I was at Bancocolmbia today could not take out 500 mil as here they limit you cause the security guard says Medellin too dangerous for 500 mil they only give out 400 mil. So I took 400 mil out twice and damn my last trip and when I came here 400 mil was always a 200 dollars taken from my bank now its 209.

I looked at the currency exchange website one of them and its now Cop 1890. Damn not good. How come they keeps aying the dollar is rebounding. Just cause its getting stronger agiainst the euro does not mean shit in South America. IN Peru too its still 2. 85 soles to the dollar.

Maybe I should go to DR Next year. Shit by the time end of the year comes with the dollar dropping I bet it will be 1600 that would not shock me. Thanks Mister Nobama what fucking change. Nothing Man. This is pissing off my day very big time.

I noticed to in the section of dollar verse peso no one is posting anymore. Why is that? Now is the time to have a converstation on this.

At least Argentina is at 3. 80 still.

I have been to DR many times before Medellin. I can tell you. Hobbying is DEFINITELY not cheaper. As mentioned, the minimum is $30 for ST. And that is from a mulata. In general DR has too many mulatas. I prefer lighter and it's just too expensive down there for those. Hotels anywhere outside of Sosua is actually quite expensive. In Sosua, you can find some nice hotels for like 30-35. Outside of Sosusa, it's like 50+. I didn't check the dumps though. I like to stay in a cheap decent place. But not dump cheap. The only thing I miss about DR is the beach. LOL

lot of gringos say dr more expensive but my local igas and amigos say cheaper or just the same and i will try to stay in like la vega santiago or santo domingo not the expensive resort cities. i already have a santiago girl that i can stay at hr place in the outskirts of santiago or stay at my own place. she said her villa i think villa gonzalez is totally safe and lots of gringos all over santiago or at least some. she told me it would be 40 a month in her barrio. sounds like lima peru prices. she said though in santiago city a 150 a month. still not that bad.

i also can travel around to oter cities always as the dr is short distances compared to colombia and less spending on buses and immigation i heard is a breeze even way better then peru mexico or anywher else.

from my experience the dr is hit or miss on prices depending on how you handle the negotiations. almost all the action comes from free lancers.

you won't find medellin el centro casa pricing here(not for quality that is). there are deals to be struck for around $30 us short time but it doesn't get into the $teens like in colombia(maybe a few hatian girls). if you are willing to pay between $30 and $45 for short time you will find something. again it depends on who you meet.

dr girls are hardcore hustlers. you need to be very assertive in dealing with these girls. they are used to a fast ny crowd and big money hip hop ballers throwing around "change".

you on the other hand have the advantage of experience and the flexibility to stay in cheaper digs. that puts you at a financial advantage over other mongers. remember though it is humid as shit down there. a room without ac is suicide imho. chicas will not dig being in your room. rooms with ac start at $40/45 on average and higher.

transportation is ok if you use the main bus line "caribe tours". prices are reasonable and so are the distances between each place. however i can tell you from experience that you will feel somewhat stranded if you don't have a car or driver even when you get to your location. you can use colectivos but you will find out those are limited too.

i have the same problem with any caribbean island i have been to. it is very expensive to move around and i am usually stuck in a very small area. food can also be a big expense if you are picky.

some people like to just sit at a bar and drink all day. i like to explore and it's hard to do on the cheap in el caribe without a local friend.

I should of posted this in The Dr section but no oneis replying to my last post there. I like Colombia a lot but man sometimes the prices here on hotels traveling and food can be quite expensive compared to Peru Argentina Ecuador Or Bolivia. Well at least the cheap hotels here have cable tv even sometimes a restaraunt. Its better then Panama where from 6 to 10 bucks you stay in a flea shack or a crack hotel just about like I did once in Panam city in the buisness district area.

Anyways with the dolar dropping at 1900 and when you travel in Colombia going especially north buses are damn costly at least for latin prices in the same situation as Mexico long distance buses and Das fucks you up every month for 40 bucks when in reality a Das run with all the waitaingand taxis can cost from 60 to 80 bucks totally depending which Das yu go and if they send you back agin its anoter long taxi run.

I guess what I am trying to say in generl is I might not return to Colombia late this year or next year as the dollar could be at 1600 by then.

I think each day you oversay in Dr its like only 2 dollars or someting or even less I heard I heard real cheap.

Das are pricks they are just as bad as Brazilian customs. Why Das charges after two months and so much. Again In Lima it would be simlpe and I could take a bus to immigration and it would not cost me more then 30 bucks.

I also see in Colombia sometimes cheap hotels in shit areas like I sqw in Centro Bello which is ugly in that area. Nice to visit Bello but in reality noy nice like Envigado Or Itagiu and the hotel there in centros hould be 15 mil not 30 mil.

I guess in general is what I am saying is If I can survive Colombia with its jacked up prices why not The DR?

When I get to Dr I am at my amigas place and looking for an apartment right away. Maybe hotels a little more there for sure but then again to many cities in Colombia like places like Puerto Lopez which has really nothing there and damn bang 50 mil a night for a shithoe city. A friend of mine from Ecuador visited Buga to see agirl he said nothing there only churches and dead on sundays and end of week they charge 35 mil and weekdays 20 mil.

Again anothe Colombian phenomenom I can't fihure out shit city with nothing to do an expensive hotel and at least the peso is stable to the dollar in DR.

Again not saying its cheaper then Colombia but in some aspects like traveling and immigration it will probably come at the same costs as Colombia.

