Sorry man. I don't have a great solution. The cell phone location sharing is the biggest reason for me not going more often. I have to come up with elaborate stories. I'm interested in how you cheated your location. My most recent solution had to do with 2 phones. But you could do it with a phone and an iPod as well. Log into both devices using the same Apple ID. Then change which device that sharing your location. There is a setting within the Find My Friends app that allows you to do this. I happen to have 2 phones. So I left the phone that was sharing it's location near the location where I told my wife I would be.

But even if you come up with a solution to fool Find My Friends, you still have to figure out what to say if she calls and gets the international ringtone, don't you.

Why would you agree to do that in the first place, I just said that makes me uncomfortable like in an Orwellian way, so never turned that feature on. At this point since you already agreed, you'll either have to switch your philosophy about it with her and be adamant or just change to Android phone so feature goes away, say you love the new Samsung Galaxy and switch.

My point is that he should have never let his wife to track his location in the first place. It's OK to set some boundaries in a marriage. Not having your spouse being able to track your location with GPS is one of them. Now he can blame no one but himself that he is traceable like a 5 year old child.
