I have enough experience in LOS to avoid the traps that more trusting farang get into but the truth is most Thais will screw farang over in a heartbeat.TG's are the best looking girls in the world and are very pleasant in an interpersonal setting but alot of the rest of Thais suck. I have been quoted absurd prices in massage parlors (16,000 baht for example) and then watched closely to see if I was that stupid. When I looked at the Thai papa-san with a look that said I was so insulted I could have spit in the grass and killed it he immediately lowered it to 5,000 baht.This is the point.Most days if you want a taxi all you have to do is turn around and one will nearly run you over pulling up to the curb.Try to get one in the rain.I stood under a BTS overpass a few years back in a driving rainstorm and counted 41 taxis with the red light go hurtling past me.I was a farang in the rain and so I was worthy of contempt.I don't understand it but I learn to live with it.Just remember there are razor teeth,usually,directly behind that famous Thai smile.

Ninety-five percent of the time you are right. Here is a story about one of those five percent: Last fall I met a girl in NEP. Really a hottie. Shagged her silly on my second and third nights. Today was my last full day in Bangkok and what do I do but take a day trip to Pattaya. It was important that I had to do a little field research for my next sojourn in the "Land of Smiles" here. The bus ride itself wasn't too bad if you are friendly and personable, that is, because you are stuck in an enclosed space with complete strangers for several hours, it would help to establish some camaraderie with your travel mates. Hi fellow mongers,

I would like some advice from experienced mongers in this region regarding my possible next mongering destination.

I am considering either Thailand / Colombia - Venezuela / Central America (Cuba, Dominican Republic, etc.) but I am still not sure which destination
would be a better option taking on count price-quality of girls and mongering infrastructure.

My previous mongering destinations were mainly Europe / Argentina / Brazil / Mexico

Latin girls are more attractive to me than dark skinned asians which I guess it is a relatively high proportion in Thailand, but I may be wrong, but maybe mongering options are not so well developed in Colombia/Costa Rica as in Thailand.

According to what you have seen, what would it make more sense to visit? I am planning 2-4 weeks of non stop sex and some sightseeing.

Thailand will beat any of the other places hands down in all categories with the sole exception of breast size. Consider: 1)You simply cannot beat Thai girls as far as personalities go. 2)The firmness of Thai girls bodies far outstrips anything in the West, a simple fact. 3)The REAL cute ones have the most adorable faces in the world. 4)The magnitude of the sex trade here is staggering to someone who hasn't been here before-and I'm not even counting the other areas of LOS. Put simply, it would be a simple decision if it was me making the decision. Interesting how Patpong seems to have fallen off the to-do list of many visiting mongers. Patpong 1 understandably so, but Patpong 2 still has some worthwhile places, plus a bit of the old ambience.

I will leave the G-club breakdowns to others as I don't have the experience (or at least as much) as others at these places. CM2 is a different story. This has been a place I have been to numerous times over the past couple of years and I wouldn't particularly advise it as most girls aren't as cute as even go-go girls are. However, If you are into Russian, Ukrainian, or even Kazakh or Uzbek girls this is their place in BKK. I couldn't care less about these Viking women but I thought I would pass it on. Also, to be fair, I do seem to see ONE(Thai) usually in here that is totally a knockout. For some reason it always seems to be just that ONE and there are usually with someone or so on. It's always been different strokes for different folks. I can appreciate that some like the Go-Go bar scene, since there are no major surprises in terms of what you are getting physically. However, I don't think the girls in the Go-Go's have better bodies than the girls in any other type of venue. Just less guess work. The Soapy's, G-Clubs, Beer Bars, Oil Massage joints, etc. all have their share of incredible bodies and hot woman. They all have their pluses and minuses, but in the end, it's all good. I love the Go-Go's, but like variety too.

I will mix in G-Clubs, because they are fun. You get to meet some hot woman that you may not have seen, somewhere else. It does not matter where they worked before. Fact is, during any given visit, that girl may only have been found there. If you meet one gem, who cares where you found her or what you spent. As long as you had fun. No psychological hangups involved. I'm a total horndog too, so I like to mix it up. Oil massage, Beer Bar, Soapy, Go-Go, Soi 33 bar, Nightclub and G-Club. I have done the cycle many times in BKK and never regretted it. Keep in mind, you don't need to spend more than 3k baht to get phone numbers at a G-Club. After that, you meet up with the girl over the course of your vacation and return trips in some cases. Very small price to pay for more good times.

I think the best advice for any newbie is to try everything and find out for yourself. Every post is just one man's opinion and you eventually need to come up with your own, which is the only one that will count to you in the end. We all have preferences and you will need to find the places that meet yours.

Having said all of that, I would like to add, welcome to the BKK thread. The summary was a good idea. Maybe adding a few examples and some favorites, might be a nice addition too. I have been accumulating some notes to post, in line with your general idea. A bit of a work in progress. More in terms of venues first and a basic overview of some of the more well known examples along with websites when available. Some generalizations of the types of girls and as we all know, generalizations are always dangerous and full of holes. Just a starting point.

You make points I agree with. Although the 3, 000 baht just to get a phone number is perplexing to me. There is just no mystery to these G-clubs. Plenty of these places have websites with pics and You Tube is now loaded with vids from BKK G-clubs. If I see one that is intriguing I suppose I'll check her out. But to go just to be going. I find most massage girls too chubby for my tastes and so on. I want hardbodies. There is still the 'surprise' if they are wild ones or starfishes in bed. The other site (BTF Forum) was a completely different site than this one. The moderator let his buddies run amok insulting people and then selectively enforced his already vague rules.
