I recently went to Tijuana this week and have a couple of highlights.

- went on Monday. Left LA at about 8 am.

- going thru border was quick. No line, wasn't stopped or asked anything.

- stayed at motel premier - $26 for the day. Not a good experience. No one spoke English. I wanted a jacuzzi room but it seemed like all they had was the very basic room, or maybe they didn't understand what I wanted. Mattress was stiff as a board. No hot water. Hate to say it but you didn't experience Medellin the right way. When I go down for a month at a time I get an apartment in Laureles which is a upper middle class area of Medellin. This is where the highest percentage of the nicer working girls live. It is also pretty flat so not having to walk up the hilly streets of El Poblado (Parque LLeras) is super nice. Nogales is a little rough to say the least but I always manage to have fun there. I would stay at the Hotel San Carlos and go around and party at night at the local establishments.
