I can remember just a few years ago there still survived some regular houses on Soi Seven - particularly that one first one just on the left about 30 feet up a small subsoi. That was a nice place; does anyone else remember that one? But, for some reason the actual houses that operated on seven could not survive the great crackdowns of 2005-2007, while Sow Fie Dang and Soi Two are still with us, after a fashion, and of course, only for the moment.

To Goyave: the Udon streetwalker in your pic is very nice! Of course that is the thing about streetwalkers anywhere in the world - while the vast majority of them look bad, there is always that needle in a haystack pretty one out there that keeps us looking.

I tried a few times .you can see a line up at a place,(about 3 now) then go to bungalow ,about 10 to 30 meters. the rooms are somwhat dark. will cost you 100 bht if you go alone or 150 with tout. girls are 400 to 800bht depending on how new mama or papasam claim them to be.

Don't be afraid, it's safe. But it's also dearer than other places in the area and in my humble opinion, the girls are not much prettier (well, a little bit better though) than in the other brothels of Udon Thani.

I have been only once there and it was more than one year ago. I was first quoted 700 baht for one hour, but down to 500 baht after a little bit of haggling.

The rooms are not far away (a few hundred meters) and are much nicer and larger than in the other brothels (OK, that's not really difficult to achieve, but they are quite acceptable and with a bathroom with hot water for shower). But arrived there with the girl and one of the pimp's aide, I was asked 100 baht more for the room by the latter. So, that was actually 600 baht ST room included.

Session was OK, but not great (covered BJ and no anal). Therefore, I haven't come back since, but it's probably not too bad a deal for those who prefer more comfortable places and provided that you can get what you want with the girl of your choice.

Indeed, go West from the RWS, then a bend to the left - there is no other way to go. It might change name at that point, but I don't know... Then a few hundred meters on, there's a clearing left first and then at least two brothels also on the left.
Asking prices, like I said where in the B500-700 region, but I didn't test for bottom.
It's a nice alternative for those who refuse to pay B300 or less for ST or don't want to be seen at the RWS.

After the bend in ?Nivas Road, there is a right turn, and along there on the right are a number of shacks selling beer and girls. Not exactly brothels though

There are many bars in the same street and you probably can "barfine" the girls in most of them, but in my humble opinion the quality of talents in this area is so-so and the prices are often higher that one can expect (more expensive than Pattaya on average and sometimes even more than Bangkok!).

I only once found a girl to my taste in another bar of this area and she wanted 1500 baht ST! I'm not used to this kind of quotation (I'm in my early forties, can speak Thai not too bad, live daily in the Land of Smiles since 2003 and am an "handsome man" just like you all, guys!) especially in I-San, so, I did not partake (with her) and did not asked how much was the barfine (I suppose that it is probably 300 baht in most places in this street, but I can't say for sure).

Don't know how long you plan to stay in Udon, or where you plan to stay, but I highly recommend staying and the Ton Koon Hotel. Rooms are about 700 baht. Hotel staff very friendly, and hotel is owned by same Thai who owns the karaoke and massage place next door, so no hassle when bringing in girls to room. Good food, too. Girls who work next door are quite good looking. Yes, you can bar fine them, but I worked a private deal with my girls from the massage place and karaoke.

I visited some cheap kareokes which provided girls for 500 baht in Buriram. There is a little strip of maybe four or five of them along what appears to be Nivas road, after you go around the big curve as you take Nivas away from the train station/downtown, going West. However I think by that time, when you go around the big curve, you are actually on 'In Jandra Narong'. Not that it matters, but in case of confusion, that's what google maps says.

In any case, the places I visited were just past the big curve as described, on the left side of the road. Are these the ones in question?

When I visited they were quite a rogues gallery of unattractive ladies, and only one girl in the strip was appealing at 500 baht. My traveling companion and I had to take turns with her as no other girl was to our taste! Opebo was an honorable friend and accepted sloppy seconds. The report.
