Looking for some feedback on which hotel is better for an overnight. I am planning to start down at the clubs and then go back to the hotel for an overnight experience.

What day of the week were you planning? Neither of these hotels will allow all-nighters on a weekend, I. E. Friday or Saturday. Not sure about Sunday. Weekdays you can. I've asked both, and others. You can get an all-nighter on Saturday at the Motel Otay (not in the same league) for a premium, cash only.

Premier isn't that "out of the way" unless you're coming from the Zona Norte. It's right off the Via Rapida and easy to get to from other parts of town, including Otay. It's a better choice if you're planning an orgy, or something, as they have some really nice high-end rooms. They also have WiFi, which the pricier Mansion does not. Taxi availability is a bit spotty, but in either case, just walk out front and wait for one to wander by.

Ticuan is, indeed, a better bet for weekends.

Totally agree with GF. Don't bother with Motel Premier because it's just way too damn far away.

I would even say that without a car, La Mansion is pushing it, because the taxi back is usually inflated (since they have to pay a kickback to the place for picking you up).

Do yourself a favor and just get a room at Hotel Ticuan. Clean, safe, and as long as you are walking her up to your room yourself through the lobby, you shouldn't have any issues bringing a girl back. Be forewarned, though, that it's a regular normal hotel, so expect to see regular normal people, including the occasional family.

Hope everyone is well- may be taking a solo trip tomorrow night to check up on some old "friends"- because hey- as long as you have money, everyone is your friend!

Premier is further out down south than la mansion and much harder to get a ride back to zona or border in the morning (or evening, depending on when you wake up).

I would say la mansion has a slightly classier vibe, so depending on whether you want to romance your date a little, la mansion may be a better choice.

As I recall, la mansion is more expensive, and on weekends, they sure as hell are very strict on the time limit you pay for, and can definitely be a fucking buzz kill.

Well, I cross back and forth about 15-20 times monthly, always driving. Friday by far is the best day to cross to USA, unless you plan on crossing 12 am-3 am which takes longer because theres only a couple lanes open. Sunday is the worst day with the typical wait being 4+hours. Saturdays are the next worst day to cross to USA. Monday thru Thurs each take about 30-45 minutes during the day and 15-30 minutes during the evening. Crossing into Mexico there generally isn't a wait except for around 3:30 pm-6:30 pm when traffic builds up. Also, Friday nights there is a lot of traffic going into Mex. I haven't walked across in a couple years so I can't really comment on that, except the walk in Otay is much shorter than SY. And walking through SY is very short early AM hours. But the foot traffic patterns should loosely mimic the vehicle patterns, except maybe Fridays which I remember to be a very long wait to walk to USA at SY. And if Monday is a holiday, then it makes Sunday less congested and Monday extremely congested.

There's several smartphone apps that provide estimated wait times. I think they all get their info from the same source, CBP or other gov't agency so they all provide the same estimates. The one I use is called Border Wait. Also if you dial "7007000" exactly like that from a Mex phone it will provide est. wait times in Spanish. Just add 10-30 minutes to the est times provided as they underestimate 95% of the time.

Quick question, I am planing on going into Tijuana Monday October 13 which is a federal holiday.

What should I expect the time wait coming and going walking that is? I am sure this is already somewhere on here and I will look for that also. Thanks in advance!

However knowing whether the same phone number is used is difficult. The only way to know this is by each reader tracking phone numbers (not easy to do, or very time consuming for the avg monger).

It's disheartening to read that virtually all of the 18-19 year old are with agencies. Why do you think this is? It seems if they would advertise themselves they would make more money (no agency fees). I do see ads for the 600-800 peso range, but these are almost older chicas. I like the 18-19 year old, makes me feel young. Nothing wrong with the 2 (year old either, as they are usually more open and aggressive in the cama.

Don't just take my word for it, call a few and find out for yourself. IMHO, there is nothing as boring and insipid as an 18 year old girl, so I don't troll those waters. Some of the 18 and 19 year olds claim to be independent. Call and ask.

There are plenty of diamonds in the rough. Fluent Spanish is going to be virtually mandatory and you'll be hard pressed to find any in the Zona. You'll need to start hanging out in more local bars. IMHO that may be a waste of time, as virtually all of the girls in this racket use CL and Facebook. Your best bet is to put in the time and effort to start contacting your choice of escorts and see what happens.

A tip: if you contact a girl who works for an agency, try her. If you click, ask her to see you outside of business. If she likes you she'll agree and cut out the middleman.

The biggest single irritant is the fake pix. If you use Chrome you can directly search the web for a pic (or use images. google.com if you use IE). Lots of the pix are fake, often of the ones purporting to be 18 - 20, but you can usually tell the genuine ones. That may not be a big deal, depending. One fave used fake pix but everything turned out OK and I repeated several times.


I've had short ones, tall ones, skinny ones, fat ones. There is something for every taste. Never had a bad experience, and only one mediocre one. Few are clock watchers so if your hour runs to 90 minutes nobody is going to be pounding on the door. The popular motels are night and day, compared to the ones in the Zona.

Overall, I heartily recommend CL hunting.

It's pretty easy to weed out the agencies. Any ad with a Nextel number in it is an agency. Virtually all the "18" and "19" year olds are with an agency. I stick with the independents, as I refuse to deal with a pimp.
