Posts: 4567Central Park Hotel (CPH) and Queens
Earlier this month I stayed at both these hotels. I've already done a review w / pics of Queens. Probably in August if anyone wants to go back that far. Their top-notch Italian restaurant seems to be on the verge of moving out. The space if for lease. I really like the rooftop lounge. Nice and quiet with sofas. Pool was a bit disappointing since the Pool Man seemed to be in hiding. At midday, the prime tables did not have their umbrellas attached. I found a shady corner but there was a layer of dust on the table. Quibble, quibble.
Queens was about P3,100, while CPH with a larger room and larger bathroom was 2,500.
I really want to like CPH, but there are so many things wrong. The positive first. Great rooftop hangout area with an infinity pool (smallish). Food isn't great, but it is really nice. The indoor restaurant isn't open yet. The rooms are good value for the current price.
Problems? Unorganized reception. I had problems coming in and going out. A bathroom fixture that kept falling off. Slow elevators.
I have some pictures somewhere. I'll add them later. X.

Saw some people calling Central Park a lot of different things and saying they couldn't find their website. I believe I have the correct one below and if correct, it is named Central Park Tower Resort formally now. I did not see anything about prices going up to 4000 later on. I don't know if they can get up there in price and keep it close to full at that price. I guess time will tell. I am a big fan of Guy and Roselle, but thinking they'd rather be close to maximum occupancy.

Was in AC during March last year and stayed at ABC. A nice enough place but the decor was a bit over the top and the pool a bit disappointing.
I am thinking of returning next March and was interested by the Queens hotel. Nice looking place, a bit closer to the action and cheaper than ABC. Has anyone tried this place. What is the pool like?

Posts: 2374The new Central Park Hotel - Excellent. Just finished a week there while they have the soft opening. Rooms above the 8th floor looked great, will be available soon. Of course, priced.
