I don't know why I am posting this, there is no great information in it, but thought I would share my experiences of 2 nights in a bordertown.

I was stranded on the Romanian border trying to get into Moldova. I had just travelled by train across northern Romania from Budapest, I was tired and hungry after a cold night spent changing trains in remote Transylvanian stations. Eventually after a couple of hours I stopped a minibus crossing into Moldova, it was driven by a Russian fruit seller and his family on their way back to Unghen. "I'm not taking you if you don't pay" he said as I asked for a lift across the border. And so began a beautiful friendship! He took me across and offered me a room in his flat. I accepted. Unghen looked miserable. A couple of high rise apartment blocks a supermarket, restaurant and a train station. It was also bloody cold being November. I had a shower and he (Volodya) took me to his garage to drink wine and eat salo, I met his son and we ended up in a restaurant getting pissed on vodka. We made pans to sell stolen cars in Kishinev, usual drunken bullshit, but my mind was on one thing, girls.

That evening after a few hours sleep his son came around to the flat and asked if I wanted to go out for a few beers. Sure I said. He called a friend and we headed to a bar which was remarkably nice for a shit hole like Unghen. I became more drunk and started trying to seduce the local women, it was all good banter but I did not get very far, just Lott's of laughs. No problem it was my first night in Moldova. We left the bar at about 2 am, I was being loud and drunk, vodka does that to me that's why I rarely drink it, when a young girl standing outside, about 19 years old made eye contact. Moldovan, short, dark hair, pretty, you know the type. I went over and went in for the kiss, she pushed me away but laughed. We talked, I made her laugh andshe was actually rather sweet. My mind started filling with the vile sex acts I wanted her to perform on me and I asked for her number which she gave without hesitation. I left her and my friends and I went to a small bar on the outskirts looking for pros. The owner told us to wait and some would arrive but after 90 minutes nothing! We got even more drunk and I was now totally gone, I usually do not drink much so all the vodka had ruined me. It was about 4 am so I said get me a taxi. The taxi dropped me off outside the apartment block but I only knew which floor I was on not the flat number. I reached the floor and knocked on a random door, nobody answered. I would not answer my door to a drunk foreigner at 4 am either. I shouted out his name 'Volodya! ' but no reply. Then something happened I realised I was going to throw up, but then another even more terrible thought came into my head, I thought 'I am going to shit myself too! ' I had no idea what to do because both events were iminent and then I saw the garbage shoot! I dropped my trousers and opened the shoot, I got my ass in just in time and sprayed shit all down it whilst at the same time vomiting all over the floor. It was a very undignified sight to behold, all I could think was I hope Volodya does not come out now and see me shitting down his garbage shoot! I did feel better though for getting it all out. I then lay down on the floor and tried to sleep. 5 minutes later I heard Volodya calling my name. He had been worried about me and had come out to see if I was lost, I was saved. I went in and went to bed feeling rough. First night in Moldova!

The next morning I showered and went for a walk around town. How is it that people know you are a foreigner instantly? The town was small with 2 main roads and the road out was the best one. How people can live their whole lives in these towns I don't know, it must turn your brain to mush. And then I had my epiphany about seduction in these kinds of places. It's not wealth they are looking for, it's excitement, a change from the monotony of life in a one horse town. You look at the local men and they are the brooding leather jacket types, the girls have been there before and it's boring. What they want is someone who knows how to have a laugh, do stupid things with that the local menfolk would never do because it does not look cool. That's where we can come in. We should go to a club and not sit down eyeing all the girls but not approaching, we should be laughing loudly, approaching all the devs, trying to seduce them, we should seem exciting maybe a little dangerous. Sure not every girl would like it but the younger ones certainly would. Basically we should act like the guy who we see in clubs and think "what an ass hole! ", because that's the guy who gets the chicks. I tried my theory in Kyrgyzstan earlier this year, and I had a lot of success (read my post in that forum). Anyway I called up the girl from the night before and we met in the evening. She was just a sweet girl, we had a few drinks, went for a walk and I had a nice kiss with her on the bridge by the railway station. I briefly considered renting an apartment for a few months and moving her in with me, falling in love, but I decided to push on to Kishinev, what a mistake that was!

The next morning I headed to Kishinev with Volodya. We drove through depressing towns that were strung along the road full of shabbily dressed Moldovans. I did not see one woman of beauty but it really brought it home to me just how poor some of these places are. Staying in nice hotels in Kishinev we forget or do not see the abject poverty of the provinces, there are opportunities out there for us if we approach it right and the right approach does not mean flashing dollars in girls faces. I honestly do not believe that it takes money to be sucsesful out here what it takes is attitude.

Later this month I will go to Moldova for the first time. Thanks very much for the excellent, first-hand information provided here. It all looks really great. I have high confidence that I will be able to repay
my debt to this board by posting some pictures of my own. I have a good camera with me and I'm not that bad looking, so it shouldn't really be a problem (oh yea, I also got plenty of cash which never hurts).
In fact, to be honest, I hope to make some semi-professional photos that could later be more widely distributed on the internet. I'm talking about non-pornographic photos here. I've already found a local girl who will help
me with this project.

I agree... been travelling that road several times, just dead villages, some bars, some restaurants, but no sauna! Even finding one in the capital is not so easy... I mean a sauna with fuckable girls, not a sauna where you find lots of guys....

By the way the paved road (some parts not asfalt but concrete as the old German and Russian way) is not so bad... I think he has not been in albania or in Africa eh eh eh...

