Coming down to brazil in one week and I have no clue on where I am staying or where I am partying, I am landing in sao paulo on thurs morning and was thinking of catching a plane to rio that morning and staying there till sun when I need to fly back home, can someone please tell me some info on if I should stay a day or two in sao paulo or fly straight to rio I will only be there for a few days and I am looking for the motion action possible with high quality good looking girls. Can you please tell me if this is a good time to be in rio. I know when its peak season everything is really expensive. Also what hotel should I stay at that are girls friendly maybe even one that offers suites at good price. Is there any hotels in the center of action so I don't need to go far? Please help make my trip a good one and I promise lots of pictures when I get back.

Are ANY of the downtown termas open Sunday?

A couple of years ago, I went to Oceanic 116 once on a Saturday, but this might have changed. BA 85 is definitely closed on Saturdays, like 502, too. I am pretty sure that on Sunday, everything is closed.

Has anyone purchased the language lessons sold on the sidewalk by the gringo guy? An "agent" of his approached customers in/out of Meia Petaca, then he showed up. Seemed pleasant enough and he's quite proud of course.

Ah, so David is back in town? Didn't see him at all this year around (was told that he was traveling), but he is very upfront with everything and really honest. He is a great guy.

Just returned from a few days in Rio were most every afternoon I found myself spending a few hours at my favorite terma. Although I have admist that while the talent continues to be excellent the prices because of the dollar's devaluation are making it very expensive. Most days I found myself paying $240 at the door. That included to services, a massage and a few drinks. I defenitely need to start going to centro, more often. Howerver, the garrota selection can't be beat in my opinion. In particular there is a garrota called Stephanie, is fantastic. I recommend her highly! She has the most exotic look, but rather than the typical Brazilian features she looks like a very French, with beautifull black eyes and a great set of lips.

I just got back from Rio myself, dollar is weak, prices are high but I found the Help prices down about 30% since my last trip in December.

Last December most girls started the bidding at 4 or 500 Reais and ended up at 300 reais. This past week most started the bidding at 300 reais and took 200 reais without blinking. One girl i remember from this past December in December wouldn't budge off off of 500 reais, this time she grabbed 200 reais.

Sure several wouldn't budge from 300 and others wouldn't take lower than 250, others wouldn't even spend the money to enter Help as they told me there was not enough people in there so they hung outside at Help Veranda and this past December I saw these girls in Help everynight.

I felt this is a good time to go to Rio as your bargaining power increases, most nights the latest I left was about 3:30 am and there were still plenty of nice girls still looking, if I waited I probably could have gotten them even cheaper but I like to get started early.

I just got back from Rio and not just this trip but in front of the Caesar Park hotel you will find more or less the same girls that hang out in front of the Othon Palace hotel, they migrate back and forth but it seemed like they were just the nicer ones. The only difference is in front of the Caesar Park you don't have the Ladroes like in front of the Rio othon palace. This trip I really only went in front of the Othon Palace once and got sick of the attempted over charges, the first beer I bought there the big fat guy I gave him 4 reals and I asked him for my change and he told me he was keeping it. Another guy told me that since he knows me he was only going to charge me Carioca prices but he attempted to over chage me anyway, too much of a hassle I never went back.

The girls on that site are actually part of an escort service that's run out of the same place. Some of those photos are at least 2 years old. My opinion is that no termas in Recreio could support that level of talent and Termas Ancora is is not really worth a visit, its main quality being a number of large, renovated cabines.

It could be Rua do Ouvidor 130, apto 707 (open 10-18.30, R$ 13/10 min, R$ 20/15 min, R$ 30/20 min, R$ 50/30 min). Nothing really appealing.
The interesting thing with these cheap casas is the turnover of the girls. In a place with mostly undoable girls you suddenly can catch a cute newbie.

It's so convenient. Metro to Estação Uruguaiana. Do some shopping at Mercado Popular and then have a look at BA 85 and BA 113. Get laid and afterwards you have a excellent comida a quilo just between BA 85 and 113.

I am even looking at getting a place down there, but was looking away from Copa and more up Ipanema and Barra.

When I came back from an excursion to the Tropical Islands this year, the tour bus went by a brightly lit place by the name of "Terma Ancora do Recreio". It is located pretty much at the border between Barra da Tijuca and Recreio dos Bandeirantes, approx. on the 13,000 block of Avda. das Américas, if I remember correctly. Anyone ever been there? Might be worth to take a look.

Shemp: compared with BA 85 and BA 113, I would call most of the places I listed roughly comparable rather than upscale. MF1 and Club 31 are somewhat nicer, but also a bit more expensive (just a bit more). BA 85 I know pretty well, BA 113 I check out occasionally, though I've never really found anything I liked there. But I'd love to hear your opinion on my places.

J Wadd: I passed Florida several times running errands when I was at the Federal Police building on Av. Venezuela, but didn't go in. First because I was with the GF every time, second... I don't know... going to the police, hitting a brothel, going to the notary.. hitting a brothel... going to the bank.. doing another quick just seems... odd? At the same time, I have no problem doing some shopping at the Uruguiana market interspersed with quickies at BA 85, so I guess I can still improve .

BTW, this year, when I went back to BA 85, this small black chick recognized me, so we went for a repeat of last year. 20 minutes @ 15 Reais. When the 20 minutes were up and I was done, she just looked at me and said... how about me? I wanna come to!!! So she continued masturbating for another 10 minutes with me watching in amazement, and whenever the mama-sam yelled "Time!", she yelled back "Take it up the ass!". ROTFLMAO. This happened three times with her.

Back in 2004, at BA 85, they had a special of R$ 10.00 for 15 minutes and, get this, a "schoolboy" promotion of R$ 7.50 for 15 minutes. Needless to say, at lunch time, the place was happening with what seemed like entire high school classes. I was seriously inclined to get a fake student ID .

Just walking around the market, you will generally receive one or two fliers for cheap centro places. I had one for a place on Rua do Ouvidor, but unfortunately, I lost it. Well, next time... but I think Sperto already reported on that one, probably.

If I never go back to Copa and play its largely because of the excellent reports you write about Centro. I spent some time on my last trip in Centro but just did not know I was so close to so many gems. I am definitely going to MV30.
