And another thing, in my experience the vast majority of girls know when sex is just sex. They may entertain romantic dreams and intentions, but I've found the majority are happy settling into just a casual sex relationship as long as it fits into their parameters. Being on holiday with a guy is most definitely within almost every girl's parameters. I don't know if she is Ukrainian or Russian, but Russian girls are very realistic about life and very easy-going once you get to know them AND you are a presentable companion in what they consider their social class. This is a subject in itself. Ukrainian girls are fruitier and in many ways, stupider and flakier.

Put it this way, when they want to get something from a man, Russian girls are cunning whereas Ukrainian girls are conniving.

Only exceptions that would mean you aren't getting laid on opening night are that I can think of would be if there was absolutely no physical attraction, she was a truly cunning and gutsy shark who will ask for money, or she was a truly vindictive and mean man-hating wench or she was a virgin and holding out for real commitment.

The first I don't know about, but the last 3 exceptions seem rather unlikely to me... and in cases of 2 and 3 you could kick her out and pursue other girls, case 4 would be a judgement call if you want to be "that guy".

Well if you buy an e-ticket, it has to be in her name and she doesn't physically need the ticket to get a boarding pass, her passport will do. You can still kick her out of your hotel room I suppose.

Nonetheless, I propose a more conventional method... just be charming, a bit romantic and get some drink in her and she'll put out if you put the moves on.

If she doesn't I'd be really surprised, she knows you aren't inviting her out of the pure goodness of your heart.

In my opinion a shark wouldn't behave this way. What good would it do her to get a free trip to Turkey if she plans on holding out on you? She'd know you'd be pissed and might kick her out of the room or worse. Doesn't sound like she'd have much to gain from that.

I agree with Doctor Skank - I have made the attempt to invite 3 Russian women on a mini-vacation with me. On all three occasions I had not previously had sex with the ladies. The result on two of the three girls was sex on the first night we arrived on location (and every morning, noon and night thereafter) and with the third one...... well, let's just say the offer was enough to smoke out a phony and I never heard from her again.

BTW - this is a funny story actually because with the first of the three, we had actually slept together without sex not once but TWICE. I think life in Russia is tough. I don't think any Western man, no matter how much time you have spent there, can truly appreciate how difficult life is in eastern Europe, particularly for a woman. And I'm not talking about the paiyushina trusi or the fashionistas with the oligarch boyfriends, who inhabit the night clubs of Moscow. I'm talking about regular girls; working girls, single moms, studyentki, etc.

Which reminds me of something else I admire about Russian women: just like the ballerina, they can suffer through the most agonizing pain and yet look absolutely beautiful doing it. Maybe that's why Russians make the best ballerinas, for them it's just like life.

American women have it pretty easy nowadays. They live in a society that they have crafted themselves for their own comfort and security. They don't really need men for much of anything anymore, except maybe an emotional connection, now and then, and some regular sex (jeez, they're worse than us!). As you point out, the only question they might ask is, "Where is this relationship going?"

But for the Russian woman, it's a whole different ball game. Because life is so difficult, she needs a man who will be like a wall behind her back. Again, this is not exclusive to Russian / Slavic women but they seem to have put their own twist on it.

Everything is going fine. You're getting along, the sex is good, she might even be letting you do anal once every few times. And the all of a sudden from left field, she makes a wild-ass accusation that could almost be interpreted as jealousy. But it's not REALLY an accusation but more like a grenade. She "lobs" one in there to stir up the shit knowing full well that there's a pretty fair chance you will say, "I don't need this shit" and walk out the door.

Whereas American (and other Western) women will give you the, "I just know where we are going with this relationship" line, the Russian / Slavic girls will lay it out on the line, take a HUGE risk and provoke the crap out of you almost "DARING YOU" to walk out the door and confirm their worst fear that you don't really like (love) them and that you are really just deceiving them and treating them like the worthless wastrels they really are.

The trick is to actually find one that is immune to Americanization. After I got lucky and found one here at Blockbuster one day, I was with her on and off for 2 years, and in all that time, she never wore make up, she always stayed quiet, except when we would have an argument, but that was actually part of her russian craziness, and had nothing to do with being in the USA. But unlike all the annoying american chicks, she never messed with the radio in my car, she never got greedy. In bed, she stayed the same shy sweet girl, who would wait 20 minutes after sex laying together before she got up to go wash. She never took anything of mine, never looked through my stuff, never ate very much, never would try any drugs of any kind, she even kept her little occasional body odor, if I caught a whiff, I'd just take her in the shower and scrub her up. It's true, Russians can be very "deep": both men and women. Not sure if that's a matter of nature or nurture. I think if I lived my whole life in Russia, I would be deep also. Russians went from the tyranny of the Tsar, to the tyranny of the Bolsheviks and then the Soviets, with hardly a chance to take a breath. Just a few months between the March revolution and the October revolution. Perhaps they've been living that way for so long, depression has been genetically hard-coded.

I've known quite a few Russian women here in the States and they do seem to pull out of it, once they have a chance to live in "normal" (and I use that term advisedly) western society. But then, there is a whole 'nother problem as they become Americanized. Which requires that you find another "untouched" Russian beauty.

Other than that, I can't think of anything else I don't like about Russian women. I can certainly think of many more things I like about Russian women than I don't like.

With Russian / Slavic men it usually manifests itself in the form of fighting and drinking (not that there's anything wrong with that). But with the devushkas, when the dark side comes around watch out. And you ALL know what I'm talking about. While the latinas start screaming and throwing things around, the Russian / Slav girls get weird. Like a strange cloud of doom that descends over the room. If you are lucky they ignore you and give in to the urge to clean the house (again, not necessarily a bad thing), but sometimes it can be a huge pain in the ass with the crying and self loathing and depression that sometimes looks almost suicidal. While these traits are not exclusive to Russian / Slavic women by any means, they seem to have perfected a brand of this behavior and made it their own.

Now, if you are watching the football or looking to make a quick exit to go have beers with your pals, this can be viewed as a positive. But if it's affection you are looking for - FORGET IT. While the "cloud of doom" is visiting you might as well be trying to mate with an iceberg.
