Help prices from the GDP point of view...

Insider info read in the blog of Evelyn Angel (she used to work at Centaurus and Barbarella) GDP from Help:

    12/23/2005

For those who can't read porto, I won't try to literaly translate (my english is poor), but I can give you the general idea:

"Help is loaded, but this is a shame that the street workers are fucking it up. They pay the 32R$ of entrance and they just ask for 70/80 R$ to get out when everybody should ask for 500/600 R$ for the reveillon's week. All the regular girls are really upset and talk a lot about it, and the girl's quality is really down. Yesterday I went out for 250 R$, which I think really small with someone who told me that he had already dealt for 100 R$. "

    Feliz ano novo.

    BBBJ at Termas vs FKK

It is my experience that FKK girls give better BBBJ in general. There is money involved. If you blow it, 50e more for the girl. There was one time, I blowed it after 30 seconds with this Romanian girl. This was my third session so I was not loaded. I don't know what she did, it was too good to hold back. FKK girls work hard to get you blow it. I have a very hard time to control it. It was fun after I was totally spent to have a FKK girl to blow me. I told her that She could earn 50e more if she work hard. Man, she indeed works very hard.

I have not met a Brazilian girl working this hard to get me off quickly. Sometime, it is more positive experience.

    One Eyed Man

I have had my luggage lost in the past while traveling. Now, whenever I travel on a plane I take a carry on with a couple of changes of clothing in there so that I have at least 2 days worth of clothing with me.

My bags were lost on a flight to the Bay area, and were never found until after I returned home. They were actually sent to someone else that lost there bags also. The man that received my bags called me to tell me that he had my stuff. The thing that amazed me was that the airlines did not do the same thing, just call using the number on my tag......go figure.

    Miserable in Paradise--Part I

    Introduction

I booked a five-day stay in Rio, leaving Christmas Day and returning New Year’s Eve (major blunder, I know, not staying through NYE, but it was too late to change.) Due to bad weather at home, I missed my connection in Atlanta, getting on the later São Paulo flight, which led to my luggage being completely lost amid massive finger-pointing between Delta and Varig. I essentially wore the same clothes for five days, having waited a couple of days for my bags, trying to shop for replacements, and then essentially resolving to suffer for the remainder of my trip. I used Bubba Boy’s updated guide, as well as “Rio for Partiers,” which also found to be excellent.

    Arrival

The tip about going upstairs to the arrivals level to catch a cab works like magic. Nobody messed with me downstairs, and upstairs was empty. Taxi to my hotel was R$35, and the driver was thrilled to get a fare back to the city. I stayed at the Parthenon Queen Elizabeth (be sure to pronounce it like a Brazilian—“Partenon Haina Elizabet”—or people will seem not to understand you at all.) The location is perfect—located in very-safe Ipanema, just a few blocks from Copa and the beach at Ipanema. Ipanema seemed very safe, since just about every building had a doorman. The hotel was nice and clean, the rooms were suites but small, I thought the furniture was cheap, and I didn’t realize I had Internet access until the day I left. I don’t think I’d stay there again, since I like a higher level of pampering, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing a girl back, since the front desk area is very small, and women often do night duty at the front desk. I also was out of sync with housekeeping—the guy that usually cleaned my room came by at noon (when I was getting up), or about 3:30 p.m. (when I was back from my morning rounds.) Upon arrival, I immediately went for a walk down Avenida Atlantica, past Help, etc., etc., almost all the way down, dressed in jeans and a polo shirt. I stuck out like a sore thumb, but nobody gave me a hard time. Had a couple of Skols at a beachside stand, and man, did they hit the spot.

    Centaurus

On Tuesday, still optimistic my bag would arrive, I went for a walk on Ipanema's main shopping street, Rua Visconde de Piraja. The juice shops were fascinating, with an amazing number of juices of fruits you’ve never heard of plus yummy sandwiches. I wish I had taken more time to learn the fruit names –it would have led to a better time at the juice bars.

Centaurus is literally around the corner from the Parthenon. Based on Bubba’s comment that the girls start working in stages and are generally there by 7:00 p.m., I went at 7:30. The place was packed! In hindsight, I think this was because it was two days after Christmas, and the Brazilians couldn’t get away from their families until then. That made the check-in process a little irritating, since many people were trying to enter and leave at the same time, and the Brazilians don’t seem to put that much importance on the virtues of standing in line, and of course native Portuguese speakers got faster attention than first-timers like me.

The thermas are a paradise on earth for men. When you enter, the place looks like a chichi spa. After you pay, you take your arm bracelet and put your things into the locker with the same number, which also usually contains a robe. (Don’t worry if you need a bigger robe [like me], just ask and they’ll give you one.) There is a female attendant in the locker room, but there only were girls latching onto you one of the three times I was there, and it was annoying. After the locker room, you pass a room with showers, toothbrushes, etc., and saunas, and enter the boite.

