Posts: 113Bogota Rental Apartments 1-3 weeks. Options other than AirBNB?
I like apartments more than hotels for a little more space and a kitchen with a working refrigerator and stove. I also like avoiding the guest fee discussion and it just feels better walking by a security guard than a reception in full view of everyone else.
Just checking, but is there any other options outside of AirBnB for weekly stays?
Thanks.

I did not notice that your question was if you register two people.

Posts: 1315YYZTravel, AC Hotel Zona T is in a preferable area. You will take taxis everywhere both ways. Taxis are available and very affordable. If your hotel denies entry to your guest, then take her to a love motel.

Posts: 233JW Marriott / AC Hotel
I'm debating between two Marriott properties so I can use points for my stay in September. Does anyone have thoughts about either and do you know if they are girl friendly? I have a reservation for 2 people so hoping to avoid any issues here if I bring a girl back to the room.
AC Hotel Zona T - https://goo.gl/maps/fYsNZuWGjpjkxVMK7.
- Right next door to the Zona Norte nightclubs
Brand new property build
Walking distance to massage parlors
Farther away from Zona Tolerencia
JW Marriott Bogota - https://goo.gl/maps/DybJGJ4ThHMu8vgK9.
- Far nicer higher-end property
Likey to get a suite with multiple bathrooms - outdoor balcony
Farther away from night clubs
Potential walking distance to some
Farther away from Zona Tolerencia
I'm a big strip club guy. Love to go and watch (get dances) from the girls and eventually take one home. Is this the club vibe in Zona Norte, or something more akin to Pussy's house?

These charges are a legalized scam, nothing more, nothing less.
I can understand hotels that won't let hookers in because, well, they might not want low-class women tarnishing their establishment. But as it is the case for most hotels in Colombia and many around the world, they have no issues with hookers -- for the right price, that is.
This is dishonest, and I personally hate these practices. I mean, it's their hotel, and they can do whatever the fuck they want, but those are scammy charges to pad the bottom line, not unlike so-called resort fees. Just my $0. 02.

Posts: 1357As bad as the USA is they don't care about guests.
Hotel San Francisco de Ass has answered your question.
On Fri March 6, 2020, you asked:
Can you have guests in the room?
Hotel San Francisco de Ass's reply:
Yes but only in the morning after 18:00 no more visitors are received in the room and if you have a charge of 50,000 pesos per person.

I'd also suggest that you rethink trying to shack up with a stranger. There's way too many potential problems, ranging from minor headaches to life threatening. I'd do a few trial runs with her before having her move into the hotel with me.
