I guess there used to be a no you-turn sign there. Drivers near San Ysidro border are some of the roughest and meanest humans anywhere. They would try to keep their places in line by driving into and stopping in the middle of intersections, blocking all traffic. Train only runs 2 or 3 trips per day, costs more and takes longer, sometimes late. It stops at the depot in downtown SD and you have to take the trolley to the border.
