Both of us found little or nothing in Nakhon Panom. As you can see he reports there used to be some action on the Lao side of the river there. Anyway nothing in Nakhon Panom as far as anyone knows. If you find anything please share.

Just curious what others are paying for soi 7 meat. I was there a year ago and was quoted 700-900 for ST on soi 7 in the bungalows. I tried negotiating the 700 down to 600 and they wouldn't budge, so I walked.

As I tourist, I established the cheap price by going there on my own and paying the going rate. My friend who lives there, made the mistake of taking a tuk2 there. It took him 2-3 months of having to walk away before he got the real price. Breaking out of that price bracket is really a *****.

Have you ever been to Soi 7 where they present you with a line-up but don't have facilities on the premises and offer to take you and the lady of your choice to the "bungalow" instead?

Although the girls didn’t look half bad, I wasn’t quite comfortable with this option and passed on it.

However, it keeps intrigueing me, and I should appreciate to learn from someone with first-hand experience how this deal exactly works in practice.

There are a few things you could have improved on.

You got the high price at the brothals because you took a tuk2 there. They get a comish like the taxis that take you to ktvs in btm. The price is either 200-300.

Also, sounds like you went to early, but it may be for the better. If going at night, it is more dangerous as thais travel in packs and some like to fight when drunk. And they all are there to get drunk.

The virgin thing, I doubt it's true. It's probably a scam they dev. After a few farangs started requesting it, and got played.

Went to Udon Thani on 26 to 27 Jan 09. It's my first visit using information base on this forum.

Reach at 9am and check in hotel. Go to Soi 2 after lunch, almost all girls are still sleeping. ST price is 400B. Did not take any girl as all were still sleeping, but, papasan still open their room door to let me see their bodies.

Next tell tuk tuk drivers see if they could get me local school SYT. They have no idea at all despite I ask several tuk tuk drivers at different locations. Feel like taking next flight back to BKK.
