All this is exactly right. Velario is the worst of all worlds if you are looking to monger in your hotel. Get a decent hotel out of the zona and pay the $5 to take a paraditas to their own hotel.

I'm a fan of Ticuan. Very clean. Reliable and reasonably sufficient WIFI for work. I am allergic to exercise, as my body will attest to. But the walk is really easy from Ticuan. 15 minutes. Now, you will have a 1 in 100 chance of convincing a standing girl to go back with you in the moment. If that's important to you, as others have suggested, Cascadas is a good bet. Hey guys,

I've been a regular with the agencies in Tijuana for a few years and occasionally dabble in the club scene. Never tried an independent girl though.
