anymore of my valuable vacation time. I realized that it is unlikely that, I am going to get lucky. That was my first and last meetings with those two. I still have one more to go. Being disappointed, I thought I would try pro/semi pro scenes. That story a little later. All those women I met are all beautiful women and all of them have full time jobs.

On my last weekend in Lima, being in sperm management mode, I thought I am going to try the last one just for fun. So I send her an email and she replied right back saying that she is free for the weekend. Coincidently, she lives only few blocks from my hotel. She showed up on Friday afternoon. I did not invite her to my room, instead went for coffee. It was obvious that she was going to be an willing partner! But that Friday and Saturday night I had a date with a pro/semipro. I told her I was free for all Saturday daytime and all Sunday. She showed up on Saturday right on time for lunch. She came to my room, watched some soccer game and did our thing. I asked asked her up front, what she is expecting from me. She started talking about how her $150 rent has not been paid up and she needs a pair of jeans. I said I would help her a little on the rent and buy her a pair of jeans. At the end I paid her $100 cash, a pair of jeans and a handbag, of course good food and drinks. This woman was 41 years old, looks like in her early thirties, excellent in bed. I was very satisfied with the sex part. She said she is a taxi driver, but not working that weekend. I never saw a woman taxi driver in Lima though. I am not sure she told me the truth or not. She may be a semipro! She came to see me off at the airport. I gave all my soles to her ( about 70 soles) and some toiletries. When I came back home, I noticed that my camera was missing with all the pictures I took in Lima. I am not sure she took it or I left it at the hotel.

In my experience, these type of women are more expensive than a pro and you have to listen to their whinning.

El Sol is probably the most expensive option in Lima but they do provide a nice congenial atmosphere and as others have said occassionally they get some pretty hot & sweet teachers.

IMHO Mr. Wonder is not Nibu, he writes too coherently. However his post should have been made in the Nibu thread.

Does anyone else see a similarity here? If I had read this report without knowing who the author was, I would have been 99.9% sure that it was penned by Nibu.

    Spanish Language School in Lima

Recently I spent 17 days in Lima. This was my first trip to Peru. Objective of my trip was to learn Spanish language a little, know the culture and mongering. All three items are equally important. I have reported on my experience with two Lima hotels on Lima Hotel Recommendation section few days ago.

I enrolled myself in a Spanish language school in Lima for two weeks for basic Spanish.( I do not wish to name the school here. If someone is interested to know the name and the details, pm me). The classes and optional activities each day arranged by the school take almost all day. The classes are in the morning, 9 to 1 pm, then the cultural activities starting at 2:30 pm and some continued up until 6 pm. I took group Spanish lessons for a week and then private lessons for the following week. I find the instructors are very good and helpful. The cultural activities include trips to museums, walking tour of Miraflores, salsa dance lessons and Peruvian cooking etc. Although these are optional activities, I participated in all of them. Cost of participating in those activities are minimal. I recommend the school to anyone who is interested. Entire stuff of the school was very helpful in every respect. Caution: the school is not a place for mongering.

However a word of caution: I find the course is intense and the instructors assign home work every day. I am a 50+ years old guy. Other students in my class were young guys and girls. They are lot faster than me in learning the language. I was the slowest in the group. Talk about getting old! So I had to work after the classes about an hour every evening. On top of that, my ego took a lot of beatings in those group classes! However, at the end of two weeks, I made significant progress, especially with the listening skill.

I stayed with a host family for a week arranged by the school. I was very keen to know their life style, standard of living of middle class Peruvians. The family I stayed with consists of retired professionals of husband and wife. They have a beautiful home, comparable to any average North American home. My room was quite private and comfortable. I ate similar food as they eat every day. Nothing special. They made sure that I am comfortable. In every sense, they are an ideal host. The husband spoke few words of English and the wife none. My Spanish at the time was better than his English! The cost of homestay is modest.

The disadvantage was that the family was a little away from Miraflores. So I was a shutin after I returned to the family at the end of the day. The husband and I took walks for few days after super. All in all, my experience with a host family was quite positive.

(if i could understand the spanish instructions i wouldn't need lessons!! cart before the fuc*ing horse....i waste the first ten minutes trying to work out what we are doing and the rest of the time playing catch up. best thing to do - which i do now - is stop the instructor and ask "what the f*ck" in english. get the lesson plan stated in english and then all is cool.) . . .. .
this has been one of my major pet peeves regarding the spanish emersion programs. i really believe that the grammer theory should be taught in the language the student understands well, esp. beginners. once our spanish knowledge is good enough, then it's seems more resasonable that total emersion could include theory as well. i wouldn't recommend total emersion spanish for english only speakers until they have had at least a basic spanish course in english unless they've money and time to waste. of course there are those exceptionable student who learn well under most any conditions. i certainly am not one of them.

my first time learning spanish in spanish was exciting at first, but then i got progressively isolated from the learning process as i knew less and less of what was going on. after about two weeks, a fellow classmate finally pulled me aside and helped me figured out my problem. i didn't know how to conjugate verbs because all that theory was done in spanish! all my speaking was done with unconjugated or infinitive verbs only. for those learning english, they have it easier in a sense, because we only have 1 to 2 conjugations per tense vs. 5 to 6 in spanish. can you imagine learning chemistry in arabic or swahili if you don't know those languages? geez.

i'm sure this sounds dry to many here readers, but our communications skills (which in part means language) are near the top of the list in getting our sexual needs met. money also seems to make a difference, ahem . . .. .

    Alcoholic Distortions

While we are discussing the cost of booze the above phemomena has just been mathematically proven. At last the British have done something useful!!

Researchers at Manchester University say while beauty is in the eye of the beer-holder, the amount of alcohol consumed is not the only factor. Additional factors include the level of light in club, the drinker's own eyesight and the room's smokiness. The distance between two people is also a factor.

    The formula would explain Tequilla!!

    Cheers!

You can bring two guests in no charge. After that there's a fee (don't know what it is). BTW - breakfast is usually scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, a gazillion fruits, rolls, cheezes & other things. Lunch is basic finger sandwiches & extras, Dinner usually has three entrees (all technically horse dovers) plus a load of other stuff. If you stay here a week you'll get a little bored but you could certainly go all day without leaving the building (unfortunately I did that twice on this trip).

The kiuller here is that the desserts are great. I often take at least a full plate back to my room along with half a dozen sodas every day. Cookies, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and all those damned little sweet things.

Bring you own booze - I brought a bottle of Jack Daniels from the state ($18US) and it was gone in 5 days. Next time I'll bring two.

    /Dan D.

I'll pm you with the basics.

Hats Off To Dan D Dick

Dan D Dick may be new to Lima but one place where he did NOT get ripped off is at the Marriott. The Marriott is also my hotel of choice in Lima and I have never heard of anyone paying only $53 per night, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Is that a corporate or airline rate? What are the magic words I have to say to get that rate when making a booking? Can I just mention that I am vaguely connected to Dan D Dick? Will that be enough?

Joking aside, I am assuming that the meals are for one person only or were you able to get meals for the chicas thrown in for that price? And what about booze? I was charged 24 soles for a Baileys in the Marriott Lounge on my last trip.
