At the risk of publicly impugning my manhood, I have to confess that I don't have a clue as to what I would do with all the women Doc has on the line. I mean, I have a real good idea of what I would do with 1 or 2, and I can sure imagine what would be possible with 3, 4, or 5; beyond that, the image begins to blur. But 30 or 40 women at the same time? That defies comprehension. At least, my comprehension.

There is an old saying, "we are, by our possessions, possessed". When it comes to сехс в Большом Городе (sex in the city), I guess the question is: at what point do we mange the dyeffki in our lives, and at what point do they begin to manage us?

But to what end is indeed the question.

I've already changed some things and have a better grip on things. Nonetheless, I realise that I am constantly at risk. Unfortunately for me, I've never been good at letting go or breaking up... so trimming the roster isn't going to be effortless.

Dr S, I know your pain, the proverbial kid in the candy store. I think the solution is just to have one main girl (two?) open to dating girls on the side (together or solo). I actually have two of those in Kyiv but I haven't been able to get them to accept each other, probably a bit of the queen bee syndrome I would think. Ironically, one of the best gifts I received was from a country girl I flew in for a fuck-filled 3 day holiday in the big city (we'd discussed that earlier in this forum). On my way out to the office, I'd handed her the equivalent of $300 in spending money. Trimming the roster is only part of the problem however, as of course I am always trying to add new girls TO the roster. Rookies. Fresh talent. In many ways, that is the ENTIRE point of mongering. Getting some strange.

Thankfully my sub-conscious has things better in control than my libido. I've purposely avoided using mamba in the last few weeks. I've not been clubbing or club trawling as before. I've allowed some relations to fade into obscurity.

Quite simply, I need to prioritise the stock and prune it as you say.

It's a terrible idea to SHOWER a girl with gifts, not to mention prohibitively expensive, but gift-giving is a part of their culture and can be an effective tool.

Obviously, your silver tongue has gotten you far, but I wonder if the girls are detecting the slightest degree of indifference, that even you are not aware of yet, resulting in "flakey" behavior on their part?

That's what I wrote in my post as well... they are definitely tuned into it, both through their keen sense of "smell" and my own clumsiness.

Doc, I continue to admire your ability to successfully juggle a dozen devs simultaneously, but you are, alas, but one man. The most I've juggled at one time is 6. But that was spread across 4 countries, and yet you have that many in Moscow alone. Of course maintaining (and scheduling!) that kind of stable takes an extraordinary amount of effort, and there's no wonder that you're a little burned out by it all. Maybe you should try pruning back a bit until you have a chance to recoup?

I'm overextended in Moscow for sure.

I've taken some measures to keep things under control. For example, I've decided (not sure if I can maintain this) to make Ukraine a p4p market for me. Besides the existing contacts, I'm not even going to try to meet new girlfriends there. Going to keep it strictly p4p, or short-term sponsorship. As odd as it may sound coming from me, the idea of a strict ho-john relationship sounds quite refreshing.

As for Moscow and St.Pete, I've got considerably more contacts/girlfriends than I listed below. Literally dozens. In some ways, it is out of control. You are right though, I need to trim the roster. It is more difficult than it sounds however, as some of the girls I've known for years. I don't like the idea of toning down the relationship from a sexual one to friendship however. I have a few non-sexual relations with girls in Moscow, but only in those cases where I don't find the girl particularly attractive or there is some other reason to keep sex off-limits, such as business or her being in a relationship. Obviously in most cases such non-sexual relations are low priority and doomed to fade out with time. Ever notice that when you plug too many appliances (electronic devices) into a power strip that there is this funny smell just before the fuse blows? The Russian devushka is known to posses an extraordinarily keen sense of smell.
