    I'd checks

This recent topic about IDs is winding down.

Nevertheless, I want to clarify that someone said, "I cannot recall that any of my girls were ever asked for an I'd at any hotel in the Philippines. ".

This is the AC Hotel thread and usually the I'd check or I'd holding doesn't happen. I think they do sometimes do the phone call thing. I'll keep notes on my next visit. LOL.

Outside of AC, checks do happen, esp Manila. But if you check in with the lady or she seems to be a gf, at most good hotels someone makes a note and they don't bother you. Hell has no fury like a Filipina wife, or even a "good" gal, who is treated at the hotel like a "bad girl". In many cases it depends on the time of night and how the gal is dressed.

If you can't recall ever having a lady I'd checked, then there is probably a good reason for that. Maybe they already know her. See her every night. (joke).

If you are with a temporary gal, the I'd holding or phone call is a bit of an inconvenience. But the practice makes it safer for everyone. At exit I usually escort the lady to the lobby to avoid the phone call. It saves the staff a bit of work, and I think it makes the gal feel better to. If she's given me any bad vibes or bad service then she can find her own way out.

I the checks in AC hotels

Most of the time the hotel doorman / security will not ask for the girls I'd. Of course my experience is only limited to 2 hotels. I assume they assume the girl is licensed bg and if you have a problem you will know how to find her. A few times when I have had a few girls referred to me, I have had the doorman check their I'd for my own protection. He actually held the I'd and returned it to her when she left but did not record it in his log book. This 19 yo civie looked more like 16 than 19.

I've been in Makati for about a week and the hotel has been very diligent in getting I.D. from every single one of the various girls I have been bringing in. Then they call me as the girls leave to make sure it is ok. What a great service, I have been tipping the doormen appropriately.

I stayed at Queens my last two visits. ALthough it's been a few years, I love (loved) that top floor suite at the Swiss Chalet. Nice restaurant as well. Back in the day I did a review of the place, or maybe it was just photos of a Ms. Sexy in the room. Or maybe both. I do remember the model. I couldn't get enough of her.

Thank you all for the responses regarding my question pertaining to girl I'd requirements in hotels. In terms of large monger destinations that I visited, namely Sosua and Pattaya, this rule always seemed to be in effect. A/C should be a nice change.

Just happened to a girl I was with a few days ago. No big deal to her and I really didn't care.

Hotel La Corona, Tropicana Apts, Executive Plaza, and Bayview in Malate area have collected I'd's, and they don't return it to the girl unless I am present or call down to the front desk upon her departure. On Burgos, Citadel, Berjaya, and Fortuna have done the same.

And, in addition, they will usually call up to the room to ensure all is ok if a girl leaves unescorted.

I've only heard about one issue of the doorman asking for ID there; if you even want to call it an issue. At breakfast there one morning I was talking to bro, he told me the afternoon before he had brought back an apparently well known FL. The doorman pulled the bro aside and cautioned him about her. He was told that she had caused some trouble there in the past (allegedly stole an expensive watch). Being a wise person he made up an excuse (said his gf wanted to surprise him and was waiting in the resto), gave her a modest tip and sent her on her way (and tipped the doorman too).

That was unexpected. Good one Moggy. I think you'll fit in quite nicely around here. (I've edited a bit)
