How did you initially choose Kharkov as your destination to be a foreign-exchange student?

If you enrolled at Karazin State University, that place brings back many fond memories, so many pretty ladies there. I was very fortunate to have a number of friendships there with students and professors, including invitations to visit classes there for several years. There was a student lounge, I think up on the sixth or seventh floor, in between classes we could sit and chat drinking tea, cute ladies always coming and going in such great abundance. The true definition of Candyland!

About the websites you mentioned, other than the lady you said signed up on atolin for 'adventures', would you say that most of the ladies on atolin were searching for sponsorships, or just to hook up with a guy to get laid? And what is the other website you wrote, Ukraine? Ukraine what?

I was a full-time student there, not an exchange one It is really difficult to explain how I moved there, let's just say I wasn't into South Asian girls or life there, and I liked Eastern Europe more.

At this point I am curious about you. Were you there for exchange? How long? Did / do you speak Russian?

Yes, my favorite faculty was on 7th floor, for innostranniy yazik (foreign languages) - the best looking girls IMHO. I think this faculty attracts best talent (read: pretty girls who usually aren't good about studying and dream of going abroad / work and travel to USA) in almost all unit's in Ukraine / Russia.

I am a little concerned about my identity, so I'll be a little vague about my own personal description. I am from a South Asian country, not well-off at all and I was both studying and working on my own website in Kharkiv. Like some other guys, I was into pick-up and 'game' - and at times I met few PUAs quite popular around the web when they were in Ukraine. Interestingly, I realized quite early when you have to game and when you have to. Just take it easy. Anyhow, my biggest plus was. I was young, a little different / exotic, and learned Russian very quickly on my own. I had no money, so I could not just rely on sponsorship.

I didn't read through entire forum but I reckon here people are more into pay-and-play.

I used a combination of online and offline search. Learned how to filter search on vk more effectively. 18-19 yr old girls were my target, as this is the age when they are finishing their 11th class at school and entering university, big change etc. Usually girls who lived in hostel are easy prey. All in all, I am more knowledgeable about gaming / pick up stuff in Ukraine.

Nonetheless, I did find some two sites that I have found are still not swarmed by hordes of foreigners. One of them is atolin (dot) ru and another is Ukraine.

Again, atolin has plenty of fakes but plenty of real girls too. How do I know? Because plenty of my ex-girlfriends' friends were on these websites. Vk is still the best way to go but it is only good if you are in the country for at least a month and don't rely solely on cash. Atolin is not a sure shot either. One of my ex girlfriend's friend there signed up because she was suggested by someone else and was open to 'adventures', and on the other hand, often you've fakes there which are easy to spot. Not reliable because many girls don't sign up there that often either. Escortnews is more reliable as one of my acquaintance is on it even.

I'd say it is very easy to find a young, amateur girl under 1000-1500 UAH (60 Euro), if you negotiate nicely.

I have no experience with massage house or whatever though.

I stayed at Chichikov Hotel. The hotel was almost empty so the service was great! The 4 star hotels in downtown is about 30 USD a night so I do not see the point of renting an apartment.

At hotel, you get clean sheets everyday, free water, coffee and breakfast. They call you a taxi when needed. When you call in an escort, the escorts behave, they know they been on security cameras when they walk in with you. So no stealing or running away before rendering services. The safe box is also a plus.

Some escort agencies and massage parlor number gone bad already. The massage places that are still open have 2-3 girls at most.

The escort agencies had no problem sending us girls every night in 20-30 minutes. The problem is the liar managers. They say the girl is 18, she turns out to be 23. They say she is 19 she turns out to be 28 so do not be afraid to send back girls when you do not like them. Just pay their taxi ride. Its 100 to 150 UAH. Then call manager and ask again. She will keep sending you new ones till you find what you like.

Some websites say 350-500 UAH for an hour outcall, do not expect those to be real. You will be quoted 600-800 UAH when you call those ads.

They also try to rip you off on taxi fees. 2nd night the cab driver asked 300 UAH for the ride, same company sent us girls for 150 the night before. We told him to get lost and gave him 150. He was still happy.

The ride from airport to downtown hotels should be 70-90 UAH depending on how far they drive around to jack a few more grivnas! At the airport he taxi sharks will ask you if you need a taxi and they will ask 250-300 UAH, just tell them 50*70 UAH to start with and you can ride for 90-100 UAH!

I will be staying in both Kiev and Kharkov in July and was thinking the same thing. Stay in a hotel where there are girls in the lobby / bar at night. My last trip east was to Moscow and I always stay in the Cosmos because it is so easy to find a girl at night down in the lobby area.

I don't get to the Kharkov Palace often since the unrest started and my company has no guests in town, but I have never seen a lot of girls in the top floor bar. (It is a nice place, just not girls). Of course, I have always been with girl when I was there, so perhaps I wasn't looking hard enough.

They are some relative nice salons around about a 10 minute walk or less from the hotel. It is in the center of town and a very safe area. A couple of strip clubs about the same distance.

I will be staying in both Kiev and Kharkov in July and was thinking the same thing. Stay in a hotel where there are girls in the lobby / bar at night. My last trip east was to Moscow and I always stay in the Cosmos because it is so easy to find a girl at night down in the lobby area.

Again. Glad to report that Kharkov is still a peaceful and pleasant place as ever. The salons are still active and hungry for business. Especially since the hryvna has fallen to 14 UAH /$ and their are no (well, very few) foreigners in town. Last week I had a nice friend that I met on the Mamba board come over. My friend Irina is what I will call a semi-professional. Works by day but then will supplement her meager income by night if the opportunity presents itself. She spent most of the evening. I paid her 400 UAH. (At 14 UAH /$ - under $30). And she was happy.

As long as the war stays away from Kharkov, it is an interesting place to visit from a mongering perspective. Especially if you know a little of the culture and language.

I am glad (and relieved) to report that as of today, Kharkov is still a safe and peaceful town. The shops are all open. There are no protests. The local government does a pretty good job about keeping that under control.

The local massage salons are open and active. Prices have remained constant at around 400 UAG - 600 UAH depending on what you like (that is about $35 - $50 0 - and the $50 is for 90 min). Mamba has about the same number of women on it as normal. Not checked on prices there. I still see the street action along Moskovskovo after 10 PM.

So. Overall - as long as it remains peaceful. Kharkov is open and ready for visitors should anyone be interested. .

I was planning on going to Kharkov in the Spring. I have already pay for my airline ticket. Maybe thing will quite down by then or everything will go to hell.