In Moldova I travel only by bus, the roads are dirty full of big holes but sometimes in the bus you can find students, for exemple Dorina a beautiful blonde with a romanian passeport who was with me to cross the border in Sculeni between Chisinau and Iasi. To my arrival in Beltsy I was with another girl who study in Iasi and make the road all the weekends to visit her parents in Balti. I had the choice with her and the blonde Irina who is in pics in the Balti sections. In fact this girl is horrible but she had the apartment for me so I was with her but the good choice for me was the brunette student because she speaks with me good english. Between Sculeni and Chisinau I saw a bar sauna interesting but as I travel in bus I couldn't stop here. Falesti seems to be a very interesting small city in Moldova the females look desperate and ready for all kinds of relation with a foreigner full of money. Happy hunting on the roads of Moldova.

This is supposedly the best disco in PMR. I asked several people in Tiraspol, and they all said that Equator was far better than Plazma and any other club in Tiraspol. I never got to see it for myself, as I stopped by on a Tuesday, and they are only open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Would love to see a first-hand report on this place.

Looking the place I can imagine, Plazma is a very simple place, but with dirty cheap and good drinks (Corona, imported from Mexico to PMR! with lime is around 2 USD + Entrance wich was around 10 PMR Roubles, like 6-70 Cents, but they forgot to get paid! By looking at the car!). If you get there with a foreign (not MD or UA I suppose) plated car, you will be discretely contacted by the director (50 y.o. guy black haired middle height) or by the owner (do not know)... just asking questions in English on your trip if you want drinks, food, etc. (no rip-off) and of course he will show you the avaliable girls. This happens 20-30 min after you are in so all the girls gets dancing... but usually they are sitting with guys so... be careful!

I did not do anything when there (unfortunately)... but the panorama in a week day in the middle of the cold winter was limitated, but quite high in quality... 6-9 girls maximun 22-23 y.o. most teens, and blonde! All nice and well dressed...

Next time I'll stay more and have some vacations too (a long weekend in Tiraspol?), if it is like the rest (prices) it should go for 100 € for a full night with a nice teen blondinka!

By the way it was just abolished (the invitation) some weeks before you were writing. But, if you are driving a car (like me) and getting in with lots of luggage (and not getting there with the only two other transport methods: bus or train) it's far better that you have some proper paper with you. Possibly written in Russian. Company Invitation, Hotel Reservation, Official State Invitation (the best, but almost impossible), etc.

So usually if you have some of this papers it will go smothely. If you have the last one (a official one) you will avoid paying anything, registering at OVIR (they will do it), and most of all you will not queue! It can take from 1 to 5 hours in that little "customs" point to get in... then the same to register... so one day lost, at least get a proper invitation from an hotel or a company, ned let them do the job! At least 2/3... of time spared!

Nice site. I guess it's better taking a bus either from Chisinau or Tiraspol.

Buses to Tiraspol depart from Central Bus Station in Chisinau. Those to Dnestrovsk should depart from same station.

There are 2 bus stations in Tiraspol. Buses from Chisinau arrive to the Train Station/International Bus station. Buses to Dnestrovsk will depart from the bus station number 2. It's situated near "Park Pobedy" in Tiraspol.

The invitation letter has been abolished in Transdniestr and there is no need of any to stay in Transdniestr for a longer period (more than 10 hours). Foreign citizens do need to register at the OVIR when they arrive.

So now, you only need to pay the entrance fee when entering PMR, fill in the immigration form putting the address of the person in PMR whom you are staying with and register within 24 hours with the OVIR or police. That's it!

As it turned out the entrance fee is abolished too. So, a foreign traveler should not pay any fee, neither has an invitation letter to enter Transdniestr.

On ground it's in PMR (not Moldova) the best is to go by car to Tiraspol, there at Plazma disco you will surely find some teen to nail... (of course for $$$$).

There is even a good Resturant named Kumanchek just in the parallel street to the main one, on the opposite side of Kvint factory, some blocks towards the centrum. Nice and good food....

Ribniza is in transnistrea other part of moldova with a local authority.

Last time I was there 3 years ago I was booking an hotel there very poor style and the receptionist ask me too much questions like what is the purpose of your visit who do you go to see etc etc.

We visited there 2 night clubs we hadn't seen anything special.

The doorman at the hotel offered us girls but they were old and stinky.

Not a good experience.

But if you going to stay longer try to search in coffe shops or in the supermarket.

Essi, sorry can't give you any specific advise.

This was my impression for just one time I was there.

But people in Tiraspol told me they don't like to go there for some reason
so I guess they know better than me.

Also people in PMR told me Bender girls who are Moldovan go to Chisinau and slavic ones go to Tiraspol to study. But I can't say if that is specific rule.

It's not a question if Bender girls like anal or not. It is "small town mentallity".
Bender is very small place where everybody knows everybody so if the girl takes a casuall sex (and anal) guy can brag about that and people will start to talk and soon she's branded **** or something. In Chisinau she can do what she wants, having anal with foreigner and there are almost no chances he will come to Bender and tell people what she was doing he he. This is basically the case with any small town everywhere. Only size changes depending the size of the country. For example in Ukraine small town has population of 250-300 000 or something like that.

Hey Viking I was there once when visiting PMR.

It was working at Friday and Saturday only at that time.

I wasn't very impressed with my visit since about 70% of people inside were men. And the prices were high compared to similar prices in Tiraspol.

Lots of shady types, mafia wannabes, black jeeps and limousines parked outsides. I noticed licence plates from Chisinau, Tiraspol and Comrat. The word on the street was this place is used as meeting and exchange place for the criminal gangs from this three cities as meeting on no man's land.

Do you mean its beeter keep away or avoid this place? / I never been there and not much intrest to go To PMR. Enough girls in chisinau.

Many beder girls study in chisinau. Many of them look similar. I had a few bender girls and most of them like anal. Can't explain why?
