I just popped into this thread and read the first page- sounds like Udon Thani is not really worth the visit at this time?

Small numbers of bars, higher prices. Not worth going to for mongering.

There is a hotel near the river, name escapes me that has a selection of girls available. (if anyone is still interested I will update the hotel name).

I was very surprised that such a place existed in sleepy Rio-et, well it was there just over a year ago.

Usual thing you find in Bangkok or Pattaya, girls sitting down behind a glass wall and you choose who you want.

I realize this is bumping an old thread, but the Hotel mentioned in Roi Et was the Maithai. Used to have a fishbowl and karaoke on the second floor. New ownership and is now called the M Grand. An OK hotel and has been spruced up a bit. Got on Agoda for $11 a night with breakfast so can't complain. Good location for a night or two. Was with my Isaan girl so didn't hit any of the massage places or Buddy bar. Used to be you could find some freelancers or older local women there.

Thank you Mosquito. Was in Nong Khai a few years back and had no problem finding LT. Wasn't able to play when I was in Udon Thani last time. Can't wait to get back. Figure I'll spend some time both in UT and NK.

Day and Night. Barfine 300 Baht (current going rate, but they may try to bump it up a little).

ST Price 1. 5 k to 2 k Baht.

LT (hard to find) Price 3-4 k.

Nutty Park. Same as Above.

Side Bars on Falang Alley. Same as Above, though deals can be had. Depending on the lady.

Streetwalkers. Fugly and I'm being kind.

Selection very limited and vast majority of doable ladies (mid-twenties, 6 and above in looks) don't go with customers.

Ladies drinks 150 baht on average.

Oscars Soapy Massage Open (after being closed for a while) 1200 to Midnight. 1. 6 - 2. 6 k Baht. Selection very limited, best selection being after 7 pm.

Sad to read your report on quantity, quality and price in UT mosquito.

But I'm not surprised given the number of SYT's I'm seeing in the bars around Rawai saying they're from UT, KK, NK, etc. , when asked.

I'm assuming many others have headed to Hua Hin, Bangkok, Pattaya as well given the very large high season tourism influxes there.

After a few years without and living with local expats rates of pay, you can understand the younger ones, and newly starting ones have headed away, or upped their prices.

I am in UT and walked around the bars area yesterday night. I felt like less girls and about 20% are young and doable. I have been hearing about beautiful Isaan girls all over the forum and internet and surprised to see the real picture in town. BTW, many 60+ yo foreigners too.

Was in Udon Thani back in 2019 and hung out at Day and Night one evening with a lady friend, so I could not partake in any P4P. Will be returning to Udon Thani in a couple months, this time solo, and will be there for five days. Have been reading this thread and doing homework. It seems there are plenty of evening time opportunities at Day and Night and Nutty Park. From my homework it seems like the only possibilities for day time action is Oscars, which seems to have mixed reviews. Or, rather, I haven't read any outstanding reviews and mostly not so good reviews. Are there any possibilities for day time action? Do any ladies work during the day along the bars on the street where the Day and Night entrance is? I will post my experiences when I am there. Really excited about returning to Udon Thani. I much prefer the more laid back towns than the craziness in Bangkok. But I guess I'm just getting old. Hahaha.

As of a few months ago, yes, there's some girls around the street where Day and Night is located during the daytime. You won't have much trouble. Mostly massage girls (who surely do more), but some in various bars as well. Didn't partake, was just passing through.
