Ticuan is my go to for overnights in Tijuana. A few things though you should know when checking in. Tell them you want a room with a window otherwise they will put you in an interior windowless one. All the rooms are nice but also request a room that does not face Revolution as it can get loud late into the night. Fast and fare room service there as well. La Mansion and Hotel Premier are similar in price $32, but I prefer Premier as they have furniture that is unique for sex and lots more mirrors as well. There are also some hotels that do not require registration of escorts and don't even bother blinking an eye when someone brings an escort upstairs. I feel this is definitely lower security but some like the convenience, especially for multiple different escorts in a single day or trip.

I haven't stayed there because I prefer somewhat nicer hotels, but I've heard the architecture of La Mansion is that every room has an attached garage and you can enter exit the unit from that garage, rather than a central lobby area.

I stayed almost exclusively at the motel Encuentro after getting bit up bad by bed bugs in Hotel Leyva. They offer clean updated room and it was only like $30 a night. I am either the luckiest man alive or you missing something. I been going to Tijuana and driving into Tijuana since the 80's. I think overall it has actually gotten safer.

I know I did some things in my teens and 20's I would not even consider now but the place is no more dangerous than any major US city like LA, SF or such. I am sure there are places in Tijuana to avoid but I can tell you for a fact there are places in LA and SF you should avoid. This is true for every major city I been to in the US and most countries.

Make sure the girls know what you're really asking for. In the Zona, "short term" means 20-30 minutes, and overnight is called "Toda la noche" or "TLN". And "long time" can mean anything in between.

If you're pinching pennies, stop at a money changer on the US side. You can definitely do better negotiating in pesos.
