Cuba is no longer a cheap destination and part time girls are hard to come by.

Most of the girls today are hard core professionals working the club scene.

Let me say that I am in Cuba at least 12 times per year, and often twice a month. You do not need the assistance of Cuban men. Unless you are a complete ass and just cannot find your way. You do not need to end up with a pro or so called semi-pro. You do not need to pay anything more than $25 which should be offered as a gift not as a payment for sex. Enough said.

Some more Info on Varadero, Matanzas and Cardenas.

1) I visited recently and Varadero has changed somewhat on the Chica and Casas scene There are now legalized Casas in Varadero and I cruised the main downtown area at night. There are chicas walking around either in pairs or alone. I picked up one and went to a casa in Santa Marta (Just out of the Barrier gate) This is where majority of people working in varadero live. Ask around or google Casas Particulares for Santa Marta. There are many.

2) Security guards on the resorts beaches : Get freindly with them. They are excellent source for hooking you up with chicas, I speak passable spanish and one these security guys (lives in Santa Marta) took me next day to a place past Cardenas named Maximo Gonzales and another town named Agramonte. Plenty of chicas in these small towns, BUT you will need a cuban friend to introduce you. All 9's and 10's.

3) Show genuine respect and true freindhip to cuban male workers and you will be truly rewarded.

4) cybercupido. Com amd Badoo. Com have also worked for me everytime in past visits. Try and rent a car with a fellow Mongerer and you can keep costs down.

5) Visit as an independent traveler and not with package deals. Every dime you spend in government stores and resorts goes to "GAESA" Do some research on "GAESA" (

) and you will find out a whole lot more of what goes on in that country. Spend your dollars at Casas and private restaurants (paladares) That money goes direectly to the cuban public.

I have thoroughly read through every single post that has talked about Matanzas and Cardenas and have come to the conclusion that both are worth a shot. It is true, I am only in Varadero for one week with my father. While I will have a great deal of freedom, I do need to consider discretion and grace in my mongering activities, for my own safety and of course the honour of mi familia. SO here is my step by step plan. I arrive on Saturday morning. I'm going to shower up and head down to the pool and beach area. I am going to try to chat up some of the more morally-flexible looking male staff and see if I can have any chicas arranged through them. Ideally, would be great if they could find a girl, sneak them into the resort and send them to my room while my dad is taking a snorkeling class or something. If I am unable to find any industrious cubanos to assist me in my search for satisfaction at the AI, I will try some of the clubs that night to see what the action is like there. I hear that La comparsita is frequented by locals and chicas and I may be able to find soemthing there, but then there is the issue of where to take them, since casas are minimal if not nonexistent in Varadero. Next step would be to rent a scooter and head out to Cardenas or Matanzas, and try to find a jinetero to hook me up. Also, while not fluent in spanish, I do know some, perhaps enough to get by in Mataznas on my own. If all this fails, and I will probably end up doing this anyways, but I plan to spend a night in Havana which (through contacts provided by generous members of this forum) I will meet up with a man who will take care of my transportation, accomodation, and fornication needs (not personally of course.). So best case scenerio, Varadero barman sends up sum slutty maid moonlighting as a working girl to my room to iron out my wrinkles. Worst case scenario, I'm stuck on the beach drinking mojitos in varadero all day, party with las turistas at Saturday night, and I scooter out to Cardenas and Matanzas and try to score during the week, and I am still assured one crazy night in Havana. If anybody thinks I have overlooked something, please feel free to chime in with another post, or PM me with advice. Veradero has beautiful beaches (not as beautiful as the beaches in Villa Clara, I. E, the keys) and is a very relaxing but, there's no pussy.

Fortunately, Havana, is not where most of the pussy is, but, is indeed where most of the hard core girls are located.

Your best chances lie in the other provinces, excluding Santa Clara, because I swear, Santa Clara is on "lock-down".

