    Hotel-List Asuncion

    Hello,

Monthly price in the number 20 mentioned was at least 1.500.000 GS.

I think the hotel is closed now and doesn't exist. There is no contact possible.

If somebody stayed there at least and the hotel actually exist, he or she should contact me.

    Thanks.

    Hotel lists

Thank you world traveler but the list came just two weeks later after I tried finding an apartment and having difficulties and then resorted to booking a hotel that a monger had stayed at and liked.

I am done with booking my flights and apartments (in Lima, Peru) and hotels in ASU and CDE. Details will come later as I need a breather!

Flights from West Coast of USA to ASU

Thank goodness for the AA flights from Miami. The flights quoted on American Airlines from San Francisco to ASU start from about $942. 00, taxes and rip offs included. Not bad at all. Previously, my head was spinning as to how I was going to get there. The option I was considering was to fly to Buenos Aires and then the 24 hour bus ride. Not something I was looking forward to. Anyway, my trip to ASU will wait a little as I am taking French classes now and Morocco Arab girls will be on the radar!

Other guys have posted that they have had no problem with chicas going to the room, but personally I would feel a little uncomfortable because of the physical and social set-up. Other guys have recommended the Asuncion Palace, but it's a little farther from the casas I like.

    Great advice by Hooligan

At least with her talking to the taxi driver, it's a local talking to a local.
This strategy worked well for me before I learned some Spanish.

I still have limited Spanish. When I call a casa, I find that the good places are patient with me as I struggle to understand the address and the rates, and the bad places frequently hang up on me in frustration. So I don't often follow Hooligan's strategy because I have found out through much experience that places that are well managed are patient and very polite. They end the conversation by "esperamos por vos."

By the way, all casas, good or bad, lie about how many chicas are currently available. Figure 50.

As for the strategy of simply letting the taxista take you to any place he favors, the problem is that he will take you to the place that gives him the biggest kickback. Sometimes these places, such as La Mansion, can be very good, but they tend to be over-priced compared to what you can get in the Centro. Also, they tend to be longer taxi rides, so the taxista makes out doubly off you.

    Mongering tip

I am on my way to Asuncion. I have been to most other SA countries but this is my first time to Paraguay. This looks promising. First of all this forum has been very useful but I never pay any attention to the lists or the addresses of casas posted. These places open and close so often it has been my experience that its a waste of time. If you speak little spanish like me try to find a cab driver that speaks just a little English. If this doesn't pan out just say working girls or chic. Cab drivers are your best source of information. When arriving at a casa have the driver wait for you while you check it out. I don't like dance clubs. Always too expensive and usually to hard to get your choice chica out. Try cab drivers, it works?
