I've read that both Orchard Parade and Orchard Hotel near Orchard Towers are good places near the Towers. Any preference by you guys or others near the Towers? I'd say my price range is less than $200 and I think these two are 100-150 ish.

You seem to have missed the top post in this thread before you posted.

Best to check hotel websites and booking agencies to see what deals they have going for the time of your visit. Often bargains to be had.

Don't be a Naive newbie do some more research if you only have a 150 s a day budget you are not able to stay at orchard hotel or do any mongering at Orchard tower, everything in Singapore is expensive I think you should go to a cheaper country to play.

Unless there is some freaky promo, not less than 240 $ for any hotel in orchard.

I am discounting those using Hyatt or Hilton Reward points.

I was not asking about the hotel quality, but asking about which way would be better to enjoy with 150's $ budget. Spend the money for hotel and walk around Orchard tower? Or spend only about 1/3 and enjoy the 2 places hanging around by taxi?

I searched the thread and saw Fragrance hotels, but I was not sure Fragrance Ruby is also girl friendly.

I am staying for 5 nights and one more question is that do you think it would be better to stay at Fragrance Ruby and take a taxi to go to and come back from Orchard tower with the partner or would it be better to stay at Orchard hotel just opposite of Orchard tower?

I also want to hang around Geylang area, but I don't know if it is worth hanging around there for more than 2 or 3 nights.

Did you do some research yourself or you just want ISG member to answer all your questions, there is a big different in price Orchard hotel is a 5 star hotel cost 240 usd a night and Fragrance hotel is a 3 star hotel in a red light district cost 60 usd a night the room is tiny and the bed is small and hard, I will ask do you want to bang a low end Thai or Indo girl at Genylang for 60 usd or a hot Russian girl at Orchard tower for 200 usd.

I am thinking of staying at Fragrance Ruby Hotel in Geylang area.

Can somebody confirm if this hotel is girl friendly? And do they record lady visitors?

In addition, how much would it cost to Orchard Road. At night by taxi?

As said, yes yes. Girl must have passport or valid ID.

Taxi, if you take metered taxi, between 10 to 15 $ depending on time of the day.

Black Chrysler, 20 $ upwards.

If you take there tout illegal taxis, pay what you like, from 50 $ upwards.

Selegie road is just a few blocks from City Hall and has a Hotel 81 and a Fragrance Hotel nearly side-by-side. Both are short time hotels.