I thought the girls at Centaurus were the most beautiful of the three thermas I visited (Centaurus, L’Uomo, and 4x4). I think 7 p.m. is the best time to get there, when the whole complement is present. There was a large element of chance which girls I took back to a room, since I usually wanted to be left in peace for a couple of minutes when I initially got there, and after that time, the next good one usually got me. Everyone reading this should be warned: Brazilian women wearing next to nothing are basically irresistible, and your jaw will drop the first time there. You will pretty much have your pick of the girls, since it seems many Brazilians drop by after work for a couple of drinks, but are mostly gone by 7:30 p.m. Still, I found very few that offered a true GFE at this place. After our session, one girl excused herself to approach other customers, which I understood. In a second session with a girl that had given me her phone number the time before, I had to really insist firmly to get a BBBJ. I had hoped that the girls would be more generous, but it really seems that you have to interview the girls and get them to commit to certain services in order to receive them. Next visit, I am really going to take my time in finding my dream girl.

One more comment: there are no clocks in the thermas (like in Las Vegas), and you can seriously lose track of time! If you have to be somewhere, wear a watch, since time will fly by, especially after a few drinks.

    Frank's

You might wanna check it out for the pure novelty of it, though.
Yes, the live sex show at Frank's is still going strong. A partner in crime and I went to Frank's last Wednesday at 11:30 p.m., and as were guided to out table, a guy was plowing a girl from behind on center stage. The rest of the night's entertainment consisted of a couple more male-female acts, a male-female-female act (the girls weren't really into it), and an all-female dance number. Between shows and for a while afterwards a topless girl danced on a small stage. By 2 a.m., the show was over, most of the guests had left, and the strippers were in their civilian clothes and disco dancing on stage.

The place is pricey, to say the least. We just ordered beer, and were brought a bucket with 6 Skols, and the check was R$120. (Clearly, much of this was a cover charge for the entertainment.) My buddy went to the bar to buy a Smirnoff Ice for the girl that was hanging on us, thinking it would be cheaper, and handed the bartender a R$50 bill and got no change back! (It's probably one of the special, overpriced girl drinks.)

    Voip phones in Rio

Does anyone know of a cyber cafe in Rio, prefereably Copacabana, that uses voip calling technology. Just looking for a way of not being able for a call recipient to trace the call back to Rio, Brazil using caller id.

    Your help is appreciated. Thanks

    Termas vs FKK, yet again

    Just my 2 reals

It is useless to try and set up a contrast and comparison of termas and FKK.
I tried to do so last July/August in my mind (I put a small report here and in the FKK Palace section) but was going bonkers remembering my experiences at both joints. Going through the days at the Termas and Fkk so as to try and see the advantages and logistics of both was driving me mad. I do not want to go through it again. Today, I agree wholeheartedly with EURO100's posts on the matter. If Germany and Brazil was exactly the same number of km from where I live I would choose Rio 4 out of 5 times. Why? Because Brazilian girls at termas can give you PSE, GFE, and also be genuinely friendly (I am not naive guys and I hope that you know what I mean).

But it is, of course, best to me a millionnaire and hop from one terma to FKK and back. In my dreams baby :-)

I usually hit the beach about 11 or 12 noon. Lunch on the beach from one of the sandwich girls, a few beers then Meia Pataca about 5 PM. Then I go to sleep at 7 or 8 PM and sleep to 10 or 11 and sometimes midnight. Shower, dress, dinner then enter Help refreshed and ready for that next lucky lady.

This last trip to Rio I had several numbers of non pros who when I spoke to them wanted to meet and have dinner with me between 7 and 8 PM. I met one for dinner at that time and it threw my whole schedule off as I missed my nap for the most part and when I hit Help at 1 AM I was not in my best form and made a bad choice plus I was exhausted. I threw all the non pro numbers away and kept to my original schedule that works for me and had a great trip.
This demonstrates hardcore mongering! But lest I accuse you of anything, I am guilty of similar on both counts. I've thrown out non-pro numbers so that it wouldn't mess with "the routine". I also develop a pattern similar to yours that puts me eating dinner right outside Help during the midnight rush. There's something so pleasantly decadent about enjoying a nice lamb or chicken dinner while picking your next prey from the beauties filing into Help. If I see a real beauty lingering before entering I have the oppurtunity to approach her to say hello (and maybe get her number right then).

I even have, on a few occasions, plucked a girl out from the waiting crowd and before entering, taken her back to the hotel for a quickie shag before heading back and entering Help. A tip for Cheapos: don't actually go back to the entrance of Help with the girl you just shagged, she'll expect you to pay her entrance fee. I will share a cab back with them but then say goodbye at the curb, telling them I'm going to look for a friend outside or get a drink.

Rio Bob, maybe we need Help (pun intended) ? Naw, I think we're just efficient mongers.

However, since you posted those recent photos, in the Photo Gallery, of the girls you picked up at Help, I may be willing to reconsider. They were choice indeed! I'll give Help another try on my next trip to Rio, although I really don't like staying up that late; I've always been an early riser. Which is another advantage of the termas, you can get laid early, a few times if you want, then go home and go to sleep. Maybe I'm just getting old.
I've taken many Termas girls out of Help! They go there on their off nights. on the weekends and sometimes after work. I've gone over there with several of the girls from Centaurs after they closed. They can be found.

The upside to the Termas is that much of the filtering has been done for you by the owners -the base level is pretty good. Help also has the winners, but you need to really search each night. The upside to Help is being able to take the girls home -my hotel room is still my favorite place for shagging!
