Over the years and many travels, I've been in quite a lot of places where there is action: In legal brothels in Nevada, Bangkok, Paris, Amsterdam, Montreal, Pattaya, Amsterdam, Tijuana, L. A. And S. F, Buenos Aires and couple of other remote places as well. As I usually goes around this place for travel (not all as you can see some of the destination) , I'm usually busy with some stuff and the part about girls comes as the extra to make some fun. Being not of the hunter type with so little time to spend for this, I usually need a fast way to get to the business. Let me tell you, Kharkov is really frustrating. But I do mean it. The pro scene is absolutely DEAD. There are NO escort agency whatsoever, the ads for personals are in Russian, you need to subscribe to sites and send messages and hope to get an answer. You need to go through some kind of dating, which I have no time (or will) to go through. So yes, Kharkiv as a really high number of beautiful women. But it brings along a lot of frustration. It reminds me when I was 18yo and couldn't get all the girls I wanted but had a strong strong libido. So yes, if you are willing to be extremely adventurous, really dedicated, you will get something, like in ANY city of this planet. But the point is, for a city that big, there is obviously something going on that prevent from delivering this kind of service I'm used to in big cities. On the bright side, partying is really active and woman as I said earlier are amazingly beautiful. Have fun but drop the idea of waving easily on an ocean of girls. For me to take time to write this review as I'm still in Kharkiv is to tell you how much free time I have.

first. august a good time? i am not sure. harry hirsch is correct. it is a student city. however, i have not noticed any fall off in the number of women available. august is a good time to sit in the park with a beer and just watch women walk by in shorts or short dresses. (and they always dress well over here.)

is it easy to approach girls in kharkov? i think the answer to that is "maybe". how good is your russian? if it is even relatively minimal, they will work with you. at clubs you can find women. also, ask one of your ukrainian friends or even the right taxi driver.

if you are coming to kharkov, there is a site "mamba. kiev. ua". they have a english version. there you can search for all types of women of all ages. this is not a website for escorts. but about 1/4 of the women there are probably offering money for sex. (some are very direct in this, some are not. but you can read between the lines. for example: a 24 year old who wants to meet with 50 year olds for one-night stand. duh). i have met many ladies from this site.

if you don't speak russian. use a translator. i speak some russian but still use a translator for speed.

kharkov is somewhat conservative town. you will not find a lot of strip clubs, there are a few places where sw hang out. but there is a lot of interesting action in town, some of it underground, for those intrepid enough to visit.

nice, what do you think one could pick up a good apartment in the centre for? jacuzzi spacious doublebed etc etc you know the drill. not those well overpriced online agents. a cool place to impress as you know.

It isn't, Kharkiv is a student city, in Juli and August the most students at home and in Holiday.

Kharkiv's worth a visit. My ex GF lived there, so I did not have much chance to hobby. But it's a big student city, and freebies are very easy judging by the amount of eye contact flirting I discreetly managed. Couple of strip bars there, and Stare Gorod (old Town) is a wonderful bier-kellar type hall.

Poltava is a decent stop off city, but not sure of action. It's quite a large place so bound to be some, but some Russian almost essential here.

In Poltava, the Museum of Aircrafts is worth a visit. There the last of the Ukrainian TU-160 strategic bombers is on display. A real beauty of an aircraft. NATO code Blackjack, Russian nickname: "White Swan". Look up the tech specs or search on youtube for a video ...
