The night portier call some girls and take with motorbike taxi to you in Suk Sun. Price was 800 Baht ST.

My experince was mostly good with the lao girls, but I can speak good thai / lao and can have conservations.

I travel many times in thailand, and the most Drive Inn ST hotels can offer your girls. But you must can speak thai!

You can make LT with Laos girls from the Thai Houses, but is very expensive.

The prices is for overnight about 3000-4500 baht depent of the age.

The Thai house scene is pretty much open all day (although it looks more lively in the afternoon). For those places I actually prefer daytime visits, since they're less busy and there are few drunk Thai mongers around (Thais are friendly, but it's still a bad idea to hang around drunk young men for too long while obviously out to fuck "their women".

The Farang oriented bar soi gets going in the evening, not sure how active it is in the afternoon (not much would be my guess, but I haven't visited in a while).

I wouldn't go to Udon for mongering if it's your first time in Thailand.

All 3 venues you're mentioning (SFD, Soi 3, Soi 6) are firmly oriented towards the Thai market. While many accept a stray Farang, they do so reluctantly (some pimps/mamasans are rude, some girls will refuse you), and you get a sense of not being really welcome. In those 3 venues, speaking Thai is a plus (they feel more comfortable), perhaps even necessary, though business is no rocket science, maybe you can get by with patience.

The surroundings are very basic, to put it mildly (as in filthy plywood cubicles). Moreover, service standards are nothing like in Pattaya, it's basically a wham-bam quickie with no frills, not the famous Thai GFE.

Sure, prices are low (300-600 baht in Thai-oriented venues), but not exactly value. In Pattaya you get 4 x the service quality (and time) for about 2 x the money. Besides, if you're an obvious newbie, they might jack up the prices..

In summary, the Thai brothel scene might be a change of scenery for a seasoned monger who speaks some Thai, is tired of the Pattaya and wants something different (overall worse, but still different). If you've mongered in many places and want to try that for adventure, go for it, but if you're looking for decent sex or relaxing feel-good times, you won't find them in Soi Fai Daeng.

Karin Hotel has excellent location (in the middle between Soi 2 and SFD), but is otherwise mostly crappy. Hard bed, no WiFi, hot water is hit-and-miss, water has coppery smell / taste (ancient plumbing). I'd go with Udon Green Ville (see udongreenville.com). Not sure whether it's monger friendly (haven't brought anyone in, if you're going to places you mentioned, service is mostly on the premises), but it is very close to SFD, and amazing value.

Udon also has the Farang bar alley, certainly more suitable for a first time visitor, but then it's like a tiny version of Pattaya, with no advantages over the real thing.

If you're an experienced mongerer then you might have a good time in Udon Thani. If you're not then I would not recommend going there. Bangkok and / or Pattaya are much better options.

You must realize that a lot of Isaan girls go to Bangkok or Pattaya so why would you want to go up there?
