Greetings Everyone,

I doubt that this comes as a surprise to anyone, but I am not going to permit TheCatsMeow88 to use my forum to incessantly criticize me, chastise other members, promote my competitor's websites, and otherwise waste my bandwidth. What I find particularly galling is his complaints about the Forum's subscription price considering that as a Senior Member he has NEVER paid a penny to use the Forum.

Consequently, I have deleted a number of TheCatsMeow88's recent "reports". In addition, TheCatsMeow88 is now limited to posting information and factual accounts of his personal mongering experiences, and is specifically not permitted to post comments, opinions, stories, or any other text regarding other Forum Members or the Forum Membership in general.

I would move somewhere else like Perutops (which I think is ok to mention since everyone pretty much knows about it and browses it anyway). I understand that Perutops has an English section now so it is a real possibility if things do not work out in my current home.

The english section of perutops is lagging. At least it was when I was doing research for my month stay in lima. The spanish section has excellent information however you need to decipher alot of peruvian slang.

I think piper's previous post sums it all up. I agree with it 100%. I wasn't crazy about your non pfp posts but you do have the ability to give other bits of good information. You should share those abilities with people who can do the same for you.

It doesn't make sense to fight when all we are trying to do is get each other laid.

Hey,

I've never been to Peru but putting a trip together at the end of Febuary with a friend. I have been reading the report but still need some info on where I should stay. I like apartments but it seems the guys here that rent them have them sold out. Here is what I would like to accomplish while in Peru. I would like to be close to bars and shopping in miraflores (unless someone has a better idea). I like reguar bars and really not much into p4p other than maybe slipping in a bar for a drink when bored and telling the girls they charge too much in an attempt to better the prices for you guys that frequent these establishments. I like tennis and I like to surf or anything with being outside during the day that involves breaking a sweat. I guess I should see machu picchu while there so how does one get there from Lima? I read somewhere that there are some cool little beach towns south of Lima for surfing and partying, does anyone have any names. Also if anyone wants to take us on a tour or get together for a drink please don't hesitate to pm me. Oh; yes I do speak spanish and I will continue reading the report. How about a cheat sheet for a newbie?

The first thing you should do is contact Lima Busy to see if he has any availabilty or cancellations for his apartments. The location of the apartments is ideal for the Miraflores bars and shopping you want to be close to.

Lima Busy also has a driver called Manuel who speaks good English and is a keen surfer. He will be able to point you in the right direction concerning outdoor activities such as surfing and tennis. I can tell you thet there are 2 tennis clubs within walking distance of LB's apartments. You are going to Lima at the right time of year for outdoor activities.

Manuel has also be known to act as a tour guide for an appropriate fee.

PS I have never been to Macchu Picchu but you will have to travel to Cusco (Probably by plane) to get there. There is tons of very useful information on how to organize a Macchu Picchu trip in the Cusco thread.

maybe you really annoy the shit out of people? i don't know, and can only make a guess at that. i haven't read all the messages on the board, since you've come on, so it's a shot in the dark, at best.

i've seen so many know-it-alls who come on to a forum, and basically take it over. by choosing to ignore someone, it might work fine for you, but a cancerous poster will just make everyone with something to actually contribute go somewhere else. from david's reaction, this seems to be what he feels you're doing. and even though it's not his forum, i'm sure that he wishes only the best for the quality users of this forum.

then people who have an axe to grind, will reinforce your side, when all they want to do is attack david, but not get in trouble for it. everyone can bring all sorts of personal stuff into the argument, but it really doesn't solve anything.

a few years back, there was a hugely divisive argument about a guy who had slept with some **** girls in thailand. supposedly he found out later that they had fake id's, but still posted pictures of them, and talked about it. if it happened in lima, then hopefully the op learned something from it. i think it's best to put it behind, ask for id, and if doesn't look right, then don't take the chica.

Well, in the midst of the battle things get said and done that shouldn't. I like Giotto, and have stayed at his place in Bangkok. However, I recall that he posted private details one time in his thread, which he deleted after complaints. So, it just goes to show you that no one is perfect.

These type of battles have happened in many forums before. Some, such as the Thailand thread, had gotten to the point that it's not even enjoyable to read the threads any more. I think Jackson cleaned it up after awhile, but I still rarely read those forums, it has a lingering affect.

I'm all for being straightforward with financial details. There have been members like Roxanna in Argentina who give tours, and such who get hidden commissions and wouldn't disclose them, that I felt was a rip off. There were also allegations that a certain member was getting a free session with chicas when she got a certain number of clients referred to her.

I would have no problem if David got some free pussy out of the deals, but he says he doesn't and I have absolutely no reason to doubt him. As everyone knows, I'm a cheap bastard, so it's pretty hard to get much money out me anyway.

I felt I got good advice from David on places to stay, eat and fuck. I've been able to return the favor for other locations, and travel advice, so figure I've been able to return a little bit to him.

Lima Busy makes money off of his units, and that's fine as well, as long as everything is above board. I recall at one point he was pricing his units, at say, $45 a night, but based per person, and a double occupancy. I pointed out that this was not correct, and he should just show a per night charge, to avoid misunderstandings. I believe he has done so, making the true pricing clear to everyone.

I really don't have enough knowledge of the other combatants posts to decide one way or the other. I know when I voted on the other thread, it was to support David's position.

I've probably seen it a dozen times. I believe I have even seen Jackson do it on occasion, not sure if it was on the ISG or AP, though. In most cases, I believe it shouldn't be posted, but I have seen some times where I do think it's appropriate.

There are some pretty serious allegations going around, and I think that they need to be handled in a level headed way.

I have been to Lima some 20 times already .....and I am only in my mid-30's, met with the Great Sly One, and the crew ( not to mention names ) I have never met David33 or Lima Busy, yet they have offered lots of info and help when asked. Great advice and if everyone followed it there would be no issues. Though I have not done an official count, I would guess that over the past 12 months I have posted as many photos as anyone on the Peru board (In the combined Photo Gallery and Lima Thread). However, in the current poisoned environment, I just cannot be motivated or bothered to post anything so please excuse me if it takes me a while to act on your request.
