    Traveling through Canada caution

First let me just say I am impressed from the good info out of this thread with much less BS. Compared to other cuban threads.

Now, I'll just give you my experience with travel.

I have traveled to Cuba 4 times between 2010 and 2012. Once through cancan and the rest through Toronto.

Never had an incident even though one time I returned from Cuba to Toronto and flew the next morning. The Canadian immigration guy looked at my passport and just warned me that US citizens aren't allowed in Cuba. I told him I didn't know that and he told me ok, just be careful and sent me through.

I never worried about it, however, I once was picked up for random inspection, not from Canada but from Colombia.

I had all kinds of pharmacy meds including steroids, HGH, depo provera. Etc not only that but I had a couple of Xanax pills too.

Initially what freaked them out was the depo provera. They were really suspicious about a single guy with 3-4 viles of depo provera. They then took me inside for "further inspection" and questioning. They then discovered I was deployed to Iraq, I had a couple of SIM cards and they found a female underwater in my luggage. ALL FLAGS WENT UP. LOL oh, I look like a Saudi or Moroccon or puertorican depending on your travel and cultural experience or lack of! So you can imagine!

They took my laptop, phone, and SIM cards and shipped it to their nerd unit to further inspect it. I had some really naked photos of chicas that could under the wrong eyes be misinterpreted! I refused to give them my password and my laptop and other stuff was mailed back to me within two weeks. I was turned over to Houston police for the Xanax. The Feds had nothing!

Why am I sharing this with you guys! Cause, at the time, I felt powerless and I know many have had similar luck and feeling. But we don't have to feel hopeless by sharing, advising and learning from each other candidly without the bullshit!

I've stayed at Mayanabo, Caracol and Be Live aka Brisas. Out of the 3 I prefer Caracol because all the rooms are junior suites that each have a living room, refrigerator, balcony, separate bedroom and spacious bathroom.

The staff are all pretty nice and accommodating. Including the security (I know them well and sometimes I just order a chica from the security on the beach. I tell them what type of girl I like and they bring her to my hotel room. This special "room service" costs $20 for the girl and $20 for the security).

For me Caracol has the best location out of the 4 resorts. As you walk straight out from this resort there is an outdoor bar to your immediate right where everyone hangs out before the club opens. There are always chicas hanging around there. Also, to your immediate left is the club, Mar Verde. It's an open air joint with nightly shows and a small cover charge ranging between $1cuc-$3cuc. 80% of the girls in there are ready for the taking and it's a lot less hassle than in Havana...
When where you last in Caracol. Can you pick any girl take them back to the hotel. In this case do you pay $10 or $20.

It is all a pyramid scheme. If the guard charged you $25 he probably gets to keep $10 of it as his bosses are always in on it

Don't worry, they will know absolutely everything why you were there and up to what and the girls are all known and report to police.
Thanks, and happy hunting. All intel here is good even if guys have different views.

Yes, you will be able to bring girls in. Learn fast the chain of command there before the night out and be firm. Likely it will cost you 50 CUC per girl. Check her carnet yourself and tell her where she is going to after you make a deal with her. In my view the best area to stay in Havana for the purpose of the hobby is Vedado, followed by Miramar, then Old Havana but never Central Havana. Miramar to Cubanacan overall is the best area. Good luck.
I respectfully disagree with some of this. In a 5 star hotel they will be very strict and cautious due to the upscale visitors. They don't want to be perceived as a place for this type of activity and risk problems from the establishment. I stayed in a 3 star hotel and they watched the visitors like hawks, if she didn't check in with you it wasn't going to happen, so I thought. Me and my girl would go to her casa particular around the corner after meeting at the hotels terrace out front (for two days). On the third day my girl went to use the restroom inside the terrace and one of the security guys told her for 25cuc she could visit me in my room for a couple hours but she couldn't spend the night. They approached us, if you approach them without first establishing some understanding (which could take a few days of them watching you) then you could be giving away your hand and be denied. Some of these guys won't risk their jobs for 25cuc and be reported to the government.

Miramar is a middle class neighborhood and if you don't speak Spanish can be intimidating. I left "dos Cardeneas" and the yellow tourist cabbies weren't there. So I took one of the local cabs with the old cars. He ran out of gas after five minutes so I got out and walked. I walked a mile and didn't see any cabs. So I'm in a strange place with no cabs and no people around, very scary shit. Luckily my ghetto spanish allowed me to ask questions when I saw people to eventually get back to centro Havana.

