Thanks Opebo, yes I just confirmed that the other night as well (road leading opposite Rad disco all shuttered down its entire length). Also can report that 50 m to the right of the Chaipat hotel (to the right when leaving hotel), the massage place is closed down. No good news to report.

Not yet, no, alas. Totally dark last time I went through that little soi, and not even any girls hanging around. If you go to the other, slightly larger area of 'karaokes' (little brothels), they're totally closed as well, but you might find a few girls hanging out waiting to be taken out there in the dark - that's what I found a week or so ago.

I mean the very big old bus station, just a little bit north of downtown. In other words the main, most obvious bus station, not the small 'air-con' bus station for VIP buses to Bangkok. Finally I did also check out the late night scene around Khon Kaen bus station - still going along, not exactly strong, but not closed down either. Just be careful you find a real girl. 500-600 baht for awful looking ones, 700-800 for OK. Very few beauties, but there are a few quite doable.