Also Colombian history with the dollar is so up and down especially now. Who knows it could get to 1400 in Colombia. Anything is possible here and again in DR you always know the prices are damn stable there.

Ok then I will get going. I still think Dr will come to same prices in hel ong run with a cheap place to stay and just doing amatuer girls and geting a place to stay right away for I don't spend on expensive hotels there. Again Again sorry for this word I keep saying had to post this here caus like I said I doubt anyone will respond to me inThe DR section.

Also to artissty and others Lima has way more fuck places 24-7 then Medallo and fucking day. Sure this trip I discovered more places all over Medallo and outlying areas but Lima is fun lot of places.

To you guys complaing that in Lima it takes all day to find these places I love it. That shit keeps me busy Mongering all day and I bus it all day cheaply all day to these daytime fuck places in Lima. Only if I am way up in Comas or coming going to Trocadero at night I will taxi back.

Anyways as you can see I more or less report. These days I am in bed with many more amatuers then pros. Check my reports mostly I just stumble in to places and look around. Very nice post Nibu, and from reading back through many of your posts, this might be the best one you have ever written. Continue to live your life as it makes you happy, as that is all that is important. You are very correct, life is to short to be arguing over nonsense, and I most certainly do not believe in violence. I never have been one to start confrontations, as I look at myself as a lover and not a figher, but at the same time if I am confronted I will defend myself, and my family and friends. I joined the Marines upon my graduation from high school in 1986, doing my basic training in Camp Pendleton, and ended up retiring from the military in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, 20 years later, and now reside in the sunshine state of Florida. Now I am enjoying a life of freedom at a age that most people still have to work fulltime. I get my pension, and I have invested wisely, so I now when I still have good health, a good mind, I am enjoying life to the fullest. I am also single, never married, and ended up initially in Medellin through a friendship I established while in the military with a fellow Marine whose girlfriend was formally from Medellin, and who introduced me to several of her friends, one in particular I took an interest in, and who moved back to Medellin from the United States. We eventually found out we never had the chemistry necessary for a relationship, as it was almost like a brother/sister type of relationship, but she remains one of my best friends today, and she has introduced me to many of her girlfriends in Medellin, but for some reason after being in the military for so long, I hate commitment and responsibilities, and I now just want to live my life feeling free of any emotional or mental attachments, or responsibilities to anyone, other than myself.

As far as the music I listen to, I listen to all types of music Nibu, from classical to classic rock and roll, to rap/hiphop, to reggaeton, and spanish rock. I do speak spanish. It is not fluent, but very close. I am a stickler for pronunciation, and this is what I need to improve on.

Have you heard from those people who have been threatening you? As I stated to you, pay them no mind, as I am sure they are all talk, and only want to instill fear in you. They are all probably well educated, and would never put themselves in a situation that might cause them conflict or consequences for something that is not effecting there well being. If you were causing harm to there families etcetera that would be another story.

I will be in touch with you when I have my plans in place to return to Medellin which will be soon, as I love the city, the climate, the opportunities, and the many friendships I have established there.

Although I was not there, from what I heard the Parque Lleras http://www.romancelatina.com/ party was not exactly what it was supposed to be for various reason. Mostly the place had to be changed at the last minute. But not because they are scammers. RL does not make any money from parties.

The entrance fees were supposed to cover free drinks for girls, several drinks for guys and the place rental. I believe finally everybody ended up having lots of free drinks. For Parque Lleras its not a bad deal at all.

If somebody complains spending $15 for several drinks with girls in Parque Lleras, than he must be in a wrong place.

The parties are a good promotion vehicle for their website. After seeing the pics, I signed up for their website again. I have to admit. There seems to be hotter women on there now. Maybe more prepagos but who cares. I do like the idea of these parties because MDE doesn't have any freelance club.

That is why they associate with each other. Pay them no mind dude. The motto of "birds of feather flock together" applies here, and recognize they are all mental patients. I came on to that Pura site through an associate of the weasels who knows him from Florida, and this guy told me how much of a jerk he is even when he is not behind the computer screen. I am sure they would never mess with me if they seen me in Medellin, as I am six five, weigh 220, and quite fit, and I am black. Not to many people challenge me, and most are always joking to me about my size, especially the girls. The circle jerkers only picked on you because you are normal size. hi i was trying to check if there was pay for play at metro cisneros tonight as i told there probably was to artistty but i did stumble upon like 3 real low dirt bars with girls in there and in the street there by the cheap hotels. this was walking from cisneros metro to san antonio metro. it was on calle 45 and cra 53 aka cundinmarca but the girls looked very scummy and maybe **** too.

ok also going in to parque san antonio looks like semi pros there sometimes. then if you walk down at the bottom of parque san atonio that street behind exito keep walking a few blocks south and your in that zone behind calle 33 with the ugly sw skanks tvs and glue sniffer ****rs stay away from that zome. if there try calle 33 the bus stop or those clubs bars with pros i mentioned was by the exposiociones or industriales metro. its the metro where you get off on calle 33. i mentioned this like a week before or so. anyways probably the most secure are the girls right around the corner from san diego bar next to the other bar next to san diego or a block behind that bar but careful on ladrones in the back street there.

Nibu, I have to disagree with you here. RL serves a purpose for Medellin because there is no real freelance bar here. Sure you can call out the girls one by one, but where are you going to find a bunch of young paisas in one spot? It's a bonus for gringos that don't speak the language much because they can pretty much guarantee being able to take one home whereas it's hit or miss in a regular club. I haven't been to a RL party but I've seen some pictures.. I'm going to have a field day collecting numbers next time! =)