I'm guessing from the original posters post that he doesn't speak any any spanish and wants to frequent the normal "point and click" spots like "Solo dojo" and "la C". Centro Havana has freelancers and places to hangout. Even with basic spanish a guy can walk around Havana centro and pull IMO. Can't comment on the other places so you are probably correct Sir.

I am also not a big fan of private casas, I prefer to be in a hotel settlement, do you think I can find my way paying the security and have girls in?

There are only 4 resorts, Mayanabo, Caracol, Gran Club and Be Live / Brisas. And they are all side by side in a row on the same street, so no need for taxis.

Not to mention a lot more cheaper.

I've picked up girls there for as little as Free ($0) to as much as $20cuc (average price there is $15). There is a daytime bar on the beach between Caracol and Gran Club, there is also a little shopping centre there and a pretty decent restaurant that serves delicious Pizza and Seafood dishes. Watch out for the bartenders at the beach bar though, I've seen them rob tourists blind! NEVER RUN A TAB! ALWAYS PAY AS U GO. U order a beer, pay right away. U buy a chica an ice cream, pay right away. If you don't they WILL rob you!

Anyway, you can always find chicas and some gay cubanos hanging out there (some tourists are gay and they want action too, especially the Europeans. LOL). My friends and I have picked up chicas many times from this spot. One time I picked up a chica who was there "working" with her female cousin and gay brother. I saw her and her cousin head towards the bathroom which is in another building, I followed them slowly and waited outside pretending like I wanted to use the facilities. When they came out I smiled and said "hola", they responded in kind, then I looked at the chica straight in her eyes, winked and motioned with my head for her to go in the bathroom with me. She looked a bit confused turned to her cousin, looked at me and I again motioned with my head towards the bathroom. She gave her cousin the key to the bathroom, looked around to make sure the coast was clear and in we went. Her cousin locked the door and stood guard. LOL.

Once we were in she went to kiss me, I turned away, took out my cock and said "Chupa". She instinctively stooped down and took my cock in her mouth bareback. She sucked, licked, kissed, fondled and tickled my cock and balls with all the expertise of a little 18 year old ****. She really worked my Pinga and her legs were starting to hurt because it was taking me long to cum (it's very difficult for me to cum from a BJ). By now she got up, pulled down her panties, bent over and told me to fuck her till I cum. I said no because I didn't have a condom and there's NO WAY IN HELL I'm FUCKING WITHOUT A CONDOM! So down she went again, I closed my eyes and started fantasizing while throat fucking her, that seemed to do the trick and 10 minutes later I popped my load in her mouth. She spat it out and continued licking and sucking till every drop of cum was out my balls and my cock was clean.

I pulled up my swimming trunks, gave her $5cuc, she smiled and said "gracias". I then left the bathroom first and walked to the bar. She followed from a different direction a few minutes later. The Hope this helps to answer your questions.

Correction from my previous response. Just found the document from my Jan trip. It ended up being about $27 USD for 9 days.

I once bought from Cubatur in the airport, not because any one asked me, the chica selling it was very cute. It cost me around 30cuc for 10 days, and it covered around 7500cuc per day.

    Flight Manifest List

I am a Global Entry / Sentri holder and I traveled to Cuba twice thru Mexico. One time when I was walking back to San Diego after coming back from Cuba the immigration officer asked me if I left Mexico during my trip, of course my answer was no, then he flat out asked me if I went to Cuba. I was shocked but kept it cool and said no. He just let me go but he could have sent me to secondary and the shit could have hit the fan. I have been told that the officers have been told not to give hard time to people that come back from Cuba, something like an internal memo. The Obama administration doesn't want to prosecute / fine people for visiting Cuba. The Bush era was completely different thou.

I think one way to avoid this dilemma is to fly to Havana from Panama or another country besides Mexico and Canada. I have read somewhere that Canada, US and Mexico share the flights manifest in one database. So it is easy access for government. Another way, which may not be as safe, is to divide your trip to two reservation so your entire travel is not under one booking reference number.

I can give you reference for what I wrote, except my personal experience. Do your own research and then decide.

Good luck and enjoy Cuba! A country well worth the visit, even with the travel hassle.
Zebel is absolutely correct about the manifest lists. Long before it was common knowledge all Canadian flights overflying the USA to Cuba had to call into the USA authorities the names of all passengers on board. I was told this about 10 years ago when my neighbour was piloting charters from Toronto and Vancouver to Varadero which was long before I ever read about it in msm [mainstream media]. I remember a story in the news at least 5 years ago about a man flying to Acupulco with his wife and kids for a holiday from Toronto with a Canuck passport but an iraqi or iranian spelled name. USA authorites had the mexicans arrest and imprison him in mex. It turned out he had a similar name to someone on the USA hot list.