If you had more time, you could hang out on badoo and meet a "non-pro" student, get her number and confidence, and meet her at her home and have a great time without dropping a dime. But it appears you have not done this foot work nor do you have the time to invest while in Cuba. I'd rent a scooter and start talking to all the chicas that interest me on the road and see where this takes me. Forget the jiniteros, their game is that you need them, YOU DON'T! They are a waster of time and money.

One more option that may save you time and effort is to hook up with a cab driver in Varadero who may take you right to the ladies in Cardenas. This was my experience. Cab there and back was 30 cuc, and girl was 30 as well. Find another lonely monger and split cab fare. I met a coupla guys there who spoke no spanish and were doing that every day, but were paying the girls up to 60 per pop. I speak spanish well and get along very well with cuban men and women so can usually knock the price down a bit.

I was only there for 2 days, one night and did recieve the 'look' from chicas while walking around town a few times, but never on the main streets, always side streets. I was staying in a casa paricilar (there are a few, just recently the laws were changed to allow them) and am pretty sure I coulda snuck them in but didn't bother.

Thanks Huevonn thats good advise. I am hoping some ambitious cubano will proposition me, whether its a bartender, porter, cab driver etc. This may have both risks and benefits, but I suppose thats part of the adventure. Hopefully will find some like-minded individuals that can accompany me and share the costs of the adventure as well. I look forward to having some stories to tell when I return. You do have a good point about Matanzas and weekends. I was last there on a weekend. I did tell the poster seeking information (in a PM he sent me) that he may well want to get hold of an English speaking jinetero to set things up for him. I actually recall running into an English speaking guy in Matanzas. He sounded just like any Latino from the New York- New Jersey part of the US (Mostly Cubanos, Boricuas and Dominicans). He told me (even before I asked) that he had served time in prison in the US for drug trafficking and had been deported back to Cuba. I figured he had been asked that question a lot of times, from the way he talked and volunteered information.

Maybe the poster, AwesomeSauce, will run into this guy in Matanzas.

The poster does have the option of hiring a jinetero and looking in Cardenas and / or Matanzas for the following reasons.

Going by the prices that Sabalo reported, the cost of mongering in Matanzas or Cardenas (An English speaking jinetero plus a chica plus a room in Cardenas or Matanzas) will be cheaper than going all the way to the Casa de la Musica in Havana. Awesome Sauce also has to consider TIME, since he will be travelling with his parents. There is a poster here who once said he was hooked up by male employees in Varadero, so I hope AwesomeSauce has read the older reports.

I am heading to Varadero with the parents from dec 9-16. From my research it seems like this area is pretty dry, but fun can be had if one is resourceful. Also, that it may be worth taking a trip to Matanzas or Cardenas. If someone has been to Varadero recently and had some experience with this, can you please email me? Varadero is dead for mongering and if there is the odd puta around you will have a ton of competition-Although Varadero is in Cuba its basically a man made western style enviroment for tourists-similar to Cayo Coco. Almost nothing on this board when it comes to mongering is related to Varadero-you need to go to Havana or another decent sized city. I can't tell you how many guys I've seen at the all inclusives in Varadero wondering where all the girls are. They go to Varadero expecting good night life with lots of chicas-it won't happen. You can find a few girls in Matanzas but without a bilingual guide you can trust, you will have a tough time. Its not impossible to find a chica but keep your expectations low. I was in a Varadero all inclusive last month with my cubanita for a few days and I had 3 different groups of guys approach me "where you find that girl". The hotel was a complete sausage party with a group of attractive single Canadian girls fucking the cuban dancers and dive instructors. I brought out a couple very hot girls for a few of the rich guys (I actually felt sorry for them because they thought they were going on a sex vacation) but it wasnt cheap-taxi each way $200 about $100-$150 per night for the girl=$80 per night to register the girl at the hotel-no entrance without registration. One of the guys actually fell in love-I don't know how because he spoke no espanol and she no engles-its amazing what a good cuban fuck can do to your average North American man If you have a few bucks to spend this might be an option. I would say your best bet is to get to know the bartenders-tip them well and they can probably find you a decent girl. Most of these guys have worked in these resorts for 10 years and know the system inside out-and probably won't fuck you around because they are employees and you will see them the next day.
