I think it is reasonable to assume that anyone contemplating staying at the YWCA would not be reading this forum.

You might even say that a YWCA is not MAN friendly.

Now hold on, not EVERY hotel in our beloved Singapore is girl friendly. The YWCA Ft. Canning Lodge is not girl friendly. At least not OUR kind of girl friendly. 😎.

    Hotel 8?

I've provisionally booked into Hotel 81- Premier Hollywood and Premier Star in Geylang for around 160 euro for 4 nights. Can anyone advise if these are girl friendly? If not, something similar price range in area but GF?

    Thanks.

I have found that a girl who enjoys a walk is more likely to be better in bed than a whiny princess who says " Oh 400 metre too far, take me taxi taxi ".
You do have a point. I'll check the closest route to and from the hotel and gauge from there. It can be a nice walk to maybe get things going.

    One Farrer GF?

I realise that the standard response is "all Singapore hotels are GF" but has anyone actually stayed at the One Farrer Hotel just off the Serangoon Road & taken girls back? If so, were there any problems?

Nobody asking questions or even looking at you when you enter the lobby. The walk of shame is about 25 meters to the elevator, but lobby was completely empty at the time I entered (1 AM). I don't know if they are even available, but no need to book smoking room as they all have a balcony to have a smoke in between of your shots. Location less than 1 minute from OT, maybe 5 min taxi drive to Brix. However, if you want to spend your money in Brix you probably won't mind spending a bit more on your hotel as well and have different standards. To me, this is a 3,5 star and living up to that. Good place.
How much did you pay? I'm seeing quotes of 135 a night with taxes.

Agreed. I stayed there one night last trip before I moved to the Concorde for the week, and it was very nice and conveniently located to OT. I may book there for a trip in Sept. For the F1; I currently have a room booked at Innotel Hotel due to price, but I'm going to keep looking. Would prefer to stay closer to OT to save cab fares. I don't mind taking the train if I decide to hit Geylang or other RLD type area.

This forum not doing deep quoting (ie, only quotes most recent poster) can cause issues like this. I agree that it appears that was the intent, but based on the context your response wasn't completely out of line.
