[QUOTE=But in most countries - including USA and UK - there are laws against publishing pictures of people without their written consent.[/QUOTE]Wow. Well, there's this one website called http://www.youtube.com that OCCASIONALLY has video of people in public places who I strongly suspect haven't provided their written consent. You think that maybe they are at risk of liability? Someone should point this out to them. What about webcams in public places? Additionally, based on the content of some photos in tabloids of celebrities, I would doubt that written consent is typically obtained prior to publishing.

Posts: 4567thanks dot for your angle on law. you made a point about "publishing" which i assume means printing pictures for money. does that apply to my posting pictures for free on a web site, which i assume makes money? my reply is not meant for you directly, just food for thought.
hard to research japanese law since it's written in kanji. i've followed the news about the recent privacy laws, which were very controversial -- but also aimed at the news media. the news media proclaimed that the new law would hinder proper news gathering, and also give the gov't unprecedented rights to control media. in the latter case, i suspect the law may give police ways to control anyone taking a picture of anything and anyone. (yes, i exagerrate)
watch the news any night, and you might find a news camera trying to peer into the window of some alleged perpatrator's home. what makes that okay??? i would not even consider trying to take a picture into someone's window. but if i take pictures of a beautiful woman on the beach???

You have to research the laws of the country you are visiting to know, how to avoid getting problems, not only for photography, also for behaviour in general - like don't throw garbage on the street in Singapore.

Posts: 4567I just realized there is no "photo chit chat" thread on the Japan board, so I guess this is the only place to have this discussion.
Thanks for the comment Techrepjapan. The pics of three gals, well, you can see that they are posing. I actually took a few picture with THEIR camera before I used my own.
The others are all candid.
I wonder what law can be used against someone who is taking pictures in a public place (innocently / not for profit / no complainant). "Public nuisance" is one of those vague laws that come to mind. Granted, the wardrobe malfunction photo is crossing the line, but where do we draw the line?
I'd also like to know two by four's opinions, although I'd rather read the logic rather than name-calling. For example, what do you see to be the problem? The fact that I took the pictures at all, or the fact that I posted them on a website where people communicate about sex?

Attached is a photo taken of the Awaodori in Koenji which takes place this weekend. Great for photos and easy to chat up that ladies. Just don't get arrested!

I have seen several TV reports of the J-Police arresting men taking photos at the beach. The girls in question did not make a complaint. While some of the men taking photos were doing so to make a profit, other men were doing so innocently.
Again. I think your photos are fine and harmless. I'm just bringing it up for your information.

I had some luck with AFF for the Tokyo area a few years back, but it took more effort than I was willing to put in to it. I found I had better luck dragging my net at the train stations and Starbucks.
I had to do business on a regular basis in Nagoya for four months earlier this year. I renewed my AFF membership just for 30 days. That was a much better score ratio and worth my time, money and effort.
It's interesting to read a few folks have had the same experiances with AFF.

I've used AFF in the past. With mixed results. Personally. Time vs. Costs vs. Positive results is not worth the effort.
Yes. Some folks are making a lot of money with AFF, but that is the nature of this game.

I'd read a few reports about YuYu in Gotanda and also looked it up on Tokyo Pink Guide, so decided to try it yesterday.
Printed the access map from it's website and got myself to Gotanda (West exit) at 6 pm and phoned the number on the map. The Japanese guy at the other end of the phone was pleasant enough, and when I said in fairly fluent Japanese, 'Watashi wa nihongo dekiru no gaikokukjin, yoroshii desu ka?', he said fine, no problem. Not sure how it would work out if you had literally no Japanese, but my hunch is that even with rudimentary beginner level Japanese, it would be OK.
He told me he had no gals available at that moment, but I could call back at 7. Went and had a drink then called back an hour later. He gave me directions by phone as I walked--about 3 minutes from the station, 7th floor of a fairly generic building.
The place will definitely not win any interior design awards--cramped, approaching shabby. Nonetheless, it didn't look much worse than a few places I've been to! He charged me 8,500 for 60 mins and told me the gal was slim and could speak English.
I waited a few minutes in the 'waiting room, and then proceeded to meet Rie., who took my back to her 'room'--quite narrow, and 'functional' with not much more than a narrowish bed and a night stand, but clean and not too bad. We showered together and then back to the room, where I got a pretty short cursory massage, then CBJ, then, to my surprise, full service (as though full service is just their normal, default OS). Altogether, the shower, massage and 'action' took about 30 minutes. For the rest of the time, we lay on the bed together, fondling a bit, and chatting, until the tencho knocked after an hour to say it was time. A second pop would have been perfectly OK, but, to tell the truth, I was just enjoying our chat session.
As for Rie, a nice-looking, bright, very pleasant, Chinese gal in her late 20s or early 30s, who, though not really providing strong GFE, is very sweet, accomodating and nice. She is a univ grad, speaks fluent Japanese and English, and is very interesting to talk to. She is also quite health-conscious, washing very carefully in the shower, then in the room spraying my cock, her pussy and hands with an anti-microbial (that was a first for me in one of these joints!), and then asking me if it is OK to use a condom for BJ. As she said, being 'anzen' (safe) is important.
All told, a very pleasant, satisfying experience and well worth the price. The only downside is the shabby look of the place, and the CBJ (rather than BBBJ--though for you health-conscious lads out there, this could be an upside). One caveat is that Rie will be leaving very soon to return to China. I'll therefore look forward to reading a report from one of you fellow mongers who tries a different YuYu gal!

PS: Any of you know of any Gaijin friendly massage or health places in Shibuya? I used to use Heiseijogakuin, but the Shibuya branch seems to have become gaijin un-friendly, according to fairly recent reports on this thread.

How long did it take you to land her, by the way?
