The only thing is they did not completely erase the computerized tiles they use to block out the genital area as requierd by Japanese Law for distribution / use within Japan. Can you get the films that are of Sora Aoi and are completely devoid of these "tiles"? You only have remnants of them left but it should be no difficulty at all to completely erase them.

I have heard (but am not sure of this) that any video "filmed" in Japan must have those censorship tiles, and that uncensored Japanese porn is actually filmed in Taiwan or other locations. As DS has sId, CDO is a very safe, secure city and it's a nice place tp visit for a few days. I suggest staying at the Mallberry. It's a decent, clean business hotel, very near the rows of restaurants and within a ten minute cab ride to most of the clubs. General Santos is also reasonably safe though there's not a hell of a lot to do there. Stay at the East Asia Hotel, which is maybe a two star but the best in town. It needs some maintenance but it's clean, safe and hospitable. There are a few bars within meters of the hotel so you won't even need a taxi. The food at the hotel is, to be kind, barely edible. But there is a decent steakhouse in gown, though I forget the name. Ge wrap Santos is only a couple of hours by road from Davao, and it's an easy trip.

I've read in a few places that the walls in the bay around GenSan are some of the best in the Philippines. Has anyone here experienced any GenSan diving?

DS, I do read you forum, don't worry I am taking notes as well, if it wasn't for you GE, Barba and few other here I probably would have never bothered with Mindanao. I will be making my first trip to Davao in August and I will have another month to kill from mid Sep to mid Oct so I might be back and visit few other places.

At this stage I am thinking CDO + Butuan but would really like to check out Iligan as well although it seems to close to Marawi for comfort. Anyway I will work it out I guess after visiting Davao.

Iligan is pretty much of a shit hole, though there are a couple of clubs and a handful of expats who live there. There's not a he'll of a lot to recommend the place and I suggest that before you commit yourself to staying there you drive from CDO to check it out. It takes less than 90 minutes so you don't even have to spend the day. The one time I stayed overnight there the place I stayed would have made most hostels look looke like the Hotel Crillon. It was that awful and I will never repeat the mistake. I've been to the city multiple times-always on business-and I've never noticed anything that would male me want tp come back.

Butuan is okay, but it's a sleepy little place with little to see or do though I'm told it's got some nice beaches. The nicest hotel in town is probably the Almont Imland Reslrt, and it's at best a 3 star, though even that rating would be a stretch. I've never found a decent place to eat there.

By far the two best cities in Davao-at least in my opinion-are Davao and CDO. With the opening of thevnew Ayala Mall, called Abreeza, next month, the dining options are going tp get lots better as well. I know that Italiannis is opening a branch there, as I've been invited to the opening on! Ay 12 th. TGI Fridays, which has decent if unremarkable food is also opening as I am sure, are dozens of others. The mall itself is enormous, so I'm sure there will be some other interesting places. A similar mall, also built by Ayala is opening I'm CDO, but I, not sure exactly when. Inevitably.

Though, the new construction will increase the number and variety of upscale pick-up places. The fact is that Davao and CDO are boom towns, which for Mindanao makes them unique. Though I like CDO and get there often, ultimately it's just too small to interest me for the longer term.
